  1. dude just wondering but is this your car: if it is i think the answer your looking for is that your car IS a chicken.
  2. ill take it and pay postage/courier to sydney if you would do it.
  3. Dude, you forgot to plug in your AFM. Happens to all of us. If you did plug it back in, then go and unplug, clean the terminals and plug it back in. The car is currently in "limp home mode".
  4. Yeah my thoughts exactly. I skipped the bleed valve thing completely and went straight to the Apexi PowerFC full ECU replacement with boost control kit. Saved the money i wouldve spent on bleed valves, boost controllers, electronic boost controllers, SAFC's or other piggyback systems, plus the performance is better than you can get with piggybacks.
  5. Stock R33's are not rare these days as all the imports have to be stock. I would say this has had a good effect on the value of already modded examples in the country. You're best bet would be to upgrade the exhaust first. Replace the dump and front pipe with a 3" combined front/dump pipe, replace the catalytic convertor with a 3" hiflow item, replace the cat-back system with something free flowing and at least 3" and get yourself a good muffler which will flow well while not being too loud. Depending on the money you have the options you have with the exhaust vary. You could get a HPC coated split dump pipe (seperating the wastegate from the exhaust outlet at the turbo to reduce turbulence). After the exhaust you should either use a performance panel filter in the stock airbox, buy an aftermarket airbox and panel (ARC for example) or build/buy a partition for a pod filter. You should not just stick a pod filter in the engine bay. This will decrease performance on the street.
  6. The RB25 information in the engine bay would refer to R32 models with the RB25DE engine (GTS25).
  7. Tyres Merli? brand, specs, tread condition?
  8. ABS in optional. There are series 1 and 2 with ABS and there are series 1 and 2 without ABS. Here is how you tell: First pic has no abs. This is from a S2 R33 GTST. Second and third pic show the abs unit with a closeup.
  9. The plenum is the bit to the left of number (1). The big silver bit :headspin:
  10. dude your site is good but invest in a new camera
  11. Hmm. You are using a small intercooler and doing consecutive dyno runs. With the stock intercooler I saw a 10kw decrease in each consecutive dyno run because of heat soak. Just a suggestion.
  12. someone badged one of my side "GT" badges one night as well. I dont know who would bother stealing badges off a car. Does it bring someone enjoyment to own a badge for a car they cant afford??
  13. I ended up bolting my sub box into the boot after trying a few other methods of keeping it from sliding around. What i did was bolt it to one of the existing holes in the boot floor. If you lift up the carpet in the boot you will see big cutout circles which are plugged with rubber plugs. If you lift one of those plugs out you see there if a big hole. I built a bracket that bolts on to the back of the sub box and clamps onto one of those holes. I'd have to take photos to explain exactly. Ill do that tommorrow.
  14. Has the price of R33 GTSts gone up or something lately? 22k seems high for an import?
  15. rock on ;) Glad to see you have the beast back.
  16. Sunroof should be easy as it is approximately equivilent to a power window. In other words, you would only need a "auto-close" circuit - which is avaiable at Jaycar as a kit - as opposed to a auto-close, then auto-open circuit for power mirrors. You could do it yourself with a bit of time, a few basic tools, and some common sense on your side!
  17. Sorry for biting your head off there. I just did it to be different. To attract less attention (it may or may not succeed in doing that) and because I like the appearance of two largish stainless tips. Overall flow is probably down on the average 3, 4 or 5 inch tip but im sure there are other factors in the exhaist that are more restrictive like my cat-convertor which make the overall difference trivial.
  18. it reduces the effect engine twisting on its mounts from torque which can lead to wear and failure of engine mounts in big hp engines. Looks pretty cool in the engine bay too
  19. Well hmm. It doesnt matter if it is a diode or a resistor. Both diodes and resistors lower the voltage. The average diode will drop the voltage around 1.5v and have the added bonus of only conducting in one direction for polarity protection of the circuit. If you replace either with a piece of wire you may not necessarily destroy the device immediatly but you may reduce the potential lifetime of the LED's in the brake light assembly. Depending on the tolerence of the circuit of course. Chances are nothing bad will happen.
  20. Any exhaust shop could modify the Jap exhaust to fit for very cheap.
  21. Get some roof racks too!
  22. You need some clear side winkers dude.
  23. i have no work to do
  24. blinging
  25. oh and sell me your old rims
