How can you check the actuator? I have a similar problem (gauge reading falls).

Oil cooler is a waste for city driving. Only a good mod if you hit the track, otherwise there is little benefit. If you don't ever plan to hit the track then don't bother is my opinion. Quick fix= get oil temp. gauge and that will show you how hot the oil is in summer with air con. running.

I thought it was an R34 too, it's an R32 (from the back anyway haha) Yeh dude...z you missed the V-Spec...it's the best skyline i've ever seen (don't get too excited if ur reading this Mass hehe) and it wails like a caged animal in every gear Might see it if you come to Wiseman's, oh and Mass is a champion too (nearly forgot you there cuz) My next ride = R34 GTR!

Thanks for the comment rbee25. I'm aware of that thread, as most people are. It's very long and easy to get lost in the many comments, plus it's in the 'Forced Induction Performance' thread- so as you said, a brief write up in the easy to find 'D.I.Y.' section was needed for beginners to use.
