  1. Nope wont hold the power reliably. Was shown a gearset from the same 6 speed box the Supras use, gearset was about 50% wider than in the 34 box as used in the supras. I was told there is somebody out there that can convert some of the wider gearsets from the supras into the R34 boxes but never asked further about it by the workshop.
  2. I would start back at basics. Throw in another set of injectors or get the old ones flow tested, one lazy one and its DET city. Make sure none of the injector wiring is a issue, right back to the ECU plug, one injector not opening enough or long enough will lean out the engine on one cylinder, enough to cause det so check wiring and plugs. Run a test with 1 or 2 heat ranges cooler spark plugs, see what it does after the injectors have been tested, dont just test with another set of plugs of the same heat range, issue could be cylinder temps, im guessing there is no EGT probe.
  3. Watch out for IR cameras with the built in LED's, they can help you see in the dark but are sort of carppy on the night image after a while, try to get cameras and a seperate IR spotlight thats pointing in the area your trying to cover.
  4. Keep an eye on firesport too, lots of gear being sold on there from Melbourne.
  5. Not good, get some cameras up ASAP, we have them on all the time. We have a lot of customers also over, i ended up moving all our GTR gear to another family members house after seeing the same car with tinted windows slowing down and eyeballing what was inside the garage, customers also were looking at everything, it was just a matter of time. A worker at one of our suppliers was telling me a few weeks ago that someone cut his roller door open with 3 cuts, enough to climb in and help himself, someone disturbed them and they ran off, police know who they are but cannot find them, this is in the north western suburbs though. Trust nobody, parts are big $, hope you catch the theiving prick and give him a taste of it.
  6. Or try Import monster in Bayswater, last time i was there he had lots of HEL kits.
  7. Its all been covered here. Most people find the stock suspesion setup is best including the factory soft spring rates. Watch and try to measure/workout the rear squat on launch, a little positive camber on the rear when unloaded will turn to no camber on launch for the best rear footprint so you need to set it up with no camber when at the launch/loaded ride height.
  8. Heaps of interest keep the offers coming...
  9. They are 5 stud, with holes between them, the holes between them dont have the capacity to hold wheel nuts, they are not bored with a taper or ridge to hold other stud patterns wheel nuts.
  10. Just go to a wrecker with VL commodores and help yourself.....
  11. Thanks portaz. Heaps of interest on these wheels people first with the cash gets them. Cheers
  12. This is whats being used, from my understanding lots are still making it into the country..... http://www.smh.com.au/digital-life/mobiles/illegal-mobile-phone-and-gps-jammer-crackdown-by-regulator-yields-results-20130717-2q2oo.html
  13. 99% sure they are not multi. Will clarify for interested buyers.
  14. Please no chit chat guys. Cheers
  15. Agree, raisng the boiling point is only usefull if your overheating, if your overheating solve your overheating issue, not just adding antiboil to cope with the problem. All cars ive had, when making the coolant mix more concentrated ive noticed as the concentate is larger the base running temp is higher with the same thermostate in the car.
  16. Weekend bump
  17. About trackers.... I was looking into them for our GTR and made some enquires at Austech, a Aussie Tech forum thats into the tech side of these things. The answer was you can freely buy blockers online to jamb the signal, all the theif needs to do is place it in or on the car and turn it on, jambs the signal. May explain why so many cars with trackers are still disappearing...... Good luck with the search, hope it turns up in one piece undamaged.
  18. I find the concentrated the coolant mix is the hotter it will run....... You want temps around the 80-85 mark, both oil and water. Make sure your clutch fan is working you should be able to hear it whirle when its hot, open the hood and give it a rev, there should be lots of airflow when its on. Most times it can come back as a slipping clutch fan. Make sure your running a shroud too atherwise it wont work effiecently.
  19. Run a dial indicator on it to check. Having said that the belt will stretch, it think GTRsean is on the money.....
  20. If you take a close look at that rotor you have an uneven pad transfer layer on the rotor and hot spots, this is causing the light shudder.
  21. Im using a 9 liter cast high octane one with trap doors on the GTR.
  22. PMs replied.
  23. all reasonable offers will be considered
  24. Yep should be dripping when aircon is on. Worry if it isnt and your car starts to smell.
