  1. Yeah JimX is right. If you've ever pulled the front end of a Skyline apart you will know that this part of the car is extremely strong. (Crossmember) Just watch that you dont do anything silly like put the jack under the sway bar. Alternatively you can use the standard jack locations as indicated by the diagram in the user manual. If your trolley jack does not have a notch cut to go over the metal bit then just get a block of wood with a notch in it to put on top of the jack. If you dont have a user manual then the jack locations are also noted by a sticker on the standard wind up jack.
  2. have you got pics of the muffler, or at least some specifications? inlet size, tip size, straight through, diameter, condition?
  3. babelfish.altavista.com translates much better than nifty.
  4. GG Prank and everyone. Can't wait to see what's next. Oh and the forums could do with a new skin!
  5. See how your fuel economy goes btw. Take note next time you fill up and let us know.
  6. Yep. if you can get the car here and landed for 500000y then go for it. infact, buy 10 and sell them at at least 200% profit.
  7. I love the 33. :cuddle:
  8. that was long and i feel dumber for watching it. im just sad it didnt catch on fire and burn the idiots house down.
  9. yeah i would say it depends on the condition of the device. I have also heard around 18psi.
  10. um didnt you already "own" a R33 GTR?? and now you don't even know if you can import a 500,000y GTR? get off the computer and stop building a make believe world or all youll end up with is a bunch of imaginary friends.
  11. Get some pics. I did say I would like to see it done. Ask your mate how he did it. The grill not fitting is the least of the problems, you could easily fiberglass up something to fit.
  12. Yes lock nuts wont save your wheels against a determined theif, it is easy enough to chisel them off. The thing is, that requires bringing a hammer and chisel along, and making a lot of noise, and probably setting off ultrasonics inside the car. It would be much easier to just look somewhere else.
  13. Yeah its hard to tell from these photos but it looks suspiciously like Series 1.5. I can only judge this by the pink plate on the AFM. Series 1 that I have seen have green plates. This could just be a batch thing though, or even a replacment afm. Jimx what colour is your AFM's plate? It's not series two but we all knew that.
  14. just going to add that this guy is a good bloke. bought some wheels off him the other day and although he has a low post count he is genuine.
  15. There's a typo in the price as well. Surely he meant $2150 and not $21k as there is no way in hell anyone would pay that for such a heap of shit car. You could have a very decent sports car for that price (read skyline ).
  16. Please use the search function. Short answer is no they do not fit. Long answer is yes, with a lot of money, you could buy the bonnet, guards, front bar, grill and you would probably have a series II front end conversion the headlights would fit onto. but, I have not tried it myself and I am against just believing everything i read on the internet. If i had a S2 headlight I would at least try it out then report my findings. People said 350z 18" track rims wouldnt fit on my car and here I am driving around on them.
  17. An exhaust will only flow as much as it's weakest link. In your case your cat might be cactus. Also consider the muffler, it may be a restriction as well. There is little point to changing parts of your exhaust and leaving restrictive parts in. Maybe think about investing in a new 3" hiflow cat (buy one from BATMBL in these forums).
  18. Yes. In 1995 they included magical abilities into the ECU. Each one is factory blessed by a registered fairy and sat upon by a japanese school girl before being excreted into the car at high velocity by a small leprichaun with a big butt. This makes about as much sense as your post with about as much logic to back it up.
  19. do you have lock nuts? $25 at super cheap.
  20. Yes changing the battery is simple and has been covered before. Try a search. But basically you need to make sure the battery you buy as a replacement needs to be approximatly the same size as your existing one to fit in the tray and not be too tall as to intefere with speakers or such. It also needs to have quite small terminals to fit. Since it is in the boot the battery should be a sealed type, also known as maintenance free. It should not have caps that can be opened to replace water. You can pick one up from $60 and up.
  21. Very smart. The data is there if you know how to get it. Are you planning on giving the software away to other enthusiasts?
  22. Hehe dont shutup, its a good question and I have no proof to back myself up so either of us could be right. On topic, I agree that as an "upgrade" the 95 ECU is only worthwhile if you can get it for free or swap over your existing 93, 94 ECU. It is well overrated.
  23. Dont want to sound blunt but, whats your point? I believe the VVT between all RB25DET engines is the same until you reach the late model engines, that is the NEO from the R34 and perhaps some very late model R33's or Stageas.
  24. Hey guys, I bought a Pivot super baby turbo timer off the forums yesterday and just wanted to know if anyone had one and still had the manual or at least knew the wiring diagram/colours. Trying to find out which colour wires go where. Thanks
