Keep the stock BOV and replace your air box with an Air Pod. A pod will give you the 'Choo' noise and only when the turbo is Spooling. If you get an aftermarket BOV it will "AARRCCHOOO" even when you are not boosting = Wank Factor Or save the cash and go for a front mount intercooler. You will be benefiting the car a lot better.

Changing the timing belt would probley cost $300 $400 tops. Give or take (Approx) If you do it yourself, make sure you put the belt on correctly and must be aligned perfect. Other wise you can alter the timing and your car will be out of wack = loss of power and car runs shit. I was not there to see him change it, otherwise I could tell you what to do. No need to change your cam gears. Only do that it you want to race the car and/or adjust the angles of the cams open and closing.

LOL! I think you might have bought 'Race' brake pads and the probley have a bit of steel in them, which is why they squeel. I drove a GTR before with 'Race' pads in and it takes a race track to warm them up and not to squeel. Do what Blind elk said and see how you go.

BTW I think it only happens occationally, cuz when I turned my car off tonight, the light did not turn on. So its kinda intermitten... But still its fine. Cool!

I think its normal. Mine does a similar thing when you turn the car Off, the Turbo Timer starts, the HICAS light pops up for a split second then goes off. Iam not exactly sure what triggers the HICAS light to come on, but put it this way, the car was never designed to have a turbo timer and when one is installed, it tricks the car in still thinking its on, which it is. So I asume there is some electronic interferance but non harmful...

LOL! You pay for the refinement in the N1 Engine IMO. I would, N1 Engines can rev so smoothly to the red line, the pick up / response is so good.
