  1. Ooooo. Thinking about a precision Dave?
  2. Why not get a proper tune done. You know your current issues you have with it. Having the timing retarded so it doesn't knock uptop or however you have it set up won't be helping anything.
  3. I think it depends on the sort of driving you do. Guys that do the 'on/off/on' driving IE hillclimbs, skid pan work and track work will always favour the small stuff. Steveo overlayed a 2.6 with SS's and my 2.8 with 5's and down low they were pretty much the same. Top end, well we know what happened. 2.6 with -5's is still lethargic, however peoples definitions of being lazy/lethargic/laggy are all different.
  4. Budget? Use of car? Power? Turbo setup? RB26 or RB30 based engine?
  5. I'd say about 2 weeks. Engine is needed
  6. This x a million! I'd you're not after more than 800 HP, this IS the clutch to buy. Those who have one understand!
  7. Drop it Down 20 degrees... And the rest!
  8. 288. Jesus Christ. Gonna spin it to 11,000 rpm?
  9. Half story Jez! CEA? How was the curve? Specs of engine? Get technical!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Can fit atleast 16 launches in that
  11. When his surge tank is ready. Will be soon When is he building a gearbox? About 6.7 kms after he gets it back
  12. Not exactly the turbo's fault with the little 5's trying to blow out of that man.
  13. Any "up, down, up's" in size in the exhaust? Cam timing? Tired engine?
  14. From personal experience, that "OMG, your filter is gonna clog up with 10 kg worth of shit by the time you drive around the block" is rubbish. I ran mine for 6 months and had a look at it and both filters were clean as.
  15. Hi guys, I'm after a full set (24) of standard RB26 buckets in excellent condition. Cheers Paul
  16. Depends on the setup. There was about 25 kw peak figure on my own car (426 vs 402) at the same boost (23 ish psi). If I was to turn it up further the difference would be a lot more significant. Peak figure is one thing, but they drive totally different. Its a lot more 'snappy' on E85!
  17. No updates here. Can't do anything until I get the engine. I did polish my exhaust tips last week. Maybe I should take a photo of that!
  18. What sorta power did you make? Petrol or E85?
  19. Comp ratio with the built engine? Any head work?
  20. Is that a full effort tune man?
  21. Meh. ALL my Ikeya arms are pillow balls and some have been in there for almost 4 years. They're fine. People make out like they flog out in 100 km's. As for noise.... Can't hear nothing!
