  1. Hope Russ enters. We can get some RB20 goodness vs RB25 hackness comp going
  2. Gutted, got off a plane Thu night, went to start the car Sat morning and she was dead as a door nail and now wont hold charge. Was looking forward to volunteering and giving Sat night a nudge. So looking forward to the next one already
  3. 100% Hamioltons fault. Moving over on the poor Williams driver...he didnt even have both hands on the steering wheel. Hamo should start from the back row...which puts Webz 2nd
  4. Glad somebody picked it...i should mention it is the fastest high mount silver R32 with an RB20 and Nismo shift nob in Aus
  5. Its a good thing., I drove from London to Hungary and back, including waltzes all over Europe. It survived that test drive so its a good thing From the Alps to the dirty back streets of Frankfurt...everybody loves the Cossie I now regret going to the Ring and not lapping it. I was a bit concerned about being so low and rubbing tyres on guards + it tramlines rather badly as I think the steering rack bushes are gone...still, I want to go back in time now and put it in the Ring (ashamed I pussied out ) But, it was great getting back into the R32 this weekend. The in line 6s are so much nicer then the 4s, smoother, rev so more freely, and now catn wait to see how the baby Poncams and E85 go in the next fortnight. May throw the T67 on if the E85 does enough of masking as happy to live with nothing under 4,500rpm if it means we bag 310rwkw out of a stock RB20 AND thread name change...need to add "and his Cosworth penile extension"
  6. Snowie, they have layed concrete at Snowy corner. You are now good to go And because I am a tragic with no life i often go back and watch this over and over...I came so close to holding the lil R400 flat I havent experienced the birth of children, marriage, or much sex for that matter. so sadly, this is truly two of the most fun days of my life
  7. Err... I pay money. I get to thrash my car and beat Ash in his kiddy fiddling homo erectus GTR. Good enough for me How does hitting walls make you a better driver? I learnt the same lesson at Calder grifts. No talent and no money means I will stick with what I know, and that is driving the fastest silver R32 GTSt with an RB20 with a Momo seat and Panasonic CD player in the country. Sure its a small group ... but importantly its an exclusive group but...
  8. ...ans auto pilots
  9. What more does Grosjean have to do. The kid isnt from loads of money, has had good results in lower categories even though often not with the best teams in that class of racing...works in a bank to keep money in his pocket and has a great attitude. He was only 0.3-0.5 seconds off Alonso when he was qualifying the Renault in his first ever F1 races...in a poor car he had not tested. He is good enough!!!!
  10. Fair crack of the whip. You cant be too hard on him. His first time in the car, on those tyres and in the wet at Spa. Others were going off as well...but must have knocked his confidence. He needs to try and build up to a pace and think about getting to a point where he can give it his best in the race at Monza, he needs to work up to that weekend. He isnt going to do anything this weekend other then ruin his chances. After Monza we will see if he is trending towards the shitness level of PK Jr or somewhere better then that....but even then thats not really enough time. I suspect he will be booted for my man Romain Grosjean anyway so not much he can do unless a Brazilian sugar daddy comes to his aid. Note that Grosjean topped GP2 practice with no spins/biining etc though something has just gone wrong with his quali as he is nowhere
  11. Good stuff. Should have something done about my exhaust and hopefully get more then 2 80% laps
  12. How fast are the Mercs in teh first sectio!!!! RBR Around 0.5sec slower in the first sector And I have said it before and will say it again...who wouldnt want to be Cruise ... http://www.redbull.com/cs/Satellite/en_INT/Video/Ayrton-Senna-in-Monaco-1984-021243073950705
  13. There is some good times in the pipeline...perfect timing with the F1 drive too...lol farked if I will ever be able to afford a decent haircut let alone a house because of silly cars
  14. Do you have a number for me to try? Sounds like a plan! I was only thinking I didnt get any photos of girls from Budapest...which is something I need to be beaten for. There is something in the water in that town. Fark Nurburgring...Spa is the place to go to. You smile like an idiot just walking around the place. I will get some pics up over the weekend of the trip now I dont have to worry about my earlier concerns
  15. I could have a very cool garage, I can afford the cars, I cant afford the house with a garage big enough for all the cars
  16. Yeh, will be watching with interest how your Bruno goes. I have never thought much of his ability even though he has had good results in lower categories. I think he is there because of his name, nothing else...so happy to be proven wrong. He will be doing well to get withing 0.8sec of Petrov in quali and withing 1 minute of Petrov in the races (IMO) Its painful to have been at this track only 10 days ago and now having to watch this race on tv
  17. Just bring an oil tanker if its going to be a long drive. There is a reason why most never finished Bathurst as I dont think they had big enough boot to fit the size sump they need
  18. I get what you say about one being driven hard. I though Scud 460s were for raging homo hairdressers to the stars. Then i saw one being driven in anger and now I think its a fancy AE86 with a certain type of appeal...i suppose Hehe, I love my new bus. In the car park at the servo down the road from Nurburgring, eating a Bratwurst and enjoying a brew for lunch at the neighbouring cafe... there was a 458, a Ford GT and my 80s awesomeness and a bunch of other things. I couldnt help but smile and feel the love when majority of people walked past the Fezz and the GT to look at the Cossie. I think the Cossie is old school and pretty rare compared to 458s, GT3/RS etc etc which seem to be an 18th birthday present for young kids in Europe Fun to drive, attracts all the old fellas (though a 40yr old women with her daughter jumped out of her car whilst we were on the Eurotunnel to ask if it was genuine ) and idiots like me that have long forgotten what a bucket they are and just like them
  19. I have had a Carrera GT smash past me at Silverstone when I was in an open top Caterham and once when i was in an Exige at Spa. If the driver has a pair they go like stink, sound amazing and look amazing! THE END
  20. So were any Sierras running. I was hoping to get some shots of undercarriage. I got some pics of an Eggeneberger at Nurburgring as they were running in the Old Timers festival. Would be a dream to own an Aussie Grp A car and to take it to the festival. Lol wish I coud afford friends R31
  21. Will have to see if I can hitch a ride up and misbehave
  22. Fark Cruise the homo and fark Redbull for giving some uber ruch retard such a special experience. And re the name dropping of corners, I think its more to with years of watching races at this circuit and from reading accounts of people like Surtees etc which makes the circuit and the cornes zo memorable. I wouldnt have a clue of corner names of the new uber shit tracks that you never read about
  23. What does Aus have to do to get an invite, with Dan and Webz would be good to see them fly the colours....though with the likes of Power, Briscoe etc seems odd we dont get to run....years ago Ireland got a spot ffs Oh, and IMO Spa doesnt need DRS. They are such long straights that if your tyres are two laps older I think they are going to struggle to defend position into Les Combes and after the blast up through Blanchimont and into the chicane, hell if Baron can overtake GT3s in a lowly Exige at that part of the track then maybe Vettel can do it this year without punting someone
  24. Best thing about the R35 is I know nothing about them other then if I am servcing and it breaks; the best place for me will be the pub...not under the bonnet. Any chance you can run this thing as a Spec V or something and get some goodies for it....after all its an auto AWD so must needa bout 1200hp to be entertaining to drive
  25. Brake light is out...that has to be worth 1-2 sec
