  1. Not for the RB20, its'sorted and not touching it. But looking for a turbo for the 2L 4 in my Cossie as it rocks old school lag and as its a daily would be happy to lose some hp fof drivability. Runs a twin scroll manifold std, though not sure but think its T3.
  2. So what would one of the 6258 in single form be like on a 2L?
  3. Harry will love this weekends GP then...DRS looks like playing a huge role with where they are positioning it. Eau Rouge is easily flat these days and was personally expecting it into the final corner. Lets see if Webber can come home strongly for the season, 6 or 7 victories would be nice Oh, and I think Bernie is mad for thinking that 30% of the race fans in India are going to be travelling their from Europe. I think h is dreaming if he thinks India has that sort of appeal to Europeans compared to perhaps travelling somewhere to watch a GP. My $5 is on no drivers or team members eating local food or drinking anything but prepared bottled of red bull
  4. So tempted to go balls to the wall with teh R32 now that I have the Cossie for daily duties...but i suspect I would stillget my ass kicked by Russ so that takes some of the shine off. Great lap and work on developing the car. You and the crew proved me wrong as I was a little concerned you were not going to get the thing singing so quickly . TOP WORK!!!
  5. In Hungary it was like he was still racing. So many Polish with flags and chants for a bloke getting blow jobs of Romanian hookers in a hospital bed...strange
  6. I think there are enough of the units out there being used with no problems its only natural that perhaps a few have issues. Who knows, I am confident mine hasnt been knocked around but vibration in cars etc, handling etc could be a prob on some...who knows
  7. It helps that you are running Tein REs which are a great shock and also the custom sway bars. I think your bars are better then the ARC ones I replaced them with In all seriousness, do you understand where the extra lap time came from last year to this year? Was it 0.6-0.8 second just driving the track more...1.0-1.5 in aero...1.5-2.0 in tyres/suspension and 1.0 second or so in grunt???? Curious to hear your thoughts...and great vid
  8. I am sitting in the lobby of the hotel trying to put back my flight to Aus, figure I want to go to Spa next weekend. Lets see what Malaysian airlines try to sting me for moving flights. I have no interest in coming home and going back to reality
  9. Used to be be a public road (in part) but since around 2005-2006 it has been a dedicated circuit. its BS that it may lose its GP and only get a race every 2nd year....good on you Bernie, Korea, the sphincter of the universe, China, Singapore and dirt bowls get a race but Spa and France have to share a race...twit!
  10. It was a real surprise. My first pick for this year was Zolder, and was a little disappointed that I couldnt get something lined up. So Zandvoort was a real revelation and perfect in a Caterham. Already got bigger plans for next year
  11. I know, that twice now! The Superlight was still plenty of car around the track, though the R300 would have been more fun over the back of the circuit as they are meant to have a little less understeer
  12. Anyone going and able to get pcs? I understand the old Grp A cars will be out
  13. Just got done with doing my first track day at Zandvoort, Holland. Good track, with an EPIC back section where you are 6th going over a blind crext into a mega fast 5th right hander roller coaster. This section of the track makes it the goods I had booked an R300, which has 40hp more then the Superlight in the vid, better suspension and roll cage...but a guy binned it at Spa on Tuesday on me...and the spare R300 they brought on the trip from UK punctured its fuel tank at Spa Had to buy a GoPro the day before the event and they dont like beign in open top cars. took a lot of effort to get the wind noise as low as in the vid (which is still pretty bad)
  14. My affection is now split. Both have about 400-420hp of 2L lag-awesomeness... OLD LOVE NEW LOVE I still love my R32, but there is something cool about people coming up and talking to me about the Cossie. Whether its UK, Germany, Holland or Belgium. Its a feel good car and gets so many thumbs up. At a race track with Porsches, Fezz everywhere....they all stop and look. LOL, makes me love the unloved R32 even more
  15. Yikes. The difference 12 months makes to the pace of the cars!
  16. Very surprised by the quality of the Go-Pro...audio struggles in an open top car....but swings and roundabouts. Anyone know a program that will allow me to edit and play with mp4 videos?
  17. Good luck to everyone competing. Have fun and hopefully the times will follow
  18. Yeh, its no big deal...I am being paranoid, but for good reason until a few things fall into place, I dont want to leave myself exposed so will hold on until end of next week oh, and Zandvoort today was AMAZING!!
  19. Sorry, had a first post to kick it off and a recent "issue" with me posting antics came to my attention so will hold off for another week

  21. Yeh, ring Race Brakes in WP, tell them about your drama and see if they can get you sorted. The std lines are absolute rubbish in my books as they go to the back of the caliper and not to the std hard lines so when you add lock they ouut tension on the lines And just a question, why isnt there a rule tha states aero cant be a certain percentage over the original dimension or track/wheelbase of a vehicle? I am looking at picks up of an S13 and its way out there!!!! The front wing adds about 50-75% of width to the car...and extends waaaay forward as well. All a bit crazy in my books
  22. You still need water cooling on 84 vane, 36mm thick rotors that are 400mm in diameter? Christ!!!!
  23. Meh....driving a Skyline = ewwww
