  1. would love a power lifting gym closer to home, but have to make do with budget fitness
  2. big effort by them guys. Especially the tiny 59kg guy
  3. Just watched Odell's lifts at GPC.... why did it seem like he had more lifts in him after each one? Especially the squat.
  4. also seems how i see Markos lurking. do random walk ins go to the comps that you hold and compete or are they only for PTC members?
  5. well this took an unexpected turn.....
  6. all it will do Leesh is act as a diary for working out. wont make you lift more or less, wont change how your body looks. It is just one of many places where you could store some information about your progress. If you look at my build it is full of garble.
  7. average age of the winners of Mr Olympia is 33 years old. in short it can take a long time and it is something you can work at for your entire life.
  8. nudes to follow? well done Leesh, keep up the hard work.
  9. So what is the difference between the amature and the pro groups?
  10. hey markos what do the amateur comp lifters lift? noticed there was one coming up at PTC Sydney next month.
  11. what is so difficult about 20?
  12. also Markos is there a link you can give me to your bulk thread? I am interested in having a read of it.
  13. where do u live Boz?
  14. quality article by Markos, makes me want to read his bulk thread.
  15. well i hit the gym last night before tag. squats were a bad idea, but 65kg full depth for 5 sets was decent enough to make my legs jelly. Still have another 60kg to add onto this but long way to go. question for Markos about knee straps (not that im thinking of buying them) but when do you tell your clients they need them? The gym I go to I have to actually walk out of the squat rack to be able to go deeper then just under parallel and have often thought how easy it would be to do a knee walkin back with heavy weight.
  16. my heart specialist told me weights do just about FA for the heart and its health. he has told me some sort of cardiovascular work must be done, whether it be a walk, run, job, bike, box etc also can vouch that time spent in a PTC gym being shown correct technique and guided is worth the money spent. Trent from Sydney was a champ.
  17. some nice lifts and a decent setup
  18. you do the same routine every session at gym? how often do you go?
  19. ^^ lol on an upside, not sure what the go is but my reflux seems to be easing so I am starting to be able to eat a bit more without throwing up. win win. Now just need to gym regularly.
  20. what about standing military press in the squat rack? I find using the longer bar a million times better then the short barbells.
  21. normally i wouldnt use the smith to squat in but due to time restraints had to get it done.
  22. i guess that is possible and makes sense
  23. had to squat on the smith machine last night, found i could go much much lower then when I do with the bar by itself. Probably another 2 inches. Not sure why, I wasn't leaning back into the squat and using the machine to balance myself (if that makes sense). Weight was 10kg lighter but even when I warm up with the bar only, I don't get that low.
  24. yea i use a pre shave oil and a quality shaving cream. I think it might be the actual water and the fact my shave area is now really open so a lot of cold air gets in
  25. I am really struggling to get a good shave at the moment. Not sure what the issue is but cutting myself more then I did a few weeks ago. Only thing that has changed has been moved houses (also new blade). I think it is something to do with heat, my shaving cream doesnt seem to get as good a lather up in the new bathroom. Also by the time I finish shaving my actual face, the cream on my neck almost looks patchy and not even. If that makes any sense.
