  2. good stuff, I have found at times even with ningling issues, if I get in and just start lifting or whatever else they tend to go away. might be the mma background in me where I was always injured but had to train or fight with them. depends how bad it is, and obviously your ankle has to be taken into consideration

  6. I thought your beginner workout was Squat 3x 10 Bench 3 x 8 Row 3 x 8 Military 3 x 8 SLDL 3 x 8 BB Curl 3 x 8?? Also can you substitute bent over rows with something else? I hate bents (don't feel it much in my lats and get a fair bit of pain in my wrists and hands.

Squat 3 x 10 Bench 3 x 8 Row 3 x 8 Military 3 x 8 SLDL 3 x 8 BB Curl (happy troy?) 3 x 8 I am assuming you just hit the next set as soon as you feel right to lift the weight the required reps? How come SLDL instead of regular deads? any particular reason?

  10. hmmm, uni starts again this week, gym time will be cut down from 3-4 days a week to 2-3. not sure if I should change my routine to accommodate less time or just keep doing what i am doing. Day 1: Squat Bench Rows Day 2: Squat Military Deadlift all 5 x 5, with strength gains in mind. Opinions?
  11. havent tried a 1RM but I think I could get 120kg out once with average form, maybe a bit more.
  12. got 100kg x 4 reps the other night. Not enough, I feel like I could squeeze a little bit more out before form really goes on me.

  17. i definatley want to give one of these comps ago love competition. But the way im lifting at the moment the girls who weigh 50kg will out perform me and that's just not cricket

  22. Markos, that gym looks amazing, you should collaborate with Trent from Sydney and get him to move from Lidcombe to Campbelltown/Liverpool.... would workout much better for me. Seriously though, when you get a new client onto your beginner workout that you posted in the supplement page, you said to continually add weight every session, what do you do when the client has added the weight and no longer reaches the required reps? I am currently doing a 5x5 program, made up of 2 days alternating Squats, bench and seated row - Day 1 squats, military press and deadlifts (1 working set) - Day 2 I have found that I have started not hitting the 5 reps on squats and I reckon bench will be next.

Leesh noticed this comment from Bulk Nutrients today during their lunchtime Q & A When it comes to "bulking up with muscle" in regards to a female - ask any of our top female professionals on this very Facebook page how extremely DIFFICULT this is to do for a woman. It will not happen over night and it sure won't be the cause of a protein powder. Sure, carb and fat bulk can happen rapidly, as well as a heap of water build up, but in no way will muscle suddenly just appear on a female without some serious serious planning and dedication. That is from Bulk in regards to a women asking about a powder that wont make her bulk up much, but I thought it was appropriate to some of the things you have said.
  24. plenty of the blokes who get written about on simplyshredded.com show their workouts which is full of volume. It is nothing knew. great work by Leesh though
