  1. What comp ratio are you aiming for, Sean?
  2. I wanted to put one on out of curiosity. Down the line with a larger snail (9180/1.05) and possibly a 1.45 ass end to see what difference it makes to the exhaling with ease. Definitely not "needed", it was more of "bugger it, while the manifold is off" thing. I REALLY wish I had it while the twin butt plugs were on the car. It would have been halarious ?. Turbine speed is critical if you're gonna push these things. It's no secret they have a limitation and there is no way of knowing without a speed sensor. Boost means jack shit.
  3. Having had both a coppermix and the Triple OS, the triple is on par with the coppermix. It's a pleasure to drive.
  4. As above and above that.
  5. I asked and Scott didn't want to. I'm sure the is a reason for it. I suppose in theory there shouldn't be much of any difference between each scroll.
  6. rear subframe was out of it to do the bushes in it.
  7. Be happy to have a starter motor that works. Needs a wheel alignment. Rear left wheel is ordinary lol
  8. Exhaust gas manifold pressure lines. One line off each scroll of the manifold just before the flange.
  9. ?? MSCN plumbed up the Exhaust Manifold Pressure today.
  10. Come give us a hand! ?. Heavy broad minded person it is!
  11. Tried that last night. It seems to be not shooting the pin out. You can hear it spin.
  12. The car started, first go on Wednesday afternoon. So it wasn't "seized".
  13. Any ETA for the tune pete? A high comp 2.8 doesn't need a 7670. Needed a 8374/1.05!
  14. Looks like my starter motor has done a triple hernia and kicked the bucket. Le sigh!
  15. Get the tune looked at.
  16. "Whatever size you think you need, go one up". Seems to be quite fitting. 8374/1.05 on that thing all day! *Unless you're Pete.
  17. "Exhaust is not loud. The car sounds like a stocker. Well kind of. LOL." - Tuner + 1 for big quality mufflers and a 4 inch drain pipe. Jap junk can stay in the bin where it belongs!
  18. -10 lines FTW!
  19. Small update.... ITS RUNNING. Fired first go! Smells like burnt dust apparently .
  20. Buraz' car. Went from a Precision 6262/0.84 to a 9180/1.05 on his Racepace built 2.8L. "target boost" was the same RPM - 4700 RPM, however the 9180 feels much stronger sub 3500 RPM. (Yes, the bigger turbo with the bigger ass end felt stronger down low). That falls in line with a couple other 2.8/9180 results that have come through lately. 6262 made 430 rwkw at 24 psi 9180 made 483 rwkw at 24 psi and 498 rwkw at 27 psi so possibly needs a larger exhaust. It's only a 3.5 inch RP item. * Adnan loves to rape this thing so the tune is softer than most. Once again, the transient response is the stand out. The stuff that can't be shown on the dyno. 21. Bin the BC junk and put something that's half decent in there. Bushes! The more of these you change, the better. It's definitely a case of "oh wow, I didn't realise how bad it was" until you start replacing them OR changing arms that have new bushes in them. It is basically a 20 year old car. They're going to be flogged! Alloy rear cradle collars is a great place to start. The difference just by doing that is huge! * Every arm on my own car is Pillow Ball and it's nothing like you guys are describing. You would hardly know!
  22. Too much Subaru in this Nissan. Take it off!
