  1. for a stock turbo a turbotech mbc is by far the best bang for buck boost control there is
  2. wind the actuator rod in to make it shorter for more boost or make it longer for less boost. keep a close eye on boost levels tho
  3. i know what it is.... like i said, it looks like your getting a small spike in boost
  4. the coolant temp sender? the one for the gauge or the ecu?
  5. looks like you get a small spike in boost then it drops off fairly quickly. either your set boost or gain in too high and your set isnt high enough if you want 1.2bar
  6. aslong as you disconnect the charger before turning the ignition on the ecu should be fine in the event of an overcharge
  7. write down all the settings in the profec so you can set it back anytime. then try running a little more gain, keeping an eye on inj duty obviously. if your not sure how to use the profec i can probably help you out if your local
  8. dam i forgot about mixture. your right, it has to be the o2 sensor if theres a mixture involved. i apologise for all the stupid advice, you were right all along
  9. its already been mentioned but you must have missed it so here it is in caps O2 SENSOR IS IGNORED UNDER FULL LOAD, it is only ever used under cruise loads and only when throttle and rpm are constant. what does the 100 refer to? units of awesome? as said several times, get rid of the mines ecu
  10. if your "tuner" thinks its the o2 sensor then tell him hes an idiot and find someone else
  11. mines ecu is just a remapped stocker, it will still do the same R+R when you get towards the end of the map, just not quiet as bad like you said. buy a real ecu and get it tuned, my pick would be nistune with a z32 ecu. and realistically, not many 25s make over 200rwkw with the standard turbo, usually around 180-200 depending on the dyno and other mods
  12. thousands of powerful turbo cars running around at 12:1 and leaner. how many of them melt down from it?
  13. sounds like its too rich already. turn the boost up and do a power run to make sure its safe.
  14. no, thats a temp sensor that brings up a light on the dash if the cat gets too hot afaik
  15. have it here somewhere if you wanna borrow it ideally the first bit of cooler pipe off the turbo would be a conical shape and get bigger at the same rate as the compressor outlet until you reach whatever size you need.
  16. is the oil light on? probably a dead gauge. the sensor is on the drivers side of the block
  17. standard 26 intake piping or custom?
  18. sounds like its right but worth checking anyway, the old screwdriver on the cylinder isnt always spot on, as theres few degrees where the piston doesnt really move. take 5 mins to pull off the top cover and turn it to TDC. not doubting you at all, just better to be certain than confident
  19. they've been doing it for months now. the bike cops are trying to make a name for themselves before they get axxed altogether. they always set up near the city somewhere on mitchell/kwinana
  20. did the mark on the bottom cover line up with the mark on the balancer aswell as the top marks?
  21. tried bypassing the solenoid and vacuum control tube?
