  1. Lock in the first point Eddy, that's a good compromise. Rape your car before you sell it at least Lock in point number 2 as well. Of course gtst's get raped I raped mine the other day But you're spending lots more on a GTR, so more risk. Point is, at least he knows the gtst has plenty of life in it.
  2. Tricky scenario. If you've just finished hi-flowing your gtst: 1. You'll lose money on the mods when you sell it. 2. Someone else will be enjoying a fresh 220kw So it's not exactly great to give that up IMO, but: 1. No a dead stock GT-R won't go like a 220rwkw gtst. 2. BUT a GT-R will make that OR more power using stock turbos, needing only simple mods like intake/exhaust/retune, and puts it to the road more effectively. 3. You know your gtst is fresh, but you're gambling buying a new car. It might be a lemon and need some expensive bits and pieces. 4. If you plan to spend some dough to make the GT-R faster you'll be paying roughly DOUBLE what it costs to mod a gtst. I'm sure lots of gtst owners would LOVE a GT-R (me included) but aren't willing to fork out large amounts of money when a gtst is already fun and reliable. So my point is it's a great upgrade, but are you loaded enough? And is it worth giving away a car you just modded for a gamble at a car we all know has probably had a raping from many little Jap boys and some rough aussies too? If you answered YES to both then congratulations on becoming the new owner of an R33 GT-R
  3. Love the 33 dude. Tough
  4. It's been raining, and my car's dirty too. Since the meet is next to a carwash Anna won't have to go far!
  5. Good quality scans
  6. GT cars are more exciting than touring cars IMO. The only exception there is the DTM, that has awesome touring cars. You can't really compare them tough, they're not the same.
  7. I can understand the thrill of paying to see Formula 1 Grands Prix, Super GT, and the numerous competitions in Europe (i.e. Le Mans). These races are cutting edge, develop new technologies and for the petrol head are titillating. But when you think about it, in Oz all we see is Fords/Holdens driving around as cabs, cop cars, passenger cars absolutely EVERYWHERE. So why the sh!t do we pay to see them again in the V8 Supercars? At least give the Falcodores some awesome body styling like Super GT cars! V8 Supercars = Marketing Super GT = Cultural Event
  8. It's up to the task for sure. Just those bloody rules mean all the goodies on the R35 have to be chucked. And hey, i don't exactly think a V8 GTR is a bad thing. Not true to form, but damn it would ram through those corners with all that torque. Just imagine on a street GTR, the ATTESA being fed by a V8! Sheeat!
  9. I doubt we'll ever know.
  10. Have to agree with Sewid here. Until i see an R35 on Parramatta road with one of you bastrds behind the wheel and plates reading "GTR-R35" let's stop flirting with it.
  11. Love Sydney, but hate being on the roads. Might as well walk to work. How is Vic for lifestyle? I'm thinking of moving down.
  12. At least it's available. Good for potential buyers, seeing as they don't need to wait a year.
  13. This car confuses me. Don't know whether to race it or take a bite.
  14. Very nice Thought of getting this done too. How would you rate it? Only good for big power?
  15. I have a series 1, no switch. Actually i have no antenna. It's broken off. I reckon the Jap owner got the shits so hard seeing a flagpole on the boot he just got out in anger and ripped it off. Hmmm, that's what too much sake does. I can still hear the antenna motor whir when i turn on the radio- but the deck is Japanese and has hardly any bandwidth. Plus no antenna! So i just play CD's...WTF?
  16. Hahaha so casual about it! Gotta love this forum
  17. I noticed idle became louder after this mod.
  18. It's Colin Buckley making his escape. Get him! That had to jumpstart the bugger. Buckely's "Operation R35" was all class. Out of the box!

  24. My exhaust manifold was repaired a few months ago, turbo came off and several gaskets were replaced. Power wise it's not bad. 189rwkw @ 10psi is what i expected with my mods. But response down low is bad (sounds like an NA city driving) and higher up can't really hear air being compressed. Well i told everyone it was turbo-back leaking, so that's what they were referring to. So should i look at doing the exhaust or do i need to get on Nengun and check out their Turbo platter?
