I didnt know astra turbos look so nice, saw a black one with EVLSRI this morning in mill park finally got my epa cleared so i managed to put my new plates on [GTR-13]
  3. Yeah i was as shocked as anything! i always though that fish dont like to been seen from the top of the water during the day but hey the bloke caught 2 at the same time (they seem to travel in packs) gar fishing was a breeze, easier than i though, small hook though and the white fish was bought at a tackle store closeby (not whitebait, they look like albino tadpoles) This is during the day btw, so plentiful that they have an set amount u can take. ummm if you hook the garfish through the back, they dont die and continue to swim (for a few hours lolz) when i say say pier, it really extends out into the bay so dont get put off until you see it.
  4. ummm i decided to try bp ultimate instead of my usual vpower and there was no difference in performance/powerband etc oh and fuel economy was negligable, 10-20k difference a tank. i noticed my knocks went down about 4 spots but then again it was a cold night, im sticking to vpower or ultimate but im reluctant to try mobil/vortex
  5. Good lubricant is lifestyle lubricant, comes free in boxes of 12; if its good enough for little johnny, its good enough for the box. lolz na, ill vouch for the castrol tranzmax z though, i use it in my r34 gtr transfer case and it fantastic. For my gearbox i use v160
  6. Hey man, im so sorry to hear bout this it must have come as quite a shock. please look in your local paper, the free one that comes in the mail; i believe i saw an add for a specialist lawyer who deals with traffic offences and offers free consult to see if you have a case. 10 years is pathetic as we all know that the carbon paper they use for receits fade over a period of months, they dont last years unless you zip lock bag them... I now have a new found respect to keep the bloody parking ticket receits even a year after ive paid.
  7. Good luck with the fix man, id be leaning towards a leak from either a vacumn line or ic pipe as its happened to me before and has the same symptoms u describe.
  8. Off snapper point, during the day actually; basically use the float, tiny long shank hook and a type of white bait fish off a float to catch the gars then hook the gar through the back and again use a float. The kings will come to the surface, generally in packs and grab em.........watch the line screeeem so set the drag just right BTW were talking way over 40cm. On another note, i hate the pier.......grab a boat for real fishing; even 100meters off the shore will increase the chance of grabbing a snapper rather than a pinkie. Ummm for bream, yarra river near the burnley tunnel at the rivers bend at night is best for bream. Bait: yabbies are no1 or if you have access to low tide you can hunt for small mudcrabs in the rocks.
  9. Ahhh good old relaxing fishing. ummm a good spot is schnapper point in mornington peninusla.......just a right turn off nepean highway; its a looooong jetty which extends into the bay. fish caught there are garfish which you can use as live bait for kingfish, pinkies are plentiful during the season and you will always see plenty of squid/cuttlefish Pilchards are the best bait for snapper/pinkies by far if anyone is thinking of going. Bream is pretty much dead in the yarra/marribyrnong
  10. A looooong time, my oil temps reached almost 90degrees. Now normally i would say something but he could be a prick back and say oh its over 90dB.....now that would make my life much worse. Now booked back in to pop the race cat back in lolz.........im taking my anger out on the environment now :-P

Was at pancake parlour doncaster last night at about 12. parked next to a very nice silver r34 gtt with r33 gtr wheels; anyone on here? very nice choice in wheels i might add.
  12. Hmmm it was really weird man, i was quite excited at the drift filter with the magnet and locknut at the top for easy fitting and removal but the oil pressure thing really got to me......i hope that it was only a bad one but i dont want to risk my engine on trial and error filters which may be good or bad. Ive always bought heaps of drift gear in the past and everthing has broken: Gauges etc Just to say that its not just a misunderstanding, creatd ms even told me it took too long for the light to turn off. Im glad you've used over 75 now without issue but i just cant risk it again, knn or greddy for me in future.
  13. thanks for the clarification man.......soooooo how hard is it to believe that the new gtr with more power and better chassi could take 30seconds off the record. My god porsche is really pushing the bitching rights!!! they have nothing to prove, they make a great car Thats something strange that the r32 was slower than the 33........ummmm my though would be that the lighter 32 would post a faster time; just shows what some better technology can do huh!
  14. Hey, Finally got my test done today and passed at 87dB Quick rant: the mf at the exhaust shop tested my car 5times because he didnt believe the reading! he said it should be louder........now i was pissed at the fact that he held my car at 5100rpm for quite a while and 5 times.........he probably wanted to make more money out of me. Anyways the only thing i changed was the catalytic converter back to the compliance one, still have my 3.5inch s/s system on etc.
  15. can anyone tell me what time the original r32 gtr posted at the nurburgring??? wasnt it the first car into the 8minute mark (production car) Oh and my opinion about the slicks, well....even if they used slicks wouldnt that only be a 10second advantage?? so the 7.54 porsche tested would be 7.44? Still a long way off the 7.29...........ummmm then again, how much of an advantage are slicks or semi-slicks over a track like the ring??
  16. When i was chatting to creatd ms, they showed me a single setup using the 4088 on an rb26 which was built for a good street car so its not very laggy at all and makes a nice 400kw atw. Was considering this setup but for police hassle reasons im sticking to twins. If you watch that HKS r34 gtr on youtube that runs a 2.8litre stroker, it seems to need alot of revs to get going....but top end made tsuchya scream.
  17. Jst wanna say that 2-3days now and the oil pressure is perfect only a second after startup (even cold) compared to the drift filters 2-3seconds. Ill try knn and/or greddy next time as well, but until the ill stick with my 'coopers' for 7bux I know my car and the engine feels much more smooth when it wants to rev up..
  18. ^^^ ohh i see, its the sealant thats used. Interesting. looks like a spare set of gtr rims is the best bet
  19. Hey man, anything wrong with them??? I though it was a good idea, quite big like a hairspray can and says it seals the tyre so you can drive it to the petrol station and pump it up to the proper psi. Ummm i hope i dont have to use it but if im in a rut, it may be good enough.......my new thought is to buy a set of r32 gtr rims and keep one in my boot so i dotn have to use the stupid pizza cutter
  20. Yeah its for a vspec 2, came off mine. umm i looked it up on the impul site and its for exhaust, intake and boost increase.....safer tune and must be run on premium octane fuel.
  21. Hey i just wanna add some advice from experience: Used a drift filter in my gtr and on startup, the oil light takes 2-3seconds to turn off and for the oil pressure to ramp up. Changed to coopers filter and it takes less than 1 second to dissapear. end story, will never use drift products again!!!
  22. Amazing work!! love the engine colour, did you choose that or did it come with it?
  23. I have one but its an impul version, not sure if your interested.
  24. Jeeeezzz, i have one of those tyre sealant and inflator cans.........can only imagine what that would do to my interior.
