The teat costs 40bux i think it said in the letter; i will pop my compliance cat in and see if it passes right off the bat, maybe i can get my tacho recalibrated to register higher eg: 500rpm advance i will try to bribe them though as it has worked for me in the past at other places but hopefully it wont be needed, my zorst is just catback and quite chunky so i think it should be ok. To stop this happening in future ill have another hotdog or midmuffler installed asap. Might also pickup a db meter off ebay and see what it picks up, that way i can lend it out to anyone who wants to do a home test. -Johnny

Wow thanks for the responses guys, so 90db is the limit ey! I have a 3inch pipe; im counting on 2 turbos, a stock cat, mid muffler and rear muffler to be enough as i dont have a stock exhaust!!! might have to pick one up asap if i dont pass, then again gazza i may just slip him 100bux; cbf fucccckn round.

Hey guys, yesterday i got a letter in the mail saying that on 11th november someone noticed my car may have a too loud exhaust and i now must get a decibel test at an approved place to gain a certificate to send back to the EPA to avoid a fine. Now im glad its not a full EPA inspection but ive never heard of anything like this before; although it seems pretty straight forward. Has anyone ever gone through this process before? I hope i will pass considering my exhaust isnt very loud at all so i may just have to slip a 50 to the tester to pass me anyways lolz.

Hey blokes, i did a quick search and looked at the sticky thread but id just like to comfirm if there are any differences between the r32-r34 gtr transfer cases regarding which fluid to use; SAU recommmends castrol transmax Z but should i spend more and opt for the toyota v160 auto tranny fluid i used in the getrag? anyone here have an r34 gtr who has done a fluid change and not encountered any issues? id appreciate any help thankyou.

Have my R34 GTR Vspec 2 for sale, its in black with 24,000k on the clock; service books provided but their service intervals go up to 19k and stop there so probable odometer reading is a 40ish-k. The car is immaculate and tuned to perfection with new parts consisting of: Power FC tuned by CREATD motorsports Brand new HKS EVC version 6 Apexi power intake pods ARC diflection panel HKS Catcack Front pipe but stock dumps cusco brake stopper Nismo R-tune pads Nismo S-tune suspension Brand new rear diffuser as original had a crack in it. Nismo oil catch can with proper baffles Nismo twin plate coppermix clutch and light flywheel The car has had over 20hours of detailing so it looks great, washed in the sun. Serviced every 2000kms with either 300v ot 8100 motul;depending on weather condidtion. The car makes 255awkw on 1bar on boost and plenty of torque. Pics n dyno alot of pics can be found here and on the site but i can provide plenty more on request; any inspection welcome but no time wasters. Price: the last offer i got was 70k but decided not to sell, im still not sure if i want to sell but i will hand it away for 69k as i have not yet purchased the replacement Z-tune bonnet for the car. -Johnny

Hey guys, just wanna give a warning about the dangers of driving in heavy rain. Basically i was driving in heavy rain last night and taking off from a traffic light i changed into 2nd at about 4000rpm and without warning my car just glided all over the road, i actually ended up in the middle lane. This was a portion of tarmac with a few cm of water and it was very scary but i managed to keep calm and not slam of the brakes which would have probably made me spin or hit a gutter. Thankgod for ATTESSA which pulled me forward and not fishtail; I learned that 4 fat tyres and a few cm of water do not mix even when your driving carefully. GTS-T and GTT owners have to be much more careful and alert in the rain as id hate to see someones pride and joy damaged. Anyways just though id share this experience so people are aware of how dangerous rain can be. -Johnny

Was at a set of lights and along side i hear 'doof doof' so i just look straight ahead but I cant help but notice in my peripheries that the driver with his arm out the window was giving me 'the STARE' for about 10seconds mind you which is not comfortable for a heterosexual. Combination of bad management, bad product and bad employee's are the downfall of this company. They continue to produce large and expensive vehicles that consume plenty of fuel eg The new Hummer! is it really time to release high cost luxury vehicles at this time of bad credit. People cannot afford to buy one and if they did, they couldnt take out a loan. Plus the unions have GM by the balls so basically on average workers are getting 40bux an hour compared to the US BMW and nissan divisions in the south getting half that. See the UK car manufacturing division back in mid to late 1900's basically become extinct because simply people wanted too much money for their work and strikes were as common as eating. Bail out package for GM; just delaying the inevitable.

+1 to everyone with power FC's limiting the revs to 3500rpm and pulling out or hiding the controller. best thing about car tuners is that they are around performance cars so much that they generally wont feel the urge to thrash your car.
