At the driver briefing - McGill went thru a few basic moves, recoveries etc - He also emphasised that he was going to run the day so everyone has 'fun'.
I'm sure if someone went up to him and said "I'm having trouble with so and so" he would have been more than happy to help out with some instruction. In fact - I saw him noticing some drivers who were a bit hesitant - He would motion the driver over and go for a lap with them. I know this only happened a couple of times, but it showed that he was available for help.
Cheers,
I've been riding my pushie to Manly each day to catch the ferry to the city - Today I nearly got knocked off my bike by a farking idiot driver who didn't indicate - paid no attention at all to what what happening around them - didn't stop at a stop sign and was generally a complete knuckle-head.
I know some bike riders ride like they own the road - but I was riding safely and my was within the concrete gutter line very close to the curb.
Humph...........
Thanks for listening !
