  1. Item: Blitz Spec R Dual Solenoid boost controller. Location: Georges Hall, Sydney. Condition: Used but in fantastic condition. Removed only because I'm now controlling boost through the ECU. Price: $350 delivered anywhere on mainland Australia. Contact: Through PM.
  2. -8 FTW. -6 return lines are too small!
  3. As above!?!?
  4. Washed it yesterday. It was absolutely rotten! Micko and the jizz gun. Massive loads.
  5. It's "sporty" Took it for a few laps last night in the sticks. I won't be posting nothing online ?. OS88 is a bit grumpy at low speed/throttle. Gonna take a bit of time to get used to that. Above 4000 it's mint.
  6. I'll have to try and get one. The 486 kw run looks less flattering through the middle. Scott had to speed up the sweep because it was trying to pull itself up and out of the rollers. Yeah, boost taper was just to leave some in the tank. 122,000 out of 127,000 turbine speed for the 8374. Peaks around 26-26.5 psi falling back to 23 psi up top. Had a bit of a play last night. On well before 4000 in second. You think you're ready to change, look down and you're still at 6000 rpm. Very seamless, no "whack", just builds and builds. The -5's felt way more aggressive and "snap onto boost". It would be a much easier car to drive quick. No surprises. At half throttle it makes 240 kw, exactly half of WOT throttle.
  7. Hopefully this is the only time today I get breath and drug tested on the side of the road. LOL.
  8. Not sure when I'm gonna get down there. Need to spend a bit of time RE learning how to drive the thing, it's been a long time and a lot has changed. Wheel alignment first before any dumb shit otherwise I'll end up in a cow paddock.
  9. Boost is almost meaningless. Throw the gauge in the bin. Want more boost? Use a less effecient setup. Put a heap of shit intercooler on it, whatever. Top end, the boost between Pete's 3.2 and my 2.8 are the same. The difference? Most of it would be the head. Two car's, one with a well thought out head and one with a stocker at the same turbine speed will be reading vastly different pressures. Pressure doesn't always mean "x" flow when comparing two setups. If I could make the same power at 10 psi, I would. Your 30 psi may be reading the same turbine speed as my 23 psi for example. Thing is you don't know where the turbo is without a speed sensor.
  10. @usmair That's roughly 26 psi tapering to 23 ish psi topend. 122,000 RPM turbine speed. If we went all in it would have been lucky to see another 0.5psi uptop. Turbo is pretty much done.
  11. Haven't seen it yet. You and the car has to survive the weekend ?
  12. Cheers man. Yeah. Sure. Things to do; - wash it - wheel alignment - remove redundant gauges and boost controller from car - make catch can for box ? (Although it's stopped spewing. Self level FTW) - farken drive it! Pick up is tomorrow. Thats the most power anyone has made on Scotts dyno with an 8374, with still some left in the tank.
  13. RB28 8374/1.05 122k turbine speed. Tapered back the boost top end.
  14. Different dyno -5 was RWD 8374 is 4WD. i can, but ignoring dyno's it feels like the car has a 3.4 in it. Absolutely NO comparison.
  15. Make that 122,000 turbine speed.
  16. That's where she ended up on E80. 120k turbine speed. Scott said it will go 500 but he was happy leaving it there.
  17. That's cute mate. How do you plan on making the smaller inducer of the GTX wheel fill the larger hole left by the GT wheel? Do yourself a favour and forget about shoehorning this and that into places where they don't belong. If you REALLY want to run GTX 2860's then do it properly and run the genuine GTX housings and redo the pipework to suit (IE 3.0 inch all the way to the compressor covers) and do away with the small, tight Nissan gear.
  18. Shame you can only like something once. Next size up for sure. 7670/1.05 ?
  19. I'll have to get back to you on that. Some plug that Scott uses. It's a heat range 9 with a funny tip. I thought I took a photo but I can't find it.
  20. Well, guys get all excited about a billet wheel being lighter.... but most of the weight is in the turbine wheel. The efr wheel is half the weight of a normal inconel wheel. Removal of all the small piping and super tight bends of the intake and exhaust. Just look at it all, it's hardly designed for MASS airflow. Put a pressure sensor on the intake of a 450 kw gtr and I bet it's pulling bulk vacuum. Dyson would be impressed.
  21. Hawkguy may not of had headwork or whatever but apart from exhaust and intake mods to accomodate the different configuration, the engine didn't change. Cooler went from a Nismooooooo to a larger (680x325x100) hypertune core and ecu changed. Head, cams (even cam timing) remained untouched. Probably could have advanced the intake on the twins a tad, maybe, but we can't go there with the efr. Scott is riding the surge line as it is. It WANTS to come on earlier. Lol
