  2. You should join ours too. Ive been a member for 6mths now! woo
  3. There is a Bilstein shop down the road from me. Might be cheaper. On the Princes Hwy near Newtown. People are right though. Those are just rubber covers and every 93 skyline I have looked at with stock suspension they have just disintegrated. You dont need to spend money on new suspension though it might be worthwhile anyway since if you really want to fix that you have to take the shocks out.
  4. I would leave it stock and spend the money on something else. They look great from the factory.
  5. Factory option. Not easy to make useful in Australia. Someone on this forum bought one. I doubt it has much practical value.
  6. Metho hey. Will have to try that on a little panel. Didnt discolour the underlying plastic at all?
  7. SO not worth it anymore. I got my own choice of XXX-NNN plates for a one off fee. Otherwise there is no way I would pay a recurring fee anymore. F'ing rediculous when you look at the state of the roads in Sydney!!!!
  8. doesnt sound right. Have you had your car on a dyno?
  9. This is already sold. Sorry.
  10. Yes very pretty. Would love to get one cheap
  11. Can I just ask a couple Q's? What is you plan to paint the dash panels? What colour are you going? Are you using a plastic primer? How are you removing the coating thats on the original panels?
  12. 265 all round? What's that for? 265 is too damn wide. 245 up front is the most i'd go. Its a pain in the ass driving on bad roads with wide fronts.
  13. The engine is for sale. I dont know how much though. The owner is quite keen to see the motor sold soon. The car is accident damaged along the passenger side. Looks like a healthy wall scrape.
  14. its only worth what people are willing to pay. if there's no demand.....
  15. The engine has about 64,000km on it. I have seen it in the flesh and it looks great.
  16. Never seen it myself either. Sorry. Only know it exists because of the manual and in the dash there is a hole where a globe could go. It says CRUISE on it.
  17. I have seen dates written as such: 1 / 10 / H3 1st October 1991 etc.
  18. sounds like a Leyland P76 maybe?
  19. Yeah i know a guy selling some I have to go pickup some bits off him on the weekend so will just grab them off him then.
  20. That seems to be the way it goes with car parts though. People are all too willing to pay the asking price because they don't know any better. Have you looked at some yahoo Japan auctions for these? I'm sure you could find someone who could help you get some from there.
  21. The R33 had a factory optional cruise control. There is a light for it in the dash. I dont know how hard it would be to scavange one of these units from a wreck but thats what I would try and do.
  22. Nice but way overpriced just like all Defi products.
  23. Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I think the CRD guy misunderstood what you wanted.

    Idle

If its happening on hot days it could be the clutch fan engaging to move air through the radiator. Does the temperature gauge sit much above half way on your car?
  25. Strut Regas Pty Ltd 23 College St Drummoyne 2047 Mobile Service 0418 690 635 $110 to regas the two struts, they come to you. Oh well, put that way down the list!
