  1. Saw a silver s2 C34 parked on Canley Vale Road today in Canley Vale, and I left an SAU-NSW business card on it.
  2. Vote 11ty for bent valves - like others have stated, if you've turned the crank with the belt off, then because the valves stay in position, then it's a fair chance that there was contact between the moving piston and the valve which is still in it's original spot. Also, while the head is off, check the pistons in the affected cylinder to make sure there's no damage from contact with the valves. It's not likely, but it's better to check and know for sure than put it all back together and still have issues.
  3. Oh, another thing, Anna: sometimes the road is a council responsibility, and sometimes it's an RTA responsibility - find out who's responsible for that stretch of road and keep the pressure on!
  4. Actually, I think this might have been Andy65b.
  5. Just spotted another Stagea tonight, this time a gold M35 AR-X, on Frederick Street crossing Parramatta Road in Five Dock.
  6. Spotted a white s2 C34 on King Street in Newtown around 7.30pm...
  7. No, it's "Not Relating to Motorists Anymore." (Yes, I know "anymore" is really two words, but this is the interwebs, and bad spelling and grammar seems to be a pre-requisite.)
  8. WTF??? Is that a house or some other kind of residence in the middle there, Sam? How do people access it? I can't see any sign of where a road or path would go from this shot.
  9. C'mon people! Andy (x11ty - how many Andrew's does one section of this forum need???), Craig, Alex, Iain, Daleo, Luke and Kacey, Brendan and Ana, etc.
  10. I've got the same size tyres as yours, Pete, but on 18x8 wheels (as opposed to the 18x9's on the R34 GTR). My speedo is almost dead accurate.
  11. Really, Micah? Agreed, the tuner should be the biggest factor in the equation (assuming that the computer suits the car in the first place). My car is going in to Unigroup next week for a PowerFC retune and clutch change, and Yavuz is an incredibly down-to-earth guy who won't bullsh!t to you about what your car needs. He's got the backing of quite a few people here in Sydney, and justifiably so!
  12. Dude, the FIRST thing you should do is get your alarm/immobilser sorted out! No use planning mods for a car that's been stolen...
  13. BUMP!!! Let's see how the dates are looking - any more takers now that our NSW contingent is growing?
  14. So, where are the rest of you???
  15. I don't think Yavuz is actually on the forums, Drew, but as Dave and many others say, he is a legend and will look after you. My car should be going in there next week to sort out a few issues and get the clutch changed.
  16. That makes absolutely NO sense at all.
  17. For those asking how much lower the GT-R seats are compared to the factory Stagea seats (at their lowest position), here's a photo from when I was swapping mine over: Mind you, I always had my Stagea seat cushions set at their lowest position both front and rear.
  18. OK peoples, as Stephen (Bis-e Bee) noted in this thread, not many people venture outside of the Stagea section to see what's going on in the general Skylines Australia community. Here in NSW, we've got a few great events coming up that it'd be nice to have more of you along at, so here are the details. We have one SAU-NSW exclusive event so far (if you're not yet a member, check my signature for the membership details and a form): * August Social event (if you're not a member, you won't be able to access this thread, by the way). General SAU events for NSW are as follows: * SAU-NSW Texikhana - Sunday the 5th of September, Nirimba TAFE grounds (near Blacktown). Come along to one of THE cheapest driving events around, just $45 for SAU-NSW members, or $60 for non-members. * the 21st birthday of the R32 GT-R - a cruise, followed by a showing of the highlights of the 1992 Bathurst win. This is just $15, and includes a contribution of a donation to the Children's Hospital at Westmead.
  19. I spotted a knob in a lowered silver R32 GTSt tailgating everyone along the M5 heading towards the airport last night around 6pm. Was driving like a douche.
  20. Agreed with Matt and Sidd, Eric - those are some awesome shots!!!
  21. Enough whinging from EVERYONE about this boost gauge or temp bannings will be handed out. If a dud product is sold, take it up with the seller and see if you can have it sorted out. Future posts on this subject will be treated as if you're slagging a business on here...
  22. LOL, awesome idea!
