  1. There's a newly designed china manifold soon to hit ebay. Similar to the old low/side mount china manifold but a much better pipe merge design. Essentially 3 runners merge at a collector (so 2 collectors in total) then those 2 collectors runs to the t3 flange collector. If that makes sense.
  2. Nothing wrong with a reg for mild fuel pressure increases. I only say that because I run a nismo fpr and running slightly more fuel pressure as not to max out the gtr injectors at 270rwkw lol.
  3. hahah. As long as you don't do something silly like bolt on a water/meth injection kit I think it will be close..... for you. hahah
  4. Each have a run with street tyres. See who gets whooped worse. 2 slicks aren't too expensive anyway. ----- BIG thanks to Madaz for popping around and giving me a hand to get that damn box out!!!!!!!
  5. I wouldn't be too concerned Shauns dyno is a fairly conservative. Most 33's push ~190rwkw ish. 14psi on stock turbo isn't a good idea it won't last long; ~12psi max if you want it to last. All depends a lot on driving style though. Hows it feel with no vct? Noticeable loss of < 3000rpm power?
  6. hahaha... Not only the box but the clutch flares also. You going to get the muppet bus on the rollers Darren? I seriously looked in to an auto conversion for a little there, MV had an auto for $350 + 220 for full manual $300 something for shift kit. UNTIL... I stumbled upon an Rb25 5speed out of a crashed series 2 gtst for $950 with tail shaft included. I had to rip the box out which was a nightmare due to the tunnel being compressed slightly. The box is in perfect nick; so I will be staying with manual and having some fun with the car around Mallala AND the drags once/when it opens back up. Keen to go halves in a pair of slicks when the time comes Darren?
  7. Inlet Cam Sold. Thanks Craked. Very Prompt Payment.
  8. I also do this. In shady area's I set the limiter to 0rpm so the car won't start.
  9. He's in the US so their 400whp is like our 300whp. Well not quite but close enough.
  10. Buy the Rb26 PFC. You can have it running single afm if you wish; once the power gets up over 350rwkw+ jump to twin afm OR I believe some sort of other maf that Adriano mentioned in another thread.
  11. jurule, Hows the PFC? Shaun said it went all well apart from a suspect std fuel pump causing a few issues with not enough fuel once on boost. He was quite happy with it loosing next to no power with it running no vct. Mid range power is up as the stock ecu was doing its usual R&R. I'll be looking at getting a vct controller in soon for testing; no $$ to waste at the moment though as I've just spent quite a few $$ with the purchase of a rb25t gearbox and still have to outlay more $$ on a good clutch and tail shaft modification. I will get around to it though.... Unless some one wants to purchase it in the name of being a guinea pig? The VCT controller works out to be some where around the $80 mark from the US. --- So in short over the stock ecu WITH VCT a pfc WITH tuning offers similar low end power but the pfc offers more mid range+ power. A PFC + VCT + Tuning obviously offers more mid range again. So expext ~10rwkw increase with VCT and a PFC through the low to mid. Top end of mid and top end power will stay the same.
  12. I am looking at the exedy GTR 3puk sports ceramic. Apparently the GTR clutch has a tougher pressure plate. What clutch are you using and with how much power? Currently the 9puk xtreme XHD (heavy pedal) holds the power once the gear is selected BUT on quick changes it slips. Granted it has done 70,000km's. lol
  13. Ahh I get you now.. Regarding the slave purchase; that depends where I get my clutch from. If its Kudos motorsport I'll also grab the slave from him.
  14. I have recently went from an AP Engineering PowerFC in my R32 GTST that was running 100% fine/no cuts jolts nothing to a 8.04a Rb26 PFC. The issue I described above in another post within this thread was not related to to the 'bug'. So.... I am now feeling this damn BUG. lol. It most definitely is ECU and ECU ONLY related as if I were to plug the AP Engineering PFC back in it would never cut/jolt. Plug the RB26pfc in and there it is; always on light throttle!!!!! I too have been told about the 'bug' from my workshop. I guess I'll learn to live with it; its not all that bad as it doesn't always do it. Appears to be the 8.04a version. Also note nothing on the car has changed apart from the ECU. It IS!!! the RB26 PFC.
  15. Mine made 4rwkw more in fourth gear than it did third back in 2002 when I had the rb20det in the car making ~164rwkw. Was repeatable too.
  16. If it takes more stroke then that would mean less effort. Think of it as a leverage type thing. A big arsed breaker bar requires more movement to provide half a turn of a bolt than what a small stubby ring spanner.
  17. The R33 slave has 2 bolt holes on the bottom of the cyl, the R32 GTST has one on the top one on the bottom. So different bolt up. Interesting.. So the bolt up bracket section bolts on to the rb25t box fine? How is the length between the two? I've been given a part number that is 'apparently' still available so I will be finding out about that tomorrow. If not.. Maybe head to a wreckers to try and find an appropriate navara. hahaha.
  18. G/box sold to me!!! Was a bitch to remove but well worth the skinned knuckles/cursing and swearing. --- The RB25DET motor looks very clean; not breathing, inlet piping and breathers all clean as a whistle. The whole car in general interior engine bay etc is a very clean example of an R33. Definitely low km's.
  19. Hey ppls, http://www.nengun.com/nismo/big-operating-cylinder Picked up a 25t box and have known about the nismo larger slave cylinder that reduces pedal effort. My initial thoughts are as the cylinder is larger it requires the master cyl to displace more clutch fluid to completely disengage the clutch. Has any one had experience with these larger clutch slave cylinders and with what clutch? No issues with disengagement?
  20. Drove down south today; was VERY surprised at how many undercover police cars were getting around. Spotted 4 heading different directions within 10mins. One undercover driving in front of me today was too busy looking in his side mirror at me he swerved in to a bike lane, no further than 30m up the road was a cyclist in the bike lane. I did note a slight jerk of the steering wheel lol. That old saying.... Do as I say; not what I do.
  21. Reason I asked is recently I pulled the head off mine. no oil in the inlet ports, exhaust ports just a light soot over them. Bores perfect, no scuffing or glazing. The combustion chambers and pistons were clean, inlet valves clean but the exhaust valves where a slight tan colour. I was told it was due to myself driving soft and the car tuned fairly lean (due to ethanol I was running and pushing 10.5-11litres per hundred), the same thing was asked of myself.. Did I run ethanol. My initial thoughts were possibly oil but was told yes it can be caused by oil but if it were oil everything would be as dirty as crap.
  22. There's no ratio or pumpkin.. Just the vlsd centre as the picture shows.
  23. What did you end up doing? The only real problem was it felt too tight getting it on or?
