  1. Punch these japanese address into google maps and hit the get directions and then train and you'll get trains from tokyo station to them JUN Head Office Tokyo : 〒177-0051 東京都練馬区関町北3-1-7 Ph: 03-3920-4165 JUN Machine shop Saitama : 〒358-0032 埼玉県入間市狭山ヶ原松原102-1 BLITZ : 〒202-0023 東京都西東京市新町4-7-6 Ph: 0422-60-0033 M SPEED : 〒630-8115 奈良県奈良市大宮町6-3-29 Ph : 0742-35-3000 Events Tokyo D1 GP http://www.d1gp.com/ Honestly if I was you I'd work out where I want to go and rent a car. You can get a Cube for 5,500yen a day with english gps then just punch in the phone numbers and Bobs your uncle. You'll be able to hit more places with a car plus do Daikoku etc.
  2. Keep em coming Terry. My misso and I were going through these last night and in regards to the Temples then and now there are only very subtle differences to then and now. New paving/paths a coat of paint and the tent stalls at Asakusa are now permanent fixtures and where the homeless go to sleep at night. When you look at the difference in time from then to now in comparison to the hundreds of years those temples have been around , 30 odd years is just a blink of an eye.
  3. I got Rips in NZ to make mine up..Not cheap but I still earn Japanese yen and got it made up when the Oz & NZ dollars were worth pesos during the GFC.
  4. Yahoo Japan Auctions...always sets on there. Just have to keep an eye on it for ones that come up at the right price.
  5. Basically comes down to how small or large is your budget. You can stay in Tokyo area for as little as ¥3,600 a night for a business hotel or up to ¥100,000 for pimping hotel. If your on a budget and just need a place to crash business hotels are the go. Often some sort of breakfast is thrown in, its edible but I'd be buying a few extras from convenience store for snacks. They have the basics..TV ,Internet , Bed , Shower,Toilet and just enough room to swing a cat. Car rental you can pick up from ¥5000 a day for a small K car and upwards from there. You'll just need an International licence and your passport. Jan/Feb is a good time as if you time it right you have Tokyo Auto Salon, HKS Premium Day, Osaka Messe and there should be a few drift events on as well. Japan's summer is the best time if your there to chase candy..and there's plenty of it on tap.
  6. Yeah Loach houses, land, apartments are all in cheap in Hokkaido. Pretty much cheap all over Japan. I think housing / land prices are running at an either 17 or 18 year record low with each year getting lower and lower. There are many investment opportunities out there and buying property in Japan is 1) user friendly on the hip pocket and 2) very easy to obtain as a foreigner. I bought into Niseko quite a few years ago when it was a quiet little town and picked up my place cheap as chips and its now worth very good coin. There are some great investment opportunities for a low capital investment if you know what your looking for. Yokohama...I love staying there, plenty of good restaurants, bars ,live venues, women, clubs plus great car scene. Definitely worth you having a look. I'll have more pics up tomorrow
  7. Hey Paul Thing is I had major head work done on my engine and all done off HKS race specs. I'll flick you some pics of that head next day or so which has same port/polish as the one one my engine.
  8. Thats the problem with Nissan Japan, they usually dont have stock or very limited stock. I'm not worried on the wait as ordered some other parts and yes they are not in stock either. That price you can get is still way better than Nissan Oz even including EMS. $120 EACH !! Screw that
  9. Yeah Loach been up to Hokkaido to do annual big snow clear of my house and yep theres beeb some cold days this winter..down to -27c in some parts. January was some solid dumps in Hokkas but that wind at Fuji last sunday just ripped through you. Down in Yokohama and heading out with some friends into china town for a bit of chinese new year celebrations and a good feed, music and beer. I'll post some more pics next couple of days
  10. Bloke they are even cheaper than that. I ordered up a set here from Nissan Japan ...3,700yen the pair. Only drama is they are back order until mid to late March
  11. Yep it was open to the public..great day just bloody freezing.
  12. There was a Time Attack and High speed run for the 35's. In the first session the HKS 35 ran just over 311 kph down the main straight of Fuji. Top Secret ran around 303 KPH. I was talking to a mate from HKS and he said on the Saturday practice they ran just over 320 KPH !! More later .................
  13. Ok more... SMOKEY CHECKING OUT THE NEW 1000HP HKS GTR.. HKS GO FAST PARTS !!

  16. Was a bloody good day but freezing !! -4c overnight and didnt feel like it got much over 2-5c during the day but the wind was freezing. Have quite a few pics but will try post a few each couple of days..
  17. Nope its a HKS 2.8. Probably just the angle of the photo I took. I know the owner of the car in Japan and he has mint 32,33,this 34 and another and a 35. Too much coin !!
  18. Thats pretty bloody cheap, do you have a link to that ??
  19. A lot !! Standard idle feeling, boost on quicker and at lower rpm. Can run laggy turbo / turbo's setup and lose the lag. Its a shame theres not more being used in Oz. Driven this setup a few times now and its response and power is bloody awesome.
  20. I'm thoroughly enjoying your pictures on Japan. I've got friends that have been living there for 30 plus years (yes they have had labotomy's) so really good to see how it was then. I've lived there almost 10 years and honestly places still look the same.
  21. Thanks Terry.. By the way , I'm thoroughly enjoying your pictures on Japan. I've got friends that have been living there for 30 plus years (yes they have had labotomy's) so really good to see how it was then. I've lived there almost 10 years and honestly places still look the same.
  22. Thanks mate I've actually got 100's more from this year and last year and cars from around the car parks but been too lazy to post up. I'll pull my finger out and throw up some more.
  23. Sorry mate I couldnt resist
  24. No problems, nice thought.. Just know where he lives in relation to Tokyo and trying to find another gaijin at Auto Salon, well you know for yourself, the place is full of them. And yeah the carbon on the Top Secret 35 is very nice. Got to go through their car a few weeks ago.
  25. Off the top of my head I'm pretty sure they used the factory CAS although they basically rewired the entire ignition system and ran 3 separate earth leads to ground points throughout the car. Factory airbox.... Nope its got pods and all HKS piping
