  1. I have driven the 2002 Integra Type-R and i must say it was fun but not fast. The thing handles like a dream and it has some getup and go and will quite happily change lanes all by itself with the torque steer if you let it but it takes soooo long to get there. My driving experience of it went like: Ok i wanna go fast now, floor it, revs start climbing... climbing some more... oh look its almost 3 o clock... revs climbing... i wonder whats on the radio... revs climbing ... im hungry might get something to eat... revs climbing some more... oh vtec kicks in - hmm thought that was supposed to be like fast mode ... oh yes it is kinda fast i suppose.... here we go. ok 8000 or so revs should probably change gears i guess. start process over again. and the interior is ugly, those dials are so bad to look at. after i got used to the only-goes-fast-over-5k thing it was a lot more fun but i found the almost complete lack of low and midrange annoying in all situations, especially daily driving. I guess after driving a turbo car im a bit biased.
  2. Are they the stock 350z track rims or are they options?
  3. Looking for some R33 GTR rims, stock ones. Any condition considered. Prefer Sydney but can organise shipping interstate no problem.
  4. Dont ever believe anything anyone in a shop tells you. They just want your money.
  5. send pics to suid@chilli.net.au thanks
  6. The base map may be fine for some people but it may not be fine for everyones car with infinite variety of modifications. I would be watching the commander very closely especially the knock sensor reading. I found that with the base map on my car it knocked too high at full throttle so i pulled it out until I can get it tuned.
  7. I got a quote for $78.15 to send 4 wheels + tyres of up to 80kg from Melbourne to Sydney with Toll IPEC. Give them a call.
  8. Clark Rubber should be able to help. They have a huge selection of grommets.
  9. If i were you i would just get NRMA to jump start you then go and buy a battery elsewhere.
  10. Damn. I was hoping it would be an announcment of the V35 Skyline coming to Australia.
  11. This is an awesome pic:
  12. You need a few stamps.
  13. For answers to this question and many more, let your fingers do the walking (at least on the keyboard) over to www.yellowpages.com.au. Enter "speedometer repairs" into the search and choose your location. I got a few hits under NSW - Sydney. I have pasted a couple of relevant looking ones below: Airco Automotive Instruments 165 Victoria Rd Marrickville NSW 2204 ph: (02) 9560 2755 Advanced Automotive Instrument Co Pty Ltd Unit B1, 77 Carrington St Revesby NSW 2212 ph: (02) 9792 7399 Digital ODO & Speedo Repairs 19 - 21 East St Lidcombe NSW 2141 ph: (02) 9649 1442 St George Instrument Services Pty Ltd 302 The Grand Pde Sans Souci NSW 2219 ph: (02) 9529 6310
  14. Thanks. It figures. 7000 it is then.
  15. To diffuse the light output of 5mm LED's you can sand down the "lens" portion of the top of the LED. Try it out and see if it improves the light spread.
  16. ive been waiting a while for this game. I have not seen any evidence to say that there will be Skylines in it. They mostly mention Toyota Supras, Celicas, some Hondas...
  17. I thought the rev limiter was set to around 7200rpm stock. I often see my needle zip past the 7000 mark on my stock ECU'd car.
  18. Def. Series 1. That wing was an option. The headlights, rear badging, bootlock all scream S1. Looks fairly clean inside. You paid a lot for a stock series 1 though. One of the first things *I* would do if I just bought that car would be remove the piece of shit aftermarket blow off valve and use the stock one. Unless there is something wrong with the stock one. Oh and the Nismo carbon fibre around the window are probably real. The same ones are for sale at UAS (http://www.uniqueautosports.com.au/priceli...elist_nismo.htm)
  19. Making it the best mag out there.
  20. ive been in a G35 sedan (the Skyline is branded as the Infiniti G35 in the USA) as it was fanged around a bit. It goes alright but the sedan is a bit heavy for its own good. The coupe is sexy and I would take it over the 350Z since its a Skyline. I would change the grill though.
  21. If i may ask, how much did Nissan charge for the parts? Does your window motor sound quieter now. All R33's ive ever been in have fairly loud window motors.
  22. shit good deal. ill buy that. I have an R33 GTS25t. I'll PM you. Gotta cancel my request with Jimbo now hehe im sure he wont mind not having to bring back yet another PFC for me.
  23. i have a friend on these forums who also works at the same place i do. He has an R33 GTS25t S2 w/ R33 GTR rims. Works fine.
  24. just confirming my PFC order is still on. edit: Actually I might have to cancel since i found a deal which includes the hand controller and boost controller for a pretty good price. No hard feelings im sure you'd prefer less junk to lug back anyway!
  25. wish i could. sounds like a good day and a excellent photo op but i dont think my car will be ready by then. doh
