Which city? best bet is to go to a place where you can leave the car and they can make sure the solution is correct. -
Vids Of Your Cars At Motorsport Events
Roy replied to super_s13's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
So any pics of your car Dane? I am interested to see your cage and whether you are happy with it. -
Yeh, i think Webber has been so desperate for points and results he now drives pretty conservative, unlike when he first arrived at the door of Williams. I think he was overly aggressive at Williams, now a tad too careful at RBR. Hopefully he will come alive with a quick team mate. He showed in Japan with Massa that he doesnt like losing his lazy point, even to the Ferrari that was way quicker. The dog still has some bite Come on Webber! Here is your chance to make believers of us and ruin another hotshot young guys career

Other then KHS Kansai, Cusco and ARC who else makes titanium braces? -
I understand the strength aspect, but i have a 2L so more concerened with the weight. Hopefully a gut feel resulting from the grunting required to remove and install respective cradles

I think the fact that Webber was consistantly quicker then Heidfeld and Rosberg shows that he has the pace. I am not too alarmed by Vettel jumping in the seat next to him. I think Webbers biggest risk is him doing a Button and losing that drive to keep moving up the grid, and just become content to blame the car. So Vettel will provide him a shot in the arm just in case he is sick of working so hard for mid field results. It could worl out to be perfect timing. Webber can ask for whatever drive he wants if he beats Vettel next year

Looking at your rear shocks you are running a GTR rear cradle. Would you happen to know the weight benefit? I mean do the bigger shafts just offset the alloy hubs?

Yeh, i was hoping that Jr was shown the door and Sebastian Bourdais given the chance. There is no question in my mind that hw would do a far better job then Jr, and he seemed to be a match for Vettel in the last few races. Especially when you consider he got shafted in the last lap at Spa in the wet by Heidfeld and co. Shafted by Trulli/Glock in Brazil....and that he is pitting 3-4laps after Vettel so is in the Top 10 but a few places behind because of fuel. Surely he will retain his seat? I am such a fan after seeing him in Melb and watching him go about his business. So low key, and a real worker

Is the R34 going to be ready by March?

Its the indecision over having a hand feed with my left hand or right hand that causes the accidents

Mika was quick. But he was the chosen son of Mac at the time. DC was the new kid and won a GP before Mika. He would have won 2 before Mika if not asked to gift one to him….and the rest is history. Mika was quick, but back in the day with the old format of qualifyign DC could build pace and get the lap and was better over a race distance. He should never have surrendered the advantage he had over Mika

Because there are plenty of people who will tell me the same thing. I don’t need to always be pointing out my shortcomings. To spray or not to spray before my next Sandown?
-
Bugger Will see if Mic can steal some parts off your car for me.

My only complaint of Mika was that he got the results ahead of my fav driver, DC. I still to this day think that there were powers at play that stopped DC from achieving what he should have at McLaren. DC wasnt the chosen son and didnt stand up to the poltiics at play. I think thats my view and may always stay that way. But that was more against the team then Mika. The best call of late of DC was when the hot little Malaysian girl for Star Sports was interviewing him about his retirement, the what will you miss most question came. His response was looking down at your cleavage during interviews. God bess the man!

Was Adam banned? Awesome On every topic, not just F1 he was often just posting tripe to wind people up. I dont need to see things the same as others, and welcome different views as reading different takes on events/things is always interesting and gives you perhaps a different appreciation of things. Slo long Adam, his posts and his PMs I dont see things the same as the likes of Mika etc, but i completely respect what Mika and any other fan of certain drivers post. Its cool to see fans ark up and defend their guy... Anyway....see ya DC. Enjoyed your career. Hated that McLaren seemed to get behnd Mika when you were delivering results before him But in his place could be my new fav driver. With Webber and Vettel on board next year i think i wont pine too much over DCs retirement

It is not the same thing. Kimi won 3 of the last 4 rounds. He won 6 races in total, the most of the season. He was helped by Massa in Brazil...but he raced hard to the line and and won the championship. All whislt Lewis choked in China and again in Brazil where he overdrove on the first lap only to do have a self induced gremlin. Last year he hurt himself, this year he needed luck So tell me how a guy driving around in 5th and 6th, 6th up until the final corner is the same as what Kimi achieved last year? Kimi was fortunate that whilst he was getting on with the job the others were off with the fairies sabotaging themselves. Yes Lewis is still a worthy winner, not as worthy as others have been or were this year. But he got the job done. ...and i hate the fact that i cant go back and fix my typos. LOL, trying to sneak posts in between contractor walking in on me

I wont be one of those people bagging Lewis for a sensible points drive when the WDC was at stake. But he didnt do that. He got lucky rather then a sure footed drive to 3rd or 4th which gave him a buffer. Instead he seemed too defensive and left himsefl pretty vulnerable. But he got the job done so. As for the gearbox problem last year. LOL, what gearbox problem. Thats like sayign that Heikki had a gearbox problem in Australia this year Lewis hit a button on the steering wheel , there was no gearbox failure. This is from a mechanic who works at McLaren. Not the PR machine that is McLaren that always publicly defends its drivers, just like they did for Heikki in Aus when they said its the teams fault for not having considered that a driver could have made this mistake and comprmised their race...te teams fault tahat they hit the windscreen wipers when they put on a bit of oppo lock

Personally i think the current points loading is ok. Only you need to get two points for pole, this will encourage some risky fuel strategies to get up front. One point for fastest lap. And here is the one i am not sure about. You get 2 points if you overtake/gain 6 positions or more cars in a race. Only risk is that you can end up with far too complicated a sysytem. But points for pole is good. Point for fastest lap is deserved. And points for doing well from the back of the grid is deserved.
