  1. R33 GTR. 2.8 litre with a pair of RS's hanging off the side of it. 380 - 400 RWKW or there abouts. Late model box in it only having 11,000 KMS on it and i stripped 3rd. Made a good mess Now have the OS 1-5 + input in. Ill get back to ou on how it is on the street.
  2. Cant recommend the Nismo twin plate enough. Nismo slave might be an idea.
  3. Personally with those turbo's i wouldnt go any bigger then Poncams (260's @ 9.15)..... As for sounding tough, it has a lot to do with the tune. A mates poncams sounds lumpier then my 270's @ 10.25's.
  4. Such a same to see this car go!!!. I have driven it a few times and is a absolute Hoot to drive. As said in previous post, sensibly modified with things that *most* owners wont do. IE sump.
  5. 8000 RPM 8250 RPM cut out
  6. Sending a rep to a SAU meeting. I suppose thats a positive step?
  7. Guys. Could anyone tell me which Nissan dealer they went through the get replacement parts when rebuilding this box. I have spoken to 2 dealers and im not getting anywhere. One dealership told me there is 2 different revisions of the late model 33 boxes. The parts im after (well having trouble getting) are 1st and 4th synchro's.
  8. A Little off topic. Would anyone know the specific part number for a 1998 GTR box? I have the number : 32010-12U60. I have googled it but it has returned all sorts of different years. Is there a such thing as a different number for a 1998 box?
  9. This blows. It wasnt avaliable at every service station as it was.
  10. Why would you have to be "nuts" to have your car tuned on v power racing? Thats not exactly the news I wanted.... I smell a retune coming on
  11. 272's @ how much lift?
  12. 2530's wont come on as hard as that T04Z. Has your mate got a stroker of anysort? That may explain the earlish spool up of the T04Z. What are your engine specs... It will make things a bit easier.
  13. If Leewah can stick with stock BOV's anyone can Stock BOV's I got just on 400 KW at the treads with stock bov's and no problems... Enough said
  14. For those of you who have rebuilt your box with this kit did you use the OS centre plate? Im not sure if i should or shouldnt..... (i ordered my gear set on wednesday)
  15. ^^^ Excellent. Just what I was after. 5 speed kit here we come Paul... in your box did you use the OS centre plate?
  16. Only reason being.... driving down the freeway at 120km/h theres no reason for the motor to be spinning at 3600RPM (or close enough to it). If anything i'd want to make the 5th taller.... it has enough grunt to push the tall gear.
  17. Well seeing that i smashed my box on saturday this OS gear set is looking like a very nice option. A few questions... Seeing that greenline have the 5 speed set cheaper then the 3 gear set... can i order the 5 and just replace it with my stock 5th? What speed are you doing at 8000 RPM with stock 4.111 diffs in each gear? Paul.... any issues with it?
