  1. They would book you for everything you do wrong during the pursuit. - Neg driving - Dangerous driving - Speeding - Failure to indicate - Falure to stop at stop sign - Red light offences on top of that they stick you with - Evasion - Resisting arrest
  2. I'd say theres quite a few GTS-t's out there already with bodykits so why not find one you like. Spending money after you buy a car is not really smart since you've already spent loads on the car, spending more money on it feels really dumb. Try and buy one with the mods you want already done. Stock always seems nice at first but all it means is money pit.
  3. There is also a few Nissan dealers who can get/stock Nismo parts. Theres one on Princes Highway next to Supercheap in Tempe i think.
  4. A bloke on the forums is selling two. $750 i think. Apart from that UAS probably can get them since they are the Nismo guys. But they'll cost you. Conversion to any colour you want should be a simple matter of disassembling the cluster. I have disassembled my stock GTSt cluster a few times and theres nothing to it. Once inside, you can then see how much work it would take. Colour change should be a piece of piss unless Nismo are using Electroluminescent faces. I could help ya out if you want Merli.
  5. Compliancing under the new system is expensive. You have DOTARS to thank for that. It's expensive because to become a RAWS even for a single type of car means the investment of 10's of thousands of dollars (40-80k?). That outlay must be made back by the RAWS if they ever expect to turn a profit (which seems difficult) and im sorry but it's up to the customers to pony up. On top of that they have to do some labour for each car and some bits and pieces might be required.
  6. I think a Corolla or maybe a Barina would be a good first car for you.
  7. Open the ECU. The R33 ECU is not programmable by default as there is nothing reprogrammable on the board. If it has been reprogrammed a surface mount chip must be converted to socketed and then new chip installled. This will be blatently obvious once the device is opened. If it looks relativly untouched then the ECU is stock.
  8. hey guys thanks for the cruise was good to put some faces to names. I'll definatly be into the next one.
  9. It could be a fault with the internal temp sensor. This is located in the dash below the gauge cluster. You can see it because it draws air in through a vent. There is supposed to be a hose connected to this vent which commonly goes missing when people remove the dash fascia. inside the vent is a temperature sensor which is always getting really dusty. Spray some electrical contact cleaner on it after removing as much excess dust as you can. Ill try to find a pic.
  10. yeah wtf happened here. It looks like it got smooshed by several trucks.
  11. EMS isnt that much slower than DHL and for the money you save its worth just waiting 3-5 days more.
  12. The offset on those wheels make me think maybe they could fit under the GTS25t gaurds afterall. Oh and wheres the pic from behind?
  13. bump. Still no luck finding one of these. Anyone have one?
  14. dude stop posting your waste of time threads in General. That's what the "Wasteland" forum is for.
  15. EMS is the Japanese postal service express parcel delivery. It is the premium service for sending parcels ex Japan. UPS and DHL are just international courier companies. They are both US companies originally im sure. You also, for small items, have the option of SAL which is the economy air mail from the Japanese postal service. It takes 3-5 times as long but is usually half the price. They only send items up to 3kg or less though. EMS is great, and even though it's expensive it's probably the cheapest/best method of sending stuff ex-Japan.
  16. Do a search this was covered yesterday and the day before and the day before. Why dont you try looking at them? Theyre H1 55w !@#!@!#!
  17. Sweet thanks.
  18. Yeah i found some nearly new second hand 265/35R18 michelins for $150 each the other day but when i went to buy them the customer called and complained that he wanted to swap his old tyres back. They were supposedly off a ferrari
  19. Oh and Wax's dont really damage the paint as they are a protectant. Things that will damage the paint are cutting compounds, swirl removers, etc. They are abrasive by nature and will wear into the clear coat if used too frequently.
  20. As Merli said, S100 is the best. If you want good + easy to get then you can try Meguirs number 26 which is available at auto stores in a beige bottle with a 26 on it. I haven't tried that but I have tried Meguirs gold class and found it to be pretty ordinary/average. I havent seen any retail stores stocking S100 yet. Have you Merli?
  21. This guy cant use his caps lock key but wants to drive a GTR. What is the world coming too.
  22. I would say the WRX gets the jump because of traction more than anything. The gearing lets the stock WRX down more than the boxer engine I would say.
  23. no it does not.
  24. retails for 2500 at wreckers with almost new tyres no selling for friends etc
  25. stupid pricks. where was it parked?
