O.K do we need to do something about membership on this crew. Went and found AcidAss_ to go for a drive around wtih, did a few burnouts in front of them. They started shooting. I started running then they followed and killed me. So they got killed. Can we make it a closed group or something where you need a password to join?

Well yes and no. If you look at the spool drains, there is alot of extra space on the spool drain and the fitting screws in there. The spool goes in where the welsch plug in the head pops out, and then there is extra meat on the drain for it to screw into the head. The nitto one will just have a side exit with the bottom of the drain in line with the head welsch plug/port. So I think the Nitto one would be more efficent. Trust me, there is not alot of room between the 90 degree fitting off the spool head drain and the gearbox. I admit I havent put the gearbox on yet but lining it up with your eye you can see how close it will come
-
Looks better then the spool item. I have the spool drain gets a bit close to the gearbox because it exits out of the bottom, but the spool one exits from the side so you wouldnt have that problem. If your heart is set on a head drain then I'd say the Nitto one looks better

Less RPM, Less engine noise, no CAT Converter. I dunno but I'd say these are the main contributors. Diesels make power and spool turbos at much lower RPM's than Petrols (obviously not a rediculous big turbo on a small diesel, you get the idea) I think this has to do with it. But not 100% sure its the reason

Yeah I was leaving it out in the sun, spraying and then lightly heating after each coat then going over it with the heat gun for ages after the final coat. Just to bad I didn't know this when I first tried the paint lol
-
And here I was thinking I was a good/sneaky driver hiding in the city lol

Yeah the 6boost manifold are a work of art. Interested to see how it performs but I'm not worried. Everyone that I've ever talked to that has one cant speak highly enough of them. While I'm here. I've finished with the intake manifold. It's not the best because I did the first 2-3 coats of wrinkle paint by the instructions on the can and for whatever reason it doesnt work properly. So if anyone ever uses the VHT Wrinkle Plus, Follow the instructions then use a heat gun on it at the end. You can see the paint semi dry and start to get a pattern through it. I'm reasonably happy with the result but if I'd known to use the heat gun from the start I think the finish would have been alot better:

I can land them and fly them, just can't do crazy maneouvers or it trips me out and I crash into the ground. I dunno what it is about flying lol.

Topfun 2 was good. Had to think about where to drive to not be out in the open. Then the last stretch you have no choice. Was pretty hard not knowing where fighter jet was. Nismo put in a dislike for it but it might have been a bit less fun flying the plane
-
I looked at going top feed. The injectors are alot cheaper but the initial setup costs more then a new set of sidefeeds. When I got screwed over with being Nismo 740's off someone on here, So I cut my loses and bought some new 740's Maybe next time lol but I'll probably go side feed again I managed 9.9L/100km with my car once. But only once lol. Was a big achievment
-
Yeah it is a bit rediculous. If it was quicker I would just do missions, deathmatches etc non stop for a while but get bored of waiting and so do others I think Played a good one with Nismo_31 last night. 'Top fun II' were one team drives a fast car and the other flys the fighter jet and tries to destroy the cars before they get to a location. I drove. Was pretty fun I thought

Gtst Bigger Plenum, Are They Worth It?

So confused.... was it a bleed tap with a bunnings sticker on it or a home made job or am I missing something -
Did you mean decent economy as in good economy? I was getting 14L/100km or less around with Nismo 555's and about the same power level and the thing was running rich. I had a massive buildup of carbon in my dump pipe when I pulled it off and the thing used to shoot flames all that time The deatschwerks were one of my backup options if I ever needed to upgrade from my new 740's so interested to hear some more feedback.

Went all over the place when at a constant RPM/load? Or just while driving normally (e.g fluctuating load and revs?) At cruise it will fluctuate a bit but should be fairly constant, This also depends on what computer is in the car If just driving around normally the gauge will jump around. If you put your foot down you should see the gauge start dropping, usually till it hits about 11-12:1 if it is a tuned computer, if its stock ECU then this number could be lower If you are getting above 12:1 on full load at high RPM then it may be a bit to lean and need a retune

Rb25Det Intake Cam Gear Install Problem
89CAL replied to LTHLRB's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Yes use that torque setting. There should be a spot on the cam to hold with a spanner while you do the bolt up to stop it all from moving Here is the drawing for it: -
Yeah pretty good payout for level 10 I think. 20k? Pretty fun just mowing people down without having to worry about cops etc

Have to get a few people and do a game of survival. Had a go yesterday and it was pretty fun. Hard to master in Sandy shores survival but the one at the boneyard has a few vantage points and would be easier

That is the best idea I've heard in a long time Need to find cargo helicopter now.....

Rb25Det Intake Cam Gear Install Problem
89CAL replied to LTHLRB's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Yeah it should go something like this: Cam gear, washer, bolt, spring, VCT cover I would buy one from Nissan because it isn't a standard size washer. I would say it needs a set load on the spring for the VCT to work properly so if you use a washer that is to small the VCT will not work properly -
Went with this (despite everyone saying black ):

Dunno wtf just happened, all ready to play a game of survival with Age, and it just never got out of the launching screen. f**k Tried to play a game of survival before, got a good vantage point, started killing people, then all of a sudden It stopped and said I'd failed? :S Online getting frustrating today....
