  1. if the car is bent, which it sounds like it probably is if it was bought damaged from an auction............... sell it and don't tell anyone calipers are fairly easy to rebuild yourself, i just did mine on the weekend. protip if you decide you're going to paint the calipers too, do the painting on the car because proper brake caliper paint only cures properly at high temps so it might feel dry when you touch it but you make a mess when you pick it up
  2. i'm after that how much mailed to brisbane 4101 thanks
  3. hey mate i'm after the AAC valve? Looking for the whole thing that bolts onto the back end of the plenum
  4. it's one of the coolant lines for the turbo probably the lowest point apart from the bottom of the radiator, if you want to flush it all out open the plug at the bottom of the radiator and start the engine and make sure the heater is on full ball. when coolant stops coming out it means there is nothing left in the system
  5. yeah didn't have any vice grips, went and got some and worked a treat thanks
  6. i'm in the middle of trying to remove the calipers to rebuilt them, which obviously requires me to under the line so i can remove the caliper completely all 3 of the nuts on the line just will not undo, all they want to do is round off. am i meant to bleed out the fluid to relieve pressure? is there something i'm missing here? because it just doesn't seem like they are going to come off
  7. i think you're doing it wrong ruffels

  16. sorry price is $450
  17. I have a set of gold 5x114.3 only drifteks for sale 3 of them are fine 1 of them is damaged on the inside edge of the wheel, it's been repaired and has recently just randomly started dropping it's air over night it's a bit of a saga but i could go out tomorrow and get the tyre put back on it and it will hold air for 2 weeks fine then i'll come out one morning and it's dropped all it's air. it's been repaired for like 2 years now, it held air for over a year after i first got it repaired then i took them off the car for a track day and put them back on the car after i came out the next morning and it's dropped it's air. in all honesty all it really needs is to be taken to a good wheel repairer and they will work where it's been welded a bit better, seriously could just require some sanding and it would be totally fine. <$200 they all have a bit of gutter rash around the edges but nothing bad at all 17 x 8 +35 and 17 x 9 +38 i think, offsets to be 100% confirmed tonight i will have pics up tonight Price: $450 - if you factor in say $150 (i highly doubt it would cost that much, it only cost me about $200 to get it repaired in the first place) to get it repaired you get a set of rims for $600 that are in otherwise good condition the reason i'm not getting them repaired is i took this as an oppotunity/good excuse to get some work wheels :] 0413377833 Northside Brisbane

  19. sounds over the top, but that's pedders for you
  20. you're kind of right and kind of wrong there, fyi the oil system is closed so it doesn't matter whether you take a reading on the pressure from the sensor in the block or from an aftermarket gauge that has it's sensor in an oil sandwhich plate between the block and oil filter, it should be exactly the same reading no matter where it's taken from a leak will allow pressure to release from the whole system so it won't matter where you sensor is you will be able to see the change in pressure.
  21. wash your car more regularly and use good pads? i've got project mu spec B's they dust up heaps but f**k they are good pads got a bit of a squeak in them now after doing a track day, but only when the car is almost stopped or going slow it will squeak sometimes
