  1. Hmmmmm OK, I guess ........... Still not 100% clear to me
  2. Well, if Team Trackday are going, I'd best make an effort - Sounds like a blast ! Better get the diary out - so many events coming up ! Good to see
  3. Dino, but is someone from another State (eg ACT) joined Skylines Australia NSW, then they would be intitled to all the NSW club benefits, including the CAMS stuff ??? Right or Wrong ?? Cheers,
  4. Dude, be careful driving it if you are losing fuel pressure. Why do you need a non mechanical unit ? Is this cause you need it in cabin ? I gotta 1:1.5 fuel pressure regulator with pressure guage on it - could fit that inline (after) with your std fuel pressure reg - but then you would have to have someone in your engine bay watching it whilst driving around - might be a big dangerous Or you could stick it on the Dyno to check it out. but if intermittant, may be a bit hard. Have you got a A/F ratio metre ?? That should tell you somehting ?? Cheers,
  5. What Dino said dude - just a bit of a (bad) joke aimed at the Police.
  6. I saw a Dark Silver (grey) R33 on forestway (cnr warringah rd) this morning, stock wheels and a red GT stripe down the left hand side of the car - Very unusual .............
  7. I'm out too kids - Gotta go round and see my Ma & Pop, they need some help.
  8. Good timing too - can announce at the SAU NSW qtrly meeting tomorrow. Dare I say, the first BIG (HUGE) milestone for the club after 12+ months of operation. Well done again - and very proud/pleased to be a member of such a professional & affiliated organisation.
  9. A big thanks to Dino for organising and following through on this. Also to Carlo and Dan for their part. This is a big step forward for the club and I'm sure other members and potential members will benefit from the work put in from the above mentioned folks, Cheers you guys !
  10. And he's trying to convince me to do the same ! Good on ya Joel ! whatsisname - I share your pain dude ! Same thing happened to me just recently too - However, I'm EMS equipped. I went through a phase (2 actually) of wanting to sell my car, but then I came to my senses. Unlike yourself, it's my decision alone, so that makes it easier for me. I'm now doing some research to what spec/bits to rebuild. Joel & others keep telling me to do it myself cause it is easy (just got to do a bit of running around, etc, then maybe get somone to put it all back together when all the hard yards are done) Good luck dude, I'll be keeping an eye on your progress. Cheers,
  11. So were their any incidents with the police or were they just baiting ??? (Sounds a bit like entrapment to me) Ya should have told them you belonged to a Christian Car Club and that you were just going for a friendly drive - And did they want to donate any money to the Christian Car Club. I'm sure Christian would have been happy if they did donate... Well is sort of is Christian's Car club anyway - so it's no exactly a load of BS.
  12. Chiptorque have a kit - $54.00 - dunno how good it is but www.chiptorque.com.au Cheers,
  13. Not sure about cost as I got a package deal. I understand the sard ones will need a new fuel rail and maybe some sort of adapter for them to fit ??? Not sure tho.
  14. Don't you beleive it Benm, look what happened to me last time I drove out to EC
  15. Understand SW-20GT no wuckers. Cheers, B-Man/Brendan/Dickhead - what ever ya want to call me
  16. Ronin has a better ring to it than SW20-GT hey ?? That's twice in this thread that happened !!! Quality Tosh !
  17. 305 CTP 45 Reg Tax 291 Motor Vehicle Tax 378 Custom Plates My Tare weight is 1506 - which I think is too much (and I think the taxes are based on weight) What are everyone elses Tare weights ??? Not you Tosh, you don't have enough cylinders mate ! Cheers,
  18. INASNT, They are stock injectors high flowed to 610cc - I understand that the flow tests were documented, but I never saw the paperwork - So that's why I wanna get them tested again - to be sure, to be sure. Also I have heard good and bad things about High Flowing injectors (retrespective to my mods being done) - If I get the results back and the flow and spray pattern (don't know if they can test this) are OK, I will re-use them - If not, I'll be up for new injectors & prolly rail with the rebuild. I'm hoping they will be OK. If not, then It may be one explanation for my little problem. I wanna get it 200% right Cheers,
  19. Doc, you punce - you are prolly right - my launches are Shite Nuthing that a bit of practice won't fix but ! Nice photo BTW - You superstar !!!
  20. GiJOr33, The EMS doesn't use AFM - THe BOV used to vent to atmosphere, but I got it change to plumback now cause I hated the noise (drew too much attention) and I wanted it be legal.
  21. yeah, thought about that Joel and is a good option - but for some strange reason - I feel compelled to keep the original engine number ?? Dunno why maybe cause i don't want to go through blue slip process again (after the one it went though at time of import) - I will think about this some more though.... Can you link to the RB30E guide you mentioned ?? Cheers,
  22. I really can't say - nothing to compare it to other than the stock ECU - It just sits there and works - (no hand controller). The car idles, no flat spots, seems easy to tune (I don't touch it though cause I have NFI) I don't know too many other people using the Stinger on their Skylines - JulianGST from these forums does and he is happy - One thing I did notice with both our cars (saw this happen to Julian at EC), is that when you dump it - lots of black smoke from the exhaust. I understand this indicates richness, which is a good thing, but the cars behind me may not appreciate it...... he he I might think about changing the EMS after the engine rebuild, but I want to speak to a few more people & do a bit more research first,
