There is a Bilstein shop down the road from me. Might be cheaper. On the Princes Hwy near Newtown.
People are right though. Those are just rubber covers and every 93 skyline I have looked at with stock suspension they have just disintegrated.
You dont need to spend money on new suspension though it might be worthwhile anyway since if you really want to fix that you have to take the shocks out.
SO not worth it anymore. I got my own choice of XXX-NNN plates for a one off fee. Otherwise there is no way I would pay a recurring fee anymore.
F'ing rediculous when you look at the state of the roads in Sydney!!!!
Can I just ask a couple Q's?
What is you plan to paint the dash panels? What colour are you going? Are you using a plastic primer? How are you removing the coating thats on the original panels?
The engine is for sale. I dont know how much though. The owner is quite keen to see the motor sold soon.
The car is accident damaged along the passenger side. Looks like a healthy wall scrape.
Never seen it myself either. Sorry. Only know it exists because of the manual and in the dash there is a hole where a globe could go. It says CRUISE on it.
That seems to be the way it goes with car parts though. People are all too willing to pay the asking price because they don't know any better.
Have you looked at some yahoo Japan auctions for these? I'm sure you could find someone who could help you get some from there.
The R33 had a factory optional cruise control. There is a light for it in the dash. I dont know how hard it would be to scavange one of these units from a wreck but thats what I would try and do.
If its happening on hot days it could be the clutch fan engaging to move air through the radiator.
Does the temperature gauge sit much above half way on your car?
