  1. booked in to have a coaching session with Trent from PTC Sydney next Saturday. Will be interested to see if I have been dead lifting or squating incorrectly. also any other tips that he can give. I think it will be more beneficial for my brother who has only just started going to the gym.
  2. thanks for the info, as said i cant get on them due to an existing heart condition, but there a few boys on the juice in my gym, all got good physiques on them but never really see them do much whilst at the gym.
  3. Really hope its better then Shogun. I just couldn't get into it after Empire and Napoleon
  4. got a question which flows on from my rant in another thread. how much of a difference does steroids and the likes do to the end picture? obviously I know they help you get bigger faster, either water weight or other. I have been told that people on them have been able to train harder for longer and even add extra sessions in their days, is this true or bs? People on them get heaps stronger either quicker or whilst on? One person I know who got on one cycle said his appetite exploded and was eating heaps more, is that normal? Lastly, relating to the entire pre, during and post cylce, do they help negate the need for a good clean diet? Have seen so many who always seem to have raging 6 packs does gear make that kind of look easier to achieve and maintain? Noob questions I know, but I am interested in just how much they help. Not going to take them as I can't with my heart, this is purely a question and would prefer actual answers if possible
  5. guy that goes to the gym annoys me for a number of reasons. 1. first month he is there, average normal guy, 2 months later big and ripped, and I am talking the 80-90kg stupidly ripped, makes Birds abbs look like shit they poke out that much. But hey each to their own 2. Constantly, and we are talking 4-5 times a night, lifts his singlet up to see if his abbs have run away 3. Lifts heavy weight, but on most lifts like Incline Dumbell Bench, doesnt even go half reps 4. Continuing from no# 3, stupid prick then feels the need to grunt and moan like a toss bag 5. Throws dumbells, and i mean 2-3 feet throws 6. There is more as well, just cant remember them all.
  6. thanks markos, got a hold of him.
  7. haha i wanna fall over at 70kg squats strong bastards either way though they are some nice lifts.
  8. never mind remembered the places name, will fire off a quick email.
  9. Markos what is your gym called in Sydney? I know its in Lidcombe I want to go do a session there one weekend with my younger brother and get him shown proper form on the main lifts, rekon I could organise it with whoever runs the joint there?
  10. I have been on the same program for about a month now, lifts have improved but my biggest issue is the gyms weight. I have to go up with 2.5kg increments rather then the 1.25 that is suggested. Have plateaued on bench already at 60kg which I am trying to get past. Always sucked at bench for some reason, always get to 60kg and struggle to go up any further.
  11. squatted last night, one rep was pretty questionable in regards to form. I still haven't got back to the same weight that I was squatting before my knee issue from last year.
  12. thanks for all the tips, might try a couple of em and see how i go.
  13. Thread Revival. Anyone else wake up still tired each and everyday? Doesn't matter if I sleep for 1 hour, 14 hours or anything in between, I without a doubt will wake up tired and feel not run down but like I can't function. Generally get 8 hours sleep every night, rarely wake up during the night. Don't toss and turn and generally can't remember dreams.
  14. shut up and squat. today will be 3rd time this week ive squated
  15. thing that has me most excited about its release is being able to stream games from PS1, PS2 and PS3 otherwise just another console
  16. this is how you deadlift no?
  17. if I can be bothered to find the article i'll post a link, but I have read that naturally it is nearly impossible to put on more then 5kg of pure muscle in a year. was only one thing I read could be wrong but according to them and the studies they did on professional athletes 5kg is the max.
  18. not entirely if he gets on the proper gear. But would like to see proof that it wasnt water weight.
  19. ^ best comment of this entire thread.
  20. lol I had a good laugh at that link. The most ridiculous thing that i have read in sometime.
  21. also you should all read this link and get on it. Have had heaps of success with it.............. http://www.menslifehealths.com/
  22. water weight doesnt count here
  23. try some Alburtrex...... I too squated last night. Working on form and making sure I go much lower, this has resulted in lower weight, but it certainly takes more energy out of me.
