  1. hahahaha off the testosterone pills
  2. I'll just leave this here then
  3. football clubs such as West Tigers development squads still say eat a loaf of bread a day to help bulk.
  4. sorry about the grammar I need to learn engrish and stop trying to focus on 13 things at once.
  5. IIFYM is probably the easiest diet going. Eat whatever you want, but stay within your macro boundary. Don't see what is so hard about that? Something I have learnt from training for years without much success, if you don't get the basics right then you will fail. Now crossfit is a whole different kettle of fish, as i was interested in getting into it, I read up, spoke to people who do and have trained in crossfit. I would suggest taking your time to look at it, the majority of feedback i found was in short, people had never been as fit and in shape in their life as they are whilst doing it and followed up with, so many knee and shoulder injuries.
  6. if ive worked a good amount of OT I'll order a bunch of meals from my muscle chef to cover me for a week. If budget doesn't permit then I'll just eat anything and everything in my house. Generally the gf and I live on pretty good food, meat and veg type of thing and she over cooks most nights which is good for me. to be honest though, where i am at now, how much protein i consume each day isnt of concern to me as I can get enough from my steak, chicken, pork, eggs that I eat each day. with that in mind, have i put much size on this year? no, reason why is partly diet and partly training, I havent been hitting the gym as regularly I was last year and I havent been eating to gain weight. I honestly believe if you try hard enough, 90% of people can get enough protein from whole meals to achieve the goals that they are after. Sure if you're a sales rep or something protein shakes are convenient, but they should never be taken as a meal replacement. Last year I put 5-6kg. All that changed for me was my level of training, and the type of food i was eating. No where near as much processed food or take away, more whole some home cooked meals and milk, lots of milk. There is a video of Kai Green on youtube cooking his meals for the day, I recommend everyone take a look at it and listen to what he is actually saying and the point he makes.
  7. I take no supplements and eat anything and everything I can. There are no left overs in my house hold. Does that help?
  8. PTC Sydney's atmosphere was awesome, reminded me of the atmosphere back in the boxing and mma gyms i was at. Everyone there for the same/similar reasons, helping out where needed.
  9. also forgot to mention, if PTC Sydney was closer to home, I'd go there instead of the shit gym i go to at the moment.
  10. you sure she is a girl?
  11. Markos I think the big issue is the perception that a power lifter is fat and most people here want to look like Zyzz and go to festivals with their shirts off and impress the ladies. This is why you keep hitting the wall. Does that mean you are wrong and they are right? f**ked if i know, I read shit that says if you want a good chest do 4 sets of exercise on chest in a workout and eat lean food, drink x,y,z supplements. End of the day do I have a mad chest? No Best bit of advice I got from this forum was actually from that squat dodger TTT when he recommended me watch the docco Bigger Stronger Faster. Not going to get into it on the forum, but watch it, it is one of the reasons as to why i dont purchase supplements any more. Also Markos, I hate you because the women in your gym bench more then I do, so now im hitting gym in the morning doing 5x5 again. Annnnd you think goal targets for squats should be 140kg + (never see anyone squatting that much for reps and full depth where I go) and 160kg + for deadlift, what about bench?
  12. think you need to squat more
  13. think this guy is yet to see how massive i am.
  14. would also prefer a video from behind..... for ummm further evidence of not making ATG
  15. more deep squats would have fixed you knee and elbow pain.....
  16. same for me. have also read numerous articles that back up that statement. but my old man swears by fish oil for his knee pain. might be a placebo who knows
  17. have used gabba it helps once u get the dose right for you but you shouldnt use it for long spans of time. week here and a week there type of thing
  18. nahhh not copied and pasted. will change the wording around. promise.. was thinking of just doing a 2 day split and alternate days each time i get to the gym but do different rep ranges
  19. havent updated this in awhile. Sitting round the 70kg mark, no chance of increasing or decreasing at this stage. Work and uni is killing me i get to the gym 2-3 times a week if im lucky and that's wed-friday
  20. how is that helpful knowing that i have to get up at 7 to get to work on time and that i probably wont be asleep before 11-12. Also do they work with someone else sleeping in the same bed?
  21. what is the go with these sleep apps? what are they meant to do? help you achieve? offer what adivce? are they bs like testosterone pills? how are they meant to work?
  22. ive gone off pretty much all supplements. Only the occasional pre workout if i am real run down after work. otherwise its just food food food for me. Getting pretty tired of eating chicken, fish and steak though...
