  1. Spotted a white R33 s2 GTSt following me up Old Bathurst Road tonight around 7.15 to 7.30pm in Blaxland. No idea who it was, though, but I was in my LOLvo.
  2. Good to hear, John! Shame it was such a hassle to get sorted, but hopefully the results will be worth it.
  3. Hmm, I live VERY close by to that, but I don't remember what I did on Tuesday - what time was this?
  4. Speakers are 6" (or 6.25", but for all intents and purposes, they're the same thing), front and rear. Some Stageas came with splits in the front, and the tweeters are under a little grill at the bottom of the A-pillar.
  5. I'm guessing the cost of compliance would depend less on the state it was done and more on what each company thinks is reasonable to cover their costs...
  6. LOL @ "accidentally" bought new wheels...
  7. It's already July, but these were taken very late in June, so I'll link them to this thread. I attended and helped out at a magazine launch and between doing a couple of shifts working the door I took the opportunity to snap off some photos. Here are my favourites from the night. Oh, the magazine is PAN magazine, by the way - arts, culture, fashion, music, literature, etc. The venue - The Red Rattler in Marrickville: One of the artworks on display and for sale to help fund the launch of the magazine - it's a recreation of a ribcage and organs set inside a light bulb: Taken from the side of the stage: The drummer and bassist from "The Holy Soul:" Singer/guitarist and bassist: Their other guitarist (this was snapped between the front speaker stack and a set of curtains just behind them to the side of the stage): Another one from that same spot (obviously the focus wasn't quite right, but it was taken in a hurry as the singer swayed back and forth):
  8. Tried that a few times, Shell. Even though it was a few days ago that I first tried, it still comes up with "You already voted on this Poll today." on it.
  9. Nice! I love the photo with the blue Zed in it!
  10. It's all good - if you genuinely didn't know the history of that particular car, then it's understandable. But yeah, it is a pretty sad story regarding the history of what happened... To be honest, having a "best of SAU" would be pretty hard, because everyone will have a different idea of what constitutes the "best"car in their opinion.
  11. As Kory has said, you'll need something like Adobe's Camera RAW (in Photoshop), Lightroom or Bridge. You might actually find that you'll get better results editing your RAW files instead of .jpegs, and when you edit a .raw file the editing data is saved in a separate file, instead of as an amendment to the original .raw file. That means you'll always have the original available to you.
  12. 14th of June??? That was over 2 weeks ago... Let me know if you need the date amended for correction.
  13. Spotted StageIan this afternoon at around 2.40PM, turning into his street. I was three cars behind on my way out to an SAU-NSW Exec. meeting.
  14. That's probably due to the extra stretch your tyres have made to go over the 9.5"rims, as I have exactly the same size tyres on my car, but on 18x8" rims, and it's only aout 1km/h out. My PowerFC is way off both the speedo and actual real-time speed my car is travelling at.
  15. As Eric has pointed out, we're hoping to have at least one "pro" photographer on the day, and everyone is welcome to have their friends taking shots as well, but there will be ABSOLUTELY NO ALLOWANCE for passengers to carry hand-held still or video cameras while a car is out on the track. It's a safety (and hence insurance) risk that we are not prepared to take. Oh, I'll most likely have my camera out there on the day too.
  16. Already voted - it hasn't even been open for that long, and they're already trying to shut it down. I'd hate to have been the person who'd invested a fair chunk of money into something like this (and something POSITIVE for the driving enthusiast community, at that), and now be under threat of it being closed...
  17. I think they're from Dolphin - got them thru Import Monster with a set of clear side units as well. Total came to around $200 delivered.
  18. There are a few spelling and grammatical mistakes, but I notice these things because I'm pedantic about it - sorry dude! Oh, with the photos displaying large, do you have the option to click on one side of the photo to advance forwards and backwards (like on RedBubble), or not? Otherwise, it looks pretty good!
  19. Pics posted in the "What have you done to your Stagea today" thread.
  20. I just spotted a silver R33 GTSt on Dunmore Street in Pendle Hill (rego BMX66F) and a wine red R32 GTR with R33 GTR wheels parked opposite the pub (alongside the railway station) on Wentworth Avenue in Pendle Hill.
  21. Never mind, Duncan, I got mine today! Got a set of clear sides and the LED fronts too...
  22. LOL, which one?
