Any high performance car will cost you. For starters petrol will cost you, cuz you will need to run 98 RON. (BP Ultima) for example. Insurance = Rego is a biggy. Tyres, brake pads, it all adds up. General maintance like oil and oil filter changes, if you can do it yourself you can save on that but its b!tch of a job to get the oil filter out. Cuz the car is over 10-15 years old, things will need changing / replacing. So find a good condition R32 but also be prepared to fix things cuz they can be quite costly. But with the right type of maintanance, a RB26 will go for a very long time.

I have seen this done before, I'm sure you can buy aftermarket ones or bodykit places could sorce them for you... But I preffer the Red tail lights, It's the trade make of a Skyline. Hehehe!!!

LOL! I see where you are coming from. I like the car too. An AE86 can beat a R32 GTR, 2 x RX7, EVO III, Honda Civic, Silvia S13 and a 180SX... In an anima LOL! So thats pretty much what gave it the 'name'. So yeah thats why ppl can think they can sell it at a high price and the whole cult status. But anyway, I would not pay 20K+ for an AE86.
