  1. I think the O2 sensor can cost upto $100 (approx), my mechanic changed both of mine and a few other things so I spent abour $300+. I gota check my invoices. I would just get a new one and your mechanic should be able to sort it all out for you. Cool!
  2. ^^Solid bro! Let us know when its ready!
  3. The O2 Sensor's job is to make sure the car is not running to lean, too rich. If its faulty then the car might be using more fuel then it should. If it needs replacing, change it and should help out your fuel consumption. Also put in a can of injector cleaner and check out your spark plugs and tyre pressure.
  4. ^^ As you all know, they are both made by Rays Engineering Wheels - Best of the Best IMO! LOL!
  5. Return the BOV back to normal and install a pod filter to get the "choo" noise.
  6. What front bar is that you got there Rav? Paint job and rims look tuff man! I like the inner yellow Volk Wheels part and your body kit looks nice. Hey Tony! Cars looking nice with the new black rims on, real nice!
  7. Here is what I can think of, Oil Oil filter Air filter / Clean pods Fuel filter Battery (If you think is getting old) Radiator Coolent Flush Brake pads / Machine Disks (If worn) Timing Belts / Fan Belts Spark Plugs Check all your tyres (Change if worn) Gear Box oil (If had not been done) Check under the car / drivetrain And do the genaral service look over. Its a big one for service. TGS Performance and Le Mans Automotive are to places I take my car to.
  8. 100,000 K's, it's one of the big ones. So change, Oil Oil filter Air filter / Clean pods Fuel filter Battery (If you think is getting old) Radiator Coolent Flush Brake pads / Machine Disks (If worn) Timing Belts / Fan Belts Spark Plugs Check all your tyres (Change if worn) Gear Box oil (If had not been done) Check under the car / drivetrain And do the genaral service look over. Thats mostly what I can think of.
  9. WTF is with all the killings. You all hear about the guy who got beat up by 2 bouncers?
  10. ^^ Japans Gentlemans Agreement between all their car manufacturers. No car was to exceed over 206 kW. The car made more power than advertised.
  11. Yeah man! Godzilla All The Way You got real lucky in making a profit on the R32. Well Done! And its good to see an all original R32 GTR. LOL! The car in my pic is actualy not mine, but similar. Send you a pic sometime. Cool!
  12. R32 GTR - Standard (22nd May 1989) R32 GTR Nismo - Standard R32 GTR but with a Body Kit, which was designed to improve the air flow to the intercooler, into the engine and down force. (22nd February 1990) R32 GTR N1 - N1 Specification Engine = Race Spec (more refined engine). The car had the ABS, A/C, Sound System, Rear Wiper and Boot Carpet were removed and light weight head lights we installed all to save weight. (19th July 1991) R32 GTR V-Spec (Victory Specification) - Upgraded brakes to Brembos, updated ATTESA E-TS (Advanced Total Traction Engineering System for All-Terrain Electronic Torque Split) and factory 17" BBS wheels and 235/45/17 tires. (3rd February 1993) R32 GTR V-Spec II - Same as V-Spec, only with wider tyres, 245/45/17. (14th February 1994) Only good thing about the V-Spec's were its Brembo brakes, other thatn that, I read that they weighed more then the standard R32 GTR's. I would pick the N1 out of all of them due to its engine refinement. Change the colour to Black or Gun Metal Grey (As the N1's only came in a Crystal White colour), add on a Nismo body kit and Nismo LMGT 4 wheels.
  13. Looks great on the paint job. Some how R32 GTR's look good with R33 GTR rims...
  14. It's all cool man. I just thought I give you my opinion, cause thats what I would do (have rear pods) if I had a R34 GTR. Having the view of you rear tyres at the size of 285's, thats friggin tuff!
  15. I think your right, if its got ZN then its indicated as a N1. Damn! Black Widow might be getting a really good deal.
  16. Put the injector cleaner in when you have about a quater of fuel left. Fill the tank up and run it though. Then change your fuel filter and spark plugs. Check your tyre pressure, (depends on your tyres) I pump mine 34 Psi all round, or 36 Psi at the front and 34 Psi at the rear. I think N/A Skylines have an O2 (Oxygen) Sensor..? If so get your mechanic to check it out. I know turbo cars have it and its job is pretty much to make sure the car is not running too lean or too rich.
  17. Yeah man! Here is a pic where the red arrow is pointing. Its like a small side skirt that just sits under the sides of the rear bar.
  18. ^^ Friggin sweet! Black TE 37 FTW. How abour getting the Nismo rear pods and It will top it off nicely...
  19. Yeah I think its a Do-Luck body kit.
  20. LOL! I think you hit the steering wheel 1st before the gauge.
  21. Where you located? Here is a SAU member selling them. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Gt...+pods&st=20 Do a Search in the For Sale Section and type in "r33 gtr rear pods". Cool!
  22. Ah yeah good point. But all depends on the condition of the car. Yes one has done less then 100,000kms But HOW was it driven..? Vicer Versa A lot of k's means its been driven a lot but Could be driven nicely... Less k's means not driven much but Could be driven hard... So what Im trying to say is, check all 3 cars and have a listen to the engine and check the condition of the engine of each car and see how you go.
  23. Don't get confused with Nismo and N1 Editions. NISMO, The Skyline GT-R 'Nismo', introduced in February 22, 1990, has a total production of 560 units as required for the "Evolution" models regulation (over 500). Its purpose is to homologate a number of aerodynamic changes used in Group A racing. Changes include additional ducts in the front bumper to improve airflow to the intercooler, a bonnet lip spoiler to direct more air into the engine bay, and an additional boot lip spoiler to provide more downforce. The 'Nismo' GT-R was only available in Gunmetal Grey. N1, The Skyline GT-R 'N1' model, introduced on July 19, 1991, was designed for home-market N1 racing with a total of 228 units produced. The most notable change was in the engine, which was upgraded to the R32-N1 specification. The car was also lightened by the removal of the ABS, air conditioning, sound system, rear wiper, trunk carpet, and the use of light-weight headlights. No color options were available and all 'N1' cars were delivered with a thin layer of Crystal White paint. I read a bit on - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skyline_gtr If it is a Nismo Edition, the main difference is that it has the Nismo Body kit, side skirts with the rear Spat as what sav man is trying to say. Engine, drivetrain etc its pretty much the same as a normal R32 GTR. Do what djr81 said by getting the Build / Vin numbers when you go down and have a look at the car. BTW the pictures you took of the car, 1. Its white (N1, maybe) 2. There is no spats on the side skirts but its got the intercooler ducts, bonnet lip spoiler and boot lip spoiler. (Nismo but not complete) 3. Its got a CD Player and Aircond (So just a normal R32 GTR) 4. No rear wiper + no rear wiper contol switch (Signs point to N1) All speculations but it does not really all add up to make it either a NISMO or N1. Again get the Build / Vin Numbers to be sure. Cool!
  24. All depends on what you want to use the car for, Daily, Street, Track (Circut / Drag)? How much power you want to achieve? Then work out whats the best set up.
