  1. Why? You have everything for a single? The twin kit is not cheap and to be honest I am yet to see solid proof that they outperform a single setup on an RB. Where do you want to go from where you are? What are you chasing for FR to suggest a twin kit?
  2. 9180/0.92? YUCK! That combo shouldn't be available and the 8374/0.92 isn't much better! I bet if you were to log exhaust manifold pressure it would be pretty damn high! Want more power? Get rid of that restrictive rear housing and let it breathe. Subboy went from the 8374/0.92 to a 1.05 and gained 50 HP, "target boost" was 200 RPM later. It really is an odd theory to have a large cold side that can flow "x volume" of air but then choke the chook on the hotside. You're never going to make the most out of the compressor, so why have it? Air in AND out.
  3. Hi guys, I have up for grabs my OS Giken OS88 6 Speed sequential gearbox. This was originally purchased in October 2014 and received June 2015 after an 8 month wait from OS Giken. This is the updated version with the extended sump on it. I optioned this up with "option 2" gear ratio's. (This is an extra $1,000 option over the standard box price). This has the shortest 1st and the tallest 6th (6th same as the factory R32/R33 GTR 5th speed) so it's not spinning higher than it needs to be on the freeway. The ratios are; Option 2: 2.890, 1.981, 1.468, 1.174, 1.000, 0.757. I have also upgraded the gear position sensor to a Novotechnik Item as shown in the photo's below. This does away with the OSG 'switch style' sensor. The box has done no more than 350 km's on the street and a full flex tune on the dyno, so it's as good as brand new. Motul 75W-140 fully synthetic oil was used. That was the product recommended by Award Diff and Gearbox. It will not be driven again apart from the 15-20 odd Km's to where it will be removed. Whats included? - OS-88 6 speed sequential gearbox - Option 2 ratio's. - OS-88 transmission crossmember for BNR32/BCNR33 - Novotechnik gear position sensor - OS-88 Adjustable release fork kit - OS-88 direct shifter kit (bent style) - Release bearing - Gear indicator The gearbox is currently in the car and will be removed within the next couple weeks. I will be happy to take someone for a demonstration drive, HOWEVER, not without a $2,000 deposit. If you're interested in the gearbox you will (well should) know what they're about. The transfer case in those photo's is NOT included. I need that! Apart from the clutch (I used the OS Giken R3C) this is a whole and true bolt in package. Location is Georges Hall, Sydney. I will post at buyers expense. Contact me VIA PM. Price is $16,000
  4. Won't be making 1000 hp through factory restrictive OEM piping!
  5. Spring rates are only part of the puzzle. What's the valving like? What viscosity fluid is used? Over the years I have run stock V spec, Nismo S and R tune... then finally cracked it and did it properly. 14 kg/mm front springs and 9 kg/mm rear but the valving in them is far from "normal". Around town and bumpy "shit Sydney roads" it soaks all that stuff up MUCH better than the 3 gastric junk setups before it. Long story short, looking at one part of the shock is pissing in the wind and a waste of time!
  6. So the billet wheels are heavier? So the GTX 60 mm is 60 grams and the -5 wheel is 33 grams?
  7. Packing issues of the factory restrictive pipework says no.
  8. Would take a GTX over an SXE.
  9. But yet they go 380-400 quite comfortably on 4G's. ?. Need to bin the IWG and Externally gate it.
  10. I may have missed it but what was the reasons behind the big single throttle conversion, mate?
  11. Have you got a speed sensor? Are you measuring exhaust gas pressure at all? At full tilt, the 0.92 rear end might choke it up a bit.
  12. 8374/1.05 over a 6266/0.84 ALL day. Nismo 3.2ish went between those two turbos and the 8374 was on significantly earlier. Buraz went from a 6262/0.84 to a 9180/1.05 and down low it drove MUCH better. 8374.. do it.
  13. For $265 you can monitor how fast it's spinning. 6 mm drill bit and some wiring... even comes with a pre cast spot for a sensor from Borg Warner. WHY don't people want this data baffles me.
  14. BW EFR 8374/1.05. Be on 500 rpm earlier than -5's and make more power everywhere.
  15. Custom. 6 boost manifold, 8374, everything to suit. Grim Performance in Hornsby, Sydney did the fab work.
  16. Ditch the stupid Nismo thermostat. It's as useless as tits on a bull! Those things should be discontinued!
  17. Twin -5's on a 25 DE? Did I read that correctly? Why?
  18. Not having a good run huh. Who built it? Take it back and drop it on their doorstep!
