Nismo C-spec no difference in pedal feel its just the clamp load . I've had both the standard Super Coppertwin and the C-spec. You can upgrade the standard Super Coppertwin to the C-spec by buying C-spec outer cover at a later date if you want.

R32 Gtr Gear Box
elrodeo666 replied to gear box Maddy's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Good you sold it as the old boxes input shaft was pretty fragile. Still ok for general street and track but hard launches they snapped fairly easily. Uprated ones he does now handle more power but still best is the OS/AGY combo. I love driving the AGY boxes just they just shift so nice. -
Nismo Festival @ Fuji speedway on Sunday 4/12/11 Festival site will be up 10th September and tickets on sale usually start of November. http://www.nismo.co....ion/110005.html

Put it off a month and you'll be rocking in around Nismo festival time and if you time it right also Rev Speed time attack at Tsukuba. Nismo festival will be on 4th December at Fuji Speedway. Revspeed is usually the following Friday. Nismo festival link translated : http://translate.google.com/translate?js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&layout=2&eotf=1&sl=ja&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nismo.co.jp%2Fnews_list%2F2011%2Fevent_information%2F110005.html&act=url Tokyo is good base as easy to get to and fro plus yep plenty of bright lights, people and plenty of old Japan about to keep you busy. Getting to Nismo Festival and Tsukuba can be done by public transport but your way better off hiring a car, for a week you can get a little K car for under 4000yen a day. Also Jetstar just put up Japan ticket sale today ..tickets starting at $299 each way. I'm actually looking at setting up a 7 day tour around that time with workshop tours , Rev Speed day, Nismo Festival Day, some cultural tourism and couple of nights at at some friends Japanese bars and clubs. I'll be posting up some more info regarding all this next middle of next month. Hope this all helps..

Nismo Gt500 Rrr Engine Block
elrodeo666 replied to elrodeo666's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
No probs mate. Keep in mind that the price is for the block delivered to Oz. Buying in Japan and paying in yen I'm happy to negotiate within reason. I can help organise any building in Japan and freight back to Australia if need be. -
R32 Gtr Gear Box
elrodeo666 replied to gear box Maddy's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I doubt it more so that the owner Koizumi is a bit of a grump at the best of times and wouldnt want to stuff around with anything thats not in Japan. Richard these have lunched in high power street / circuit cars in Japan launching hard. One was just over 680hp. I've personally seen 2 shafts snapped thats why went the OS shaft. Most people in the know in Japan wont use the shaft if chasing over 650 at atw and go uprated OS shaft. Costs a lot less to build new box when your earning yen. By the way where did you get your AGY/OS box from ? -

elrodeo666 replied to gear box Maddy's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Input shaft is only good for 800hp max if your lucky and if you dont baby it, it will snap ! I know of quite a few street and race cars that have had this and have snapped the input shaft launching it. It is not designed for drag launches but strictly circuit and street driving!! It is definitely not a drag option box. But it shifts smooth as silk on the track or street compared to a box with just an OS set. I have a combo box of the OS gearsets, OS uprated input shaft and AGY double con still sitting in my house in Japan and another box getting built as a spare. AGY have designed an uprated input shaft but still OS is stronger. -
Is that $525 each or a pair ?

The guy in the link below spent over $5,500 alone in Pro Bolt fittings. http://www.japo-motorsport.de/motorsport/r34-gtr.html It can be addictive and expensive !!

No probs.. If our keen on buying in Japan I'll take yen or $ doenst bother me. And like I said I can organise building at any workshop in Japan or can organise parts as well. I also have a head that will go extremely well with this block, just needs race port and polish done. -
Classic !! Old mate probably had been driving around all morning like that.

Mate the english one is pretty similar to the ping pong manual. Lots of notes but basically the same. Turn full clockwise to hardest setting first. More than likely its already set like this from factory. Then turn anticlockwise to soften. One full turn it 8 clicks. Shocks have 16 settings and the 17 you can see is not over tighten past the 16th setting to say 1 clicks etc. continually doing so may damage the shock. Use only the 1-16 settings. So basically set at hardest setting then back off to standard setting then adjust to desired setting. Also says to send me a beer

Well sort of Terry but the majority just dont believe its that bad. Japanese have the old ostrich syndrome in that bury the head in the ground and hope the bad thing goes away. I've just been back bouncing in and out of Japan and Korea for the last 5 months and was all over Japan and can tell you if you give a damn about yourself its not that easy over there. Buying food is a mission as you dont want to touch anything from f*kushima,Ibiraki areas. I made sure everything I bought and ate was from as far away from any affected areas. Its just the tip of the iceberg over there at present with contaminated meat, vegetables and now up to half of Japans rice harvest being checked for radiation. I just ate food that was from Hokkaido only or imported Aussie beef. I have some mates that are Japanese commercial fisherman on the pacific side of Chiba and they wont touch anything they catch. They are the younger generation with young families and have traveled and are a bit worldly and have their heads screwed on. They at least realise that its an invisible killer and definitely worried about the affects on their kids. There was a good article a few days ago saying that Tepco knew exactly how high the levels were that was spewing out including when they did control releases which they said were low which have now been found to be insanely high. I think you will find all sorts of lies and deceit that will come to air especially now that number 6 Prime Minister in about as many years is about to hit the eject button. I'm back there in a few weeks time working on a project for building temp accomo for families affected and already sending a decent supply of munchies from oz for the time I'll be back. Its definitely safe to travel in Japan at present but definitely you want to be wary of what you eat and drink. I found beer was a very good supplement.

Had one of these and a GT Legacy a few years ago in Japan. Heavy foot and they chew through gas like nothing else.

Injured Abdominal Muscle Recommendations?
elrodeo666 replied to *LOACH*'s topic in Health & Wellbeing
Loach whatever you do under no circumstances never ever, I repeat never ever have any surgery in Japan. Doctors are knife happy and will cut you first chance they get. I can tell you horror stories of botched operation after operation. Mate just rest up hit a decent acupuncturist and maybe a bit of light work in the pool. Try get some Arnica, rub it in an wrap glad wrap around the injury before going to bed..Sounds crazy but helps speed up the recovery. Your abs are used for core bracing and too easy to stress out an injury. Rest and get back into training slowly..if it hurts then stop. If it keeps hurting look at grabbing a cheap Jetstar ticket home for a quick holiday and visit to the quack.
