You will find that some seats are more suitable to HANS devices and the wholes are lower. I swapped my Sparco seats and went to Racetechs due to what you have pointed out re concern over back injuries. Mind you the guy that I swapped my seats had a woopsie when I was navigating in a rally and we walked away no prob but we were wearing HANS devices in the Sparco seats.

Horner said that the team always discussed strategy before the race when interviewed by Sky. The team were really concerned about getting more than 6-8 laps and they can race up to the last pit stop

A few people have mentioned the British GP and its not the same situation. At Silverstone they were both racing to the flag and there was no pre race agreement based around a weakness in the car/strategy. Seb had nto been todl to back off and conserve car and he hadnt been told that Mark would not attack Mark caught him, had a go and he was told to back off which he eventually did. But it was a race to the flag, no car problems like they had with tyres at Spa that same year etc. In Malaysia there was an agreement before the race and the team had major concerns that the cars couldnt get the laps out of the tyres and they could throw it all away f they took off at 3-4 seconds a lap faster than the Mercs and forced each other to pt again for tyres. If you want to have a stab at Mark, Brazil last year where after the pace car he went around the outside of Seb into turn 1 when Seb broke earlier then expected was silly of Mark since Seb had the WDC to play for

Yeh, anyone that has watched F1 knows that Mark isnt the most sympathetic guy out there on tyres and often choses the harder tyre as he seems to be able to make them work better for him

The 73HTA is smaller and lighter than the 25G wheel. On paper flows more too so should be 25G like power with better response...all things being equal. Will know after Easter.

I think the Hamilton thing probably has less to do with team orders and being No.1 and more to do with the fact that there are probably clauses in Hamiltons contract that state unless he is able to score X points over a season he can walk. He would be mad to take a multi year deal without some sort of perforamance clause so suspect Ross is happier to pull a few punches to make sure Hamo gets points and contractually cant walk

Well I have a 73HTA-TD06L2, TD06H-25G and T67-25G all with 10cm housings. That is probably the order I will try them in as well. If the 73HTA is ncie and responsive and makes good power then will happily flog the other turbos off to try and fund some tyres and track days

So it seems no matter what boost we squeeze into the 20G 310rwkws is all she wrote. So the lil TD06-20G has served me well for 10 years in April this year But this week she gets retired. Whats the verdict on teh billet TD06s getting around. Have any proven they can outflow a 25G yet?

I don't want to believe you need to be a c0ckbag to be WDC. I know DC was too nice and Mika a bit of a vilian when it came to team politics. I think the talk around the traps at Jagua and Williams was that Mark was up for a bit og mind games with teammates, Thinking back Button was about the only recent WDC that isnt a egomaniac. I am still fuming about this! 3 weeks until Webber can get his anrey 2010 on and use this as his tackling fuel. The more I think about it the more I believe that Vettel needs formal dressing down. To antagonise Mark is all part of the game and thats fine. to beat him sux but is the sport. To go against the team management...Newey's reaction to what he was saying spoke volumes about the mood of the team. The only way to drive it home to the brat is wither beat him with a stick or where it hurts...in the WDC. I think they shoudl bench him for a race or at a minimum make him sit out P1 and give Buemi the Friday practice session

I didn't put anything in it. I grabbed it as it was cheap for what it was and have no idea about it really. Was nice to that it tuned up well and looks and sounds healthy I bought it years ago whilst I was in India as I wanted the head in case I ever put my RB26 bottom end in it. When i took the sump off and looked at it it seemed too good an engine to strip so just kept it and threw it in when the RB20 had the overheating problem Pretty happy with how it turned out. Pretty happy with the power it makes...just to see how it holds up to being raped at the track
