  1. Manifolds? As in some stainless rubbish? Dont waste your money.
  2. Proberbly alot longer then you before you're banned. You're making a fool of yourself, so please, go back and hide under your rock or wherever you came from. Someone close this pitiful excuse for a thread!
  3. LOL. Mafia. That is save worthy for the next thread like this!
  4. Standard. Don't be another one of 'those guys' with a TU TU TU pTshhhh shoooooooooooiii ptshhhhhhh' bucket.
  5. I use the C spec. I had a look on RHD Japan last night and there was 2,000 yen or so difference. So sweet 2/10ths of nothing. It's just a heavier pressure plate. With the torque of your stroker, just grab the C spec anyway. It really is a no brainer.
  6. Never paid anything and thats including a Nismo intercooler. Even the head is coming in 'carry on luggage' haha!
  7. + a million for Marcus! Smashes every price out there 95% of the time, turns up in perfect condition and just an all round good bloke!
  8. Just did 35,000 of hard kms with close to 400 RWKW most of its life. Easily 250 7000 RPM launches on it. Engine came out 2 months ago and it's going straight back in. No rebuild, no new plates. C spec is rated at 780 ps where as the normal version is 640 ps
  9. True, BUT, It did improve out of sight with the loss of the Power FC (AFM's) and the duel entry cooler. It's ALOT better now... Well was.
  10. Someone sticky the answer. Nismo twin plate coppermix. For the extra $100 get the C spec. Order, install and enjoy.
  11. 5 day flat week we are sitting at about $1200 in the hand about to go through an EBA (pay negotiations). Haven't done a Saturday for a year now (go economy, yay) but an 8 hour Saturday is worth about $600 before tax. Obviously not talking about 1 man in a van/domestic crap here.
  12. Before or after tax? Any 'normal tradie' working for a decent company almost clears that for a 5 day week.
  13. But what a absolute prick of a job it is. That standard one is no a problem, but with the Nismo you have to hold the plenum/gasket/throttles/gasket on the up together and screw the bolts into the 'balance tube' on cylinders 5 and 6. This is because it fouls on the brake master. I would rather put a fire out on my face with a fork then do that job again! Having said that, it can be done!
  14. Well hopefullt this does it. You can't have any more black lines in your bay. It will look like a spiders web. Have you got your latest graph handy? Throw it up if you could be bothered!
  15. Next time your scared... don't come near me
  16. Ian. No Vcam yet but I put the Exhaust cam in that HKS and the guy that built the head recommended IF i decide to go that way later on. Actually even without Vcam Hiroyuki recommended the 264's anyway. I will be getting his 'recomended' cam settings and go from there. I'm hoping the idle will be nice and smooth, not a grumpy prick like it was with the 270's.
  17. 400, well 402 but for an extra 5 psi (30 psi) it only made it 414. Now in a step back in turbo size with a twin 3 inch exhaust it was sitting at 426 with 8 psi less. Only changes were exhaust, dumps and smaller turbos. Oh and even back to factory airbox!! Air has to get in AND out! Would have loved to have seen a back to back with just the exhaust change. How much of a restriction will a 2.5 inch hole will be on this car is anyone's guess. Maybe drop the 'diff back' once it's all done and do another run. That will give you the answer and only take a few minutes.
  18. No problem. When I get a photo of them .
  19. . Nah mate. HKS ported me a set. I learnt the hard way with stainless junk!
  20. Oh I'll doubt that. By the time I get it, engine in, box in, tune it and all the rest of the crap. Doubt it.
  21. When is Texi? Possibly. Need somewhere to 'shake it down'
  22. Pics fresh in from the land of the rising sun. A few pics of the head. The 'marks' on the face of the head is just sticky gunk from it being packed up. A little bit of petrol and it will be sweet. New 87 mm Tomei pistons with Ti top ring and Valve relief so I can run Vcam in the future if i want to be a dickhead. HKS Step 2 valve springs. JUN Ti retainers Some pretty Tomei stickers Parts missing are the exhaust manifolds which are matched to the head and I sent a manifold to turbine housing gasket to japan to be matched up. Cams are missing I also had a 'balance tube' port matched up. Parts will come in dribs and drabs to not get anally bashed by customs!!! Block and rods were taken down to the engine builder on Friday. When the pistons arrive the crank and the pistons will be taken down. Head will be in the country on the 12th of May.
  23. Well that was easy. Sold guys. No more PM's
  24. Hi mate. Umm I bought them about 3 years ago from a guy in Melbourne, so no not really. I've done maybe 12,000 kms on them. No knocks and no leaks. I'd still have them in the car if I didn't buy my R Tunes.
