  1. That explains that. Must be the new cement rendering that made me think they had moved.
  2. Followed "MR 32" for a while yesterday while cruising down to Wollongong for the day. Blows a bit a smoke but a nice paint job.
  3. Went down there on Sunday for some bits and it was closed up. and there's no big sign there anymore. The building seems to have been rendered recently... I wonder! Were they ever open on Sundays?
  4. Hey mate Theyre going well. No gutter scrapes yet. Very careful when parking. Good luck with the sale!
  5. Shipping will cost $80 - $100 for these rims to sydney using a courier such as http://www.tollipec.com.au/ . I know this because ive already made that enquiry when I was thinking of buying these rims off Scotty!
  6. Ditch them before you get booked. Honestly everyone else is looking at your car thinking "that is the lamest thing i have ever seen."
  7. Is it a relay type noise?
  8. This guy must get all the girls.
  9. Said many times before but: - Different dash fascia plastic, Series 2 is harder to scratch - The same plastic is used on the drivers side window control panel - Different gauge cluster, Series two is ugly with individual cutouts for warning lamps - Airbags, driver and passenger - Different "key in/lights on" warning tone - Cloth seats in S2 vs. Velour seats in S1 - Cloth trim in door trims in S2 to match seats, Velour trim in S1
  10. touche
  11. Oh shit. Sell it for parts.
  12. My GTS25t is KH2
  13. Anyone else, B-Man might keep his.
  14. Ill PM you. Thanks.
  15. bump. Anyone selling one? can trade for other parts!
  16. More Series 1 -> Series 1.5 -> Series 2 differences. - Series 1 and 1.5 have different horns than series 2 - Series 1 has a different evaporative emissions cannister than 1.5 and 2 - Series 1 has a different "key in/lights on" tone to series 2 - Series 1.5 and possibly 2 have a unknown electronic device underneath the airbox. I dont know what it does. Series 1 does not have it. Looks like a big resistor? - Series 1.5 and 2 has different factory speaker grills in the rear - Tyre placards changed in Series 1.5 and 2
  17. I can confirm it is KH2
  18. With those stock size tyres, did your car come with the Active LSD? Thats what the factory put on Active LSD GTSts
  19. Use this if unsure http://www.inf.bme.hu/~zed/onlinetools/tyresize/ Anyway a 245/35R18 are actually 0.51% (average) smaller OD than 205/55R16. The difference is so small that it doesnt matter.
  20. Didnt you get the memo? Were going to need all the TPS reports to have this cover sheet from now on.
  21. Yes Brant have said this. But is it possible to program them without taking it to brant and paying the $35 to "flick a switch" as they put it to me. Danny , do you know about these?
  22. For cabling i have some AEPro RCA cables from the headunit to the boot, for power i have some 8 gauge stuff directly from the battery positive and negative terminals. For speaker cable im using some 168/0.12mm or something from dick smith. Wasn't the thickest but wasnt the thinnest either. Only needed 1 meter so cant be too bad. For terminals im using some from dick smith again. Should i solder the terminals as well as squashing them?
  23. Ok so i got paid yesterday so i went and got the said equipment. Its pretty damn sweet. I had already wired up the Subwoofer outs to the boot last week because i had the dash off so all I had to do was wire the power up today. So now with a JVC headunit powering 2 x 6inch clarions in the front and 2 x 6inch clarions in the back and a sony XM222 amp bridged powering the 12" 800w xplod sub in the boot it sounds quite nice. Ive turned the rear clarions down a bit just enough to be audible to fill out the sound a little. I turned the amps Low Pass Filter to "ON" but since im using the subwoofer outputs on the headunit should I leave the LPF off or on?
  24. pics arent working dude.
