  1. I think Mr BlackTemplar or however you spell it is out that way?
  2. Its kinda like watching a cross between WTAC and the Redbull air race though with all these feckin wings
  3. I have the XSPURT 2000's and they havent missed a beat since they have been in
  4. Probably unrelated to your issues, mine was completely the wrong injector, not rated for E85 causing the O rings to swell... They were some POS 1400cc things!
  5. I had a lot of fuel temp issues due to dodgy injectors and kept getting major lean outs, mine was actually due to an O ring swelling in my injectors after changing everything else... The fuel cooler does a pretty good job now and on track it keeps the pumps pretty quiet, however it was only fitted as the fuel temp was an issue due to something causing it, not just due to track use. The amount of times i had my injectors out was silly, turns out they were the wrong ones! They look near identical side by side too.
  6. SAU NSW Exec team was approached by Nulon and given the task to select the teams and as i had some free time i took it on... I arranged both rounds one and two and for round three i needed help so i couldnt think of anyone better than our fearless drag guru Kat! 2015 will be the same deal, i believe that the guys that put in the time and effort to make 2014 such a great success will also get some form of priority when it comes to doing the teams, the event is not sorted as yet but it sounds like the teams will be smaller in 2015 which is going to make things even tougher! The Hillclimb at Buladelah was hard to fill a team as not many wanted to make the treck, the track day was the exact opposite, it was hard to pick and choose BUT the guys that actually made the effort to represent SAU at Buladelah were given priority, it will likely be the same situation for 2015. All of the guys that competed in those 2 rounds actually offered to represent SAU in round 3 as well to back up all round but the decision was made to send some super quick cars to get Nulon the publicity it deserved for arranging an epic event, and also so we could take the win The guys that competed this year all put a lot of time and money into prepping the cars and as a result of the track days some breakages occured (I even blew a gearbox prepping for the event)... So a big THANKYOU to all of them... And again well done! Also the idea of posting it in the NSW section is that it was a club event so it was put there to get the regular SAU members involved.
  7. Epic update is epic! Nice work mate... See you in a few weeks
  8. I just realised on this... You can see the car that spun, it was David Muscat with the 1.20 lap on the same lap he slowed me down Was still pretty funny though
  9. Been trying that, so far so good Just a custom setup made by JEM... There are pics in my build thread somewhere
  10. Fuel temp should be sweet on mine as i have the cooler setup... Oil pressure, well ill monitor it and fix it if it causes me a hassle.
  11. I agree, the rule would have made it interesting to see who had the best all rounder... However we played with the rules and took advantage of them 2015 planning is currently underway so all feedback will be noted.
  12. We did our best over the 3 rounds and had a lot of support! To all the guys and gals that came to the 3 events a big THANKS Lol still would have beaten me even with a busted radiator
  13. Exactly. And its up to the clubs to give Nulon something back for making the event happen I believe SAU has done the best it can to achieve that.
  14. We planned on sticking to the same guys too but Nulon wanted to attract crowds and no better way to do that then bring 1000hp skylines
  15. Same applied for Round 2 in terms of team work. We had quite a lot of support come to the track and help around the pits etc... These guys are what makes SAU a fantastic club to be a part of... Although they were not driving they were still a big part of the team!
  16. No, and it likely wont get fixed on this motor. It is holding up fine, just have to drive around the issue for now. The car is still strong and pretty reliable. First event i havent really lifted the bonnet for anything other than a quick check that everything was still where it was meant to be
  17. It is an interesting rule they have created but we must operate within their regulations. It does not take away the fun of the day Its still a cheap bit of fun
  18. Yep was short shifting to 4th on the straights to keep the revs down until i sort that oil pressure issue... May be a tad slower in sections but it worked
  19. The rules were changed after the first event by Nulon themselves. We were the only team to keep it all within our make at least, we ran all Nissans. We could have kept Skylines and still won the event but decided to mix it up a little in the final round. All of our members offered to back up the rounds but it was decided between Kat and Myself that we would put a strong team together for the last round and take out the series I could have run the airport round but decided i would step aside and let the faster guys through! I think it was a wise choice as the team Kat put together was a kick ass combo! Winning is always going to upset the first loser... Suck it Evo's lol!
