  1. Hey Tezza It was last night about 11:30pm and yep 7.1 but very deep just under 50km. Been 4 more shocks since then. I'm in Seoul at the moment and schools were shut down yesterday and kids sent home as rain with low level radiation came in from the SE from Japan.
  2. I've run both the Normal BCNR33 Super Coppermix; 471kw/640hp and now run the C spec and hardly any difference in pedal feel whatsoever. Just ever so slight more stiffer pedal feel but you can hardly notice the difference. Both feel like the stock clutch very, very easy to drive.
  3. No sunshine I'm not in Japan at the moment as I already told you when dealing with my car I was temporary relocating to Oz to give my wife the chance study english in Australia. Now I'm actually in Korea as my wife has a serious medical problem we have to sort out. I still own property in Japan, most of the things I own are still there, I go generally back every 6-8 weeks and have businesses still there, friends and my wifes relatives (Zainichi) are still there and basically keep Japan as my base and now have things set up so I can live between Australia and Japan and I'm in contact to Japan on a daily basis so reckon I fair idea of whats really going on. Since relocating to Oz last April for my wife to study english, I've probably spent close to 5 months of that back in Japan. In the 18 years of living and mainly doing business with the Japanese in Japan, I've never stooped to being a mindless wet nurse english teacher which is just a a piss poor excuse to drink piss, chase Japanese girls while getting paid basically for a working holiday. Sorry for paying out on english techers but I get so sick of morons that do a few trips to Japan, or do a few years teaching there and think the know all there is to know on Japan. I've lived the last 10years before heading down under full time in Japan, 7 more of those years, 3 months in 1-2 months of those in Indosnesia and back to Japan in and out 3 in 1-2 out and so on and so on. I've probably got a good 10 years more life experience than yourself and can tell you beyond any doubt I know a hell of a lot more about Japan and have experienced a very very different and dark but the true side of Japan that very few western foreigners would have or will never have seen the light of day. I have personally started and sold shares of 2 KK's (Kabushiki Kaisha's) in Japan in the days you needed 100k capital. Also still have businesses in Japan and in the process of setting up new import/export business with Japanese friends and soemone in OZ. I'm not putting tickets on myself, by the sound of your sarcasm it sounds like your questioning my ties to Japan so just explaining my connection to Japan. How many of the experts your quoting from are actually on the ground in Japan collating data ?? Most of the experts would not have a clue on how these companies lie and twist the truth and facts. Like I said, i personally know of one who is working for IAEA in Japan at present. When I talk to him he doesnt paint a very pretty picture. Why, because TEPCO will not let independent readings be done within the exclusion zone. They know that TEPCO are not telling the full story based on measurements they have but all they can do is advise the Japanese government which they did yesterday and this morning and have told the Japanese government that they need to extend the zone as the 20km zone is now classed at being at the level that the IAEA recommend for evacuation and being unsafe for humans. If you knew anything about business structure in Japan you would know the government is powerless to do anything with TEPCO bar TEPCO going into complete insolvency and I dont think that will happen in the near future based on they gross over 5,000 billion yen annually and net profit of over 138 billion yen annually. The cost of recovery for Japan after the earthquake and tsunami is going to cost around the 300 billion yen plus mark. TEPCO make that in less than 2.5 years. The government can not do jack unless TEPCO fold period. Any idiot quoting TEPCO as gospell needs their head read as they are the biggest liars bar the or Japanese Ministry or departments have had cover up after cover up throughout their history. Have you dealt with Japanese Government officials before ?? If you knew how these guys and the government worked and how corrupt and what they have done in the past, you would not be so confident everything is so hunky dory. For f$%k sake ,TEPCO didn't even have enough dosimeters for their workers until today. Also in regards to the workers These guys were asked to volunteer for a possible suicide mission. They are supposedly not expected to survive for any real length of time due to the amount of continual high exposure they will have to radiation. The IAEA have told the Japanese government that they need to extend the zone as the 20km zone is now classed as unsafe for humans. These warnings are from readings taken from the air in the area and not ground samples in the area. If you had half an idea of how dodgy these power stations are like you wouldnt be so smart to think all is ok. You ever gone and checked out what factories and the alike power stations pump out into the ocean in Japan ? You would be in for a rude shock. Also I don't base anything just off the mainstream media, I read and watch the Japanese news as well, you know, the one thats in Japanese but only use that as a guide due to the fact they are forced by the government to censor their news so yes I look at all aspects but try stay in touch with people I know on the ground who actually know whats going on. As for buying tickets to Japan in July for your family well whoop dee doo and you got a deal..shit Jetstar have been doing deals to & from there ever since they started flying to Japan Myself be back over there in a few weeks sorting some business out and checking on friends who are using my house as temporary accommodation as they and like many others have left areas nearby f*kushima not beacause of the hype but because they have kids and know the whole truth isnt being told. I'll be doing quick trip back to Oz for a few weeks then back to Japan mid to late May for a couple of months. Also got tickets sorted for August for Obon and another 2 months in Sept & Oct and again for December. The Japanese people I know who have left the area also know even with current doses of radioactivity being classed as low risk its the continual cumulative exposure which is the silent killer. Different story if the reactor was under control and no more radiation was leaking but this is a weeping sore that keeps leaking and leaking radiation on a daily basis and the ones it affects first and easiest are young kids and the foetus of pregnant women. If you read my original post you will see I said in a worst case scenario, I didn't say it was actually going to happen but with things seemingly escalating week by week and the Dai Ichi Nuclear plant problem looking at going on for quite some and still problems at Dai NI it doesnt look like it will get better anytime soon. I'm not panicking. just being a realist. So far the whole scenario has been extremely luck due to the late winter weather patterns and the continual West and North West jet stream but this is about to change soon with spring patterns starting to form and warmer currents in the sea starting to push up from SE Asia over the coming months. This will bring more and more onshore weather systems plus the yearly rain systems to Honshu which will if the radiation is not stopped, help spread it further and further throughout Japan. Main thing now is to hope they get some control over whats going on and bring it to an end. And your point about iron ore...the first week after the earthquake when the Japanese stock market took a battering I bought heap of stock in Japanese steel companies. Did not take a rocket scientist to figure there will be large gains on that one. Writing was already on the wall as it already happened before with the Kobe earthquake. So keep your sarcasm to yourself ok. You have something you want to say, you have my number. Sorry but I actually take offense that your inferring what I say is load of crap. I take that as an insult to my integrity. Actually I'd say I'm quite pi#$ed off. Like I've said, I've seen and been involved with a very different side of Japan that hardly any western foreigners are exposed to and know how things really do work there. As for using South Korea as an example what makes you qualified on them ?? Here say and innuendo ?? Have you had any experience there ?? Do you even know that there has been low level radiation discovered all over the country. You think its propaganda crap ?? South Korea has so far donated more finacial help to Japan than any other nation world wide. Honestly, you haven't a clue. and if you think I'm just going to sit back and accept your crap and sarcasm then think again.
  4. You really think you know whats going on sitting in safe old Adelaide. Mate its a lot more serious than you think. You can think the spin doctors are weaving their magic but I'm in touch daily with Japanese business partners, friends and academics (cousin is there from France working with the IAEA) who are involved with the problem and it aint all sunny in the rising sun. A lot of misinformation being pumped out to the Japanese to keep things all calm but with plutonium being found over 40km's from the site, a bucket load of crap drifting around in the ocean and more and more higher levels being found, thinking that a few radioactive dust particles is all sweet is like walking around with your head up where the sun dont shine. Kristian your choice to believe whatever is your choice..thinking its a load of crap ..well its its as crap as my car sitting in the garage with the mindf#$k to get it registered.
  5. Yep I do..I just recently got bent over and shafted. If and I mean if it the nuclear situation really does get worse, ships wont be allowed into some countries. Theres been a lot of talk on the news here in Korea tonight. If ships are carrying contaminated goods theres bugger all chance Oz government will let them in especially when some of the radioactive particles have a 30 year life span. Thats a worse case scenario but there's definitely a few rumblings about.
  6. Because straight after the tsunami Japanese insurance companies began liquidating foreign investments and capital on a major scale to get yen back into the country for the rebuilding and payout process. The Japanese stock market crashed quite significantly and this made the strength of the yen go up substantially with the Oz dollar trading in the high 77's at one stage. If it wasnt for the G7 monitoring the yen and the Japanese government and Japan bank pouring 100's of billions of yen back into the system then the oz dollar and other currencies would not have rebounded back against the yen and the yen would be quite high right now. Similar thing happened with the Kobe earthquake. Most of the money I earn is yen so was quite happy to see it rise. There would have been some big money gains made on the market during the first week after the earthquake. If the nuclear problem gets even more out of hand expect to see more fluctuations. I saw on the Japanese news today that container ships arriving in China , Russia and South Korea were contaminated with radiation which could see countries placing a ban on shipping from Japan for awhile.
  7. Yep its not good at all Terry. Prime Minister Kan has issued a maximum alert regarding the nuclear disaster..only took a couple of weeks.. I'm in Korea at the moment and Seoul and 5 other places around Korea have all had higher than normal radiation readings found today. Personally I think its North Korea letting a bit go so they can blame the Japanese. But in all seriousness the way the Japanese government and TEPCO have handled the situation is atrocious. I just wish the Japanese had more common sense and realise they are being duped and its their health and well being at risk.
  8. Hey Brad could you translate these.. きえうせる くそばかやろ ふっざっけなよ むこう行け!! ちぴたま けつのあな Get the point.
  9. Loach check the Japan news tonight.. Levels now are now 10,000,000 times above normal operating levels in number 2 reactor... Radioactivity in the air in No. 2 measured at 1,000 millisieverts per hour - four times higher than the occupational limit of 250 millisieverts set by the government. Chief Cabinet Secretary Yukio Edano, said the radioactive water is “almost certainly” seeping from a reactor core. Adding to woes is the increasing level of contamination in the sea near the plant. Radioactive iodine-131 at a concentration 1,850 times the legal limit was detected from water extracted Saturday, compared with the 1,250.8 times the limit found Friday. No, no problems at all... And the classic statement yesterday was people were told not to worry about the levels in the sea water as they will impose a 20-30km ban on fishing and plus the government said they dont really source much fish for consumption from that area. Jeez I'm glad the sea life that gets contaminated will stay in that area and not migrate to other areas let alone other countries...I mean how stupid can they be... I shouldnt really have to ask that question as already know well and truly the muppett mentality.
  10. And now the Japanese government has asked residents in the 30km zone to leave on their own accord if possible to safer areas of Japan. It gets worse..the 3 workers affected by the radiated water are not from TEPCO but another company that handles the electrical installations. They were not wearing long protective boots because water in that area wasnt in their safety manual. This is the type of thinking that has been going on with this disaster since it started...honestly a bunch of useless muppets
  11. Japan currency wont get higher as the Japan Bank has poured billions of yen in to stop this happening. If they hadnt you would have probably seen the Aussie dollar in the very low 70's if not lower and same for the US dollar against the yen right now.

    Daikoku

The thing with Daikoku you never know when its going to go off but generally friday & saturday night will guarantee you a good mix of cars, boom box vans & bosozoku. Cops can spoil the party and shut the place down but everyone just moves on to different car park areas around Tokyo and Yokohama but seeing its still quite cold for this time of year they are not so keen.

    Daikoku

Borrow a push bike. Without a car its a mission to get out there. You will have to find nearest train station and taxi it from there. Keep in mind trains dont run all night and usually last train is around 11:30pm. Miss that and you will have a long walk home. You could stay around Yokohama city area and be closer to Daikoku and within taxi range. If your getting taxi you want to tell them you want to go to Daikoku PA and book the taxi to come back.
  14. Have a suss on TEPCO's company profile page and do the maths on their annual sales turnover just for 2009 and you'll understand why these guys lie through their teeth. You'll need a calculator with a lot of zero's to convert to Aussie dollars. Even their net income in 2009 was over 16billion dollars and I guarantee you its probably 3 fold that as most companies in Japan run dodgy books. Their customer base are is huge and with a hell of a lot of factories, high rises etc etc etc you can see why they would be keen for the problems at f*kushima to be kept at a low key level. 01-e(3).pdf Today on the Japanese news they are saying the workers are suffering from burns, skin peeling off and some losing hair. No no radiation levels arent dangerous... And then today they are saying the radiation found in the water that the workers stepped in is 10,000 times above the safe limit. And Terry hit the nail on the head with the future generations baring the scars of this all mighty f#$kup!!

    You'll need a car
  16. Yep and Koizumisan had big underground backing from the Yaks.. Loach if you want to go snowboarding then go to Hokkaido. No problems with radiation, water is from natural springs and wind rarely blows from the south this time of year and if it does not for long.
  17. Anyone who thinks the Japanese government, Tepco and alike are giving true information to the so called world nuclear experts have absolutely NFI an have had there heads so far up their are they havent seen daylight since the dark ages, Japans bureaucracy is based on lies and deceit and unless you have lived there for some substantial time you would not have a clue. So called western nuclear experts are basing their assumptions on the paperwork and statistics they have in front of them. Not on the aging decrepit state of the power plant, not on the many radioactive accidents there have been at the plant and covered up. Even the IAEA can not get clear info on whats going on and keep getting a misnomer of misinformation. Rewind a bit and go back to the first day of the first explosion... Japanese government stated that there had been no explosion.. Really then what the f#$k was that all over the internet. Japanese government back pedaled and said yes there had been an explosion but no radiation leaks. Next day boom no 2 Again Tepco and the government said..no need for concern as all under control. Next day boom no 3 and now theres a statement issued that minor radiation has been measured which was complete bullshit. Next the Japanese government issued an sos to the UN & USA for help. Go forward a few days and they were spinning crap that 3-km zone was safe and dont worry. No radiation will get to Tokyo. So now to where we are today.. Contaminated water in Tokyo and 24 wards of Toyo's water supply that is unsafe for infants to drink. Over 20 different types of vegetables are on the list of do not eat as have been contaminated. Levels of radiation which are way over safe limit to infants have now been found in an area of 70km zone of f*kushima Dai ichi. So how f#$ked are the kids in the 30km zone. Extremely high levels of radiation found in the ocean off f*kushima. If you want to believe the crap that comes out of these ars#holes mouth then join the line of the ignorant. This is only the start of what will come from their deceit. Keep in mind its the very young and unborn who suffer the easiest from radiation and the long term affects. You dont need big doses to mutate cells. We wont see the true depth of this until many years later and even then things will be covered up with medical records falsified etc etc... Dont believe me then do a bit of a google search and have a look of the history of some of the massive cover ups the Japanese government and Tepco have been involved in. I have lots of Japanese friends and business people who have now lost complete faith in the Government and dont believe their lies and and have packed up and gone which is extremely difficult for the Japanese to do. Its in their psyche to gambatte (carry on) in all faces of adversity. For them to leave goes against everything they have been indoctrinated to about the Japanese way, WA 和 and how a good Japanese robot should be but at least they can now see they have been lied to and are getting out before its too late. there is a lot of anger , unrest and resentment in Japan right now. No there wont be a big nuclear explosion , just a weeping pusshole of silent toxic low or high level radiation and a bunch of lying pr#$ks that will keep saying everything is ok.. Big question now is wheres the boss of Tepco. One pissweak tv apology over a week ago. Even the Prime Minister cant get this guy to give him info. Why..?? because he is filthy rich and does what he wants. Hopefully guilt will get to him too much and he does the honorable thing and tops himself off.
  18. Knowing the Japanese it will be on no problem unless Tokyo starts to glow in the dark at night.
  19. Its a one off by a guy called Kazuhiko Hachiya to explain to the Japanese kids whats going on. But the thing is its probably the best way most adults there would understand.
  20. This is how the nuclear situation is being explained to the Japanese... Nuclear Boy ! (a shit or a fart)
  21. Price and the state of the Japanese economy and the lack of disposable income the average Japanese has these days. You got to keep in mind that foreign sales only make up a small part of their sales. ARC basically got under cut in an affordable price in their domestic market.
  22. Guys I've had to head overseas due to family emergency. Not sure how long I'll be so for time being all parts are on hold until I know when I'll be back in Oz. I'll pm guys who sent me pm's asap. If any of the mods see this can they close this thread.
  23. Another one bites the dust ..!!!! C-ONE has filed for bankruptcy around same time as ARC,Zero Sports & Superior Auto Creative.
