Ive been looking into a system to decrease intake temps as mine get quite hot on 25+ degree days; now thats either down to my intercooler having grease/oil in it making heat transfer less efficient or simply because turbo cars dont like warmer weather. this kit looks interesting but id say water/meth injection is much better as it can be used more frequently + its cheaper (depending on meth% to water etc) oh and its much more efficient as the spray for the intercooler will probably not cool all the fins where the injection is just in the throttle body. just my thoughts

There was a complete test done in serious performance 7 dvd i think. power wise the xr6 was much better but on the track the race drivers chose the r34 gtt (same thing as r33 gts-t) hands down. Must be manual though with minor mods and suspension work. The bigger and heavier xr6 will always be a family car pudding of a thing.

Put it this way.....Jeremy Clarkson (few years ago) named the r34 gtr as the 8th greatest car of all time "So exciting, even when its in a carwash" -JC Drove the new 350z and it was nowhere near as good as the gtr, no bias. Yeah mate same boat here, i have a power fc though and i think its something do do with fuel/ignition timing vs intake temps on startup? never sure but last 2 days its been hot and my car has taken a couple of attempts to start.....same in very cold-start conditions.

The newer model supras are a great car, in black they are hot!!

Hmm fair point, im going tomei but you know what sucks? the price has gone up for the gtr items; saw them a lil while ago for about 600ish now they are 1000 cos of the damn exchange rate. Hopefully there is some stock left in aus at a good price.

Quite fine to run it like that mate, i was running a s/s manifold and dump off my s15 a while ago for over a year. Heat wrap is the best idea but you already put the pipe on so would be a bit of a bugger to remove it again but ohhhh well, you gotta do what you gotta do! ???? keeping more heat in with wrap may increase the chance of s/s cracking; especially with poor quality welding and grade. Anyone have experience with this?

I was cruising it style last nite in a bloody excel after picking up a mates new black dc5....... omg anyone familiar with type r's; drove it last night and i now know what torque steer is.......also managed to recognise just how damn fast a gtr is compared to a honda..lmao This saturday there is a biiiiig cruise to great ocean road, meetup is at university hill carpark in da morning......cant wait, my gtr is all serviced and checked for a f*knnn great mountain road thrash!!!
