  1. Lol wow!! Mine hasnt proven too bad so far but will be bringing 100L spare just incase!
  2. Hmmmm maybe i am not driving mine hard enough as it doesnt seem to go through it that quickly...
  3. In the engine bay you will see the little rezzy near the brake fluid... the brake fluid is a bright yellow cap and the clutch i think should be a black rubbery type cap! Just take it off being careful not to spill any fluid on paintwork and see what it looks like, you should actually be able to see the level without taking the cap off but i would check the condition anyway as its more than likely due for a full flush as most get neglected! When are you trying to put it in first while in motion? Not something you need to do too often?
  4. If its first and reverse then check over the clutch system, how is the fluid? How does the pedal feel and where does it engage?
  5. No, you are just a pussy!
  6. Awesome! Well stay tuned and we will see what we can do
  7. If you are getting him to make you one you should be able to have it where you like
  8. Hopefully see you guys on a cruise soon
  9. I might hit him up... Probably tell me to fark off though lol I saw the one that cut the chassis etc and it nearly scared me off until i got the full story and realised it was due to a shonky second hand flywheel and dowels missing etc etc...... Once i realised that it was not the fault of the clutch and then researched all the big names and big powered cars using them i decided to run one! I do love the clutch ill admit!
  10. Next project is to protect the back of the core from rocks from the front tyre.... And THEN try work out some ducting to get it some airflow as we ran it nice and high to keep it out of harms way.... I wanted to locate some of the vents that Andrew has in the front of his standard GTT bar but no luck so far! Looks like an aftermarket foglight surround or something but would be good as a small duct for airflow!
  11. Not in the oil block! Sounds like you have it covered.... I just ran the 3 factory location gauges with Oil Temp, Oil Pressure and Water temp!
  12. Will never live it down.... Bloody Mani!
  13. Lol you cant read, we cant remember! Must be an SAU thing..... But yes they do have a thermostat! The guys at Greddy were awesome to deal with too! If you want to run gauges make sure you order the adapters for them (Where the blanking plugs are in the image on my thread)
  14. With out shitty memories combined
  15. Yeah sounds like a good combo! I thought it was 86 degrees or something but that is pushing my memory and my memory is generally useless
  16. Where is it? I am sure there is 2 sides to the story or Race Clutch would not exist today... I'm just saying that at present there are thousands of JB clutches out there being punished and no failures being heard of... PJ Still has feet, Matouks Still have feet, Nytdave and I still have feet! So i am trying to understand how one comment online can tarnish a companies reputation to the people reading that are not aware of the great success stories that also exist...
  17. Wow! What setup are you running
  18. Lol, i am still half alive too ya kent! Stop focussing on the negatives Some back/leg pain issue has been keeping me down for a while.... Nothing some GATE cant fix! And yes we need to get Mr Chookie out one night, Carmen saw him at her work the other day so we will have to arrange to catch up at some stage! And LOL, that will be stuck in my head for ages now ya kent
  19. Oil temps were horrible and would climb FAST.... The stock gauge i had was reading the sort of temps you were getting and it was all bad news The core is just this one - http://justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=16869&cat=299&page=1 I figured i could always upgrade it later once i worked out what i was doing with the front end etc... Oil temps now are very stable, with the new gauge it seems to sit on 90ish and only goes up if pushed hard but seems to recover quickly too! I havent seen it go over 100 yet! Ill admit the radiator actually dropped the oil/water temps too, when first running the stock radiator and cooler it was OK but not overly impressive.... NOW with the bigger Racepace radiator etc fitted everything is more stable, i assume my engine was running warmer with the pissy stock 34 rad!
  20. Mine runs a thermostat! It does take a while to get up to temp but it has a pretty good cooling system setup now I am due to replace my engine/coolant thermostat as the car has been running cold so i assume once that is all done it should all work together nicely!
  21. Ooh forgot all about this post... Should probably do something about this
  22. I think its a lot of heresay to be honest! You are very Anti JB clutches but generally fail to provide any evidence of things happening! JB uses factory or other manufactures pressure plates in a lot of cases so i cant see how they are to blame! The one in my car is a special pressure plate and is very thick! I went with the thicker setup and heavier flywheel to be safe!
  23. Yep, here i went looking for ya - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/358438-34geeteetee-daily-track-project/page-25
