Apple are good, And Dell are good for PC, they are all we use in our organization. Have over 4000 machines.. Dell are good with price and performance. Depends on what you want Pc or apple

Those dam manuals are expensive......

My Point is... You don't look for bigger injectors if your not going to run bigger Injectors !!!

Ok.... I was scrolling though the forum as usual and I found this post by Magic1 a while ago. That thing that really caught my eye was the "Bigger then factory" are they really running stock injectors? So the question remains.... magic1 Registered User Name: tristan Age: 24 Location: perth Car(s): R33 GTST Join Date: Jan 2004 Trader Rating: (0) Bigger RB25det injectors -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Looking for 6 clean RB25DET injectors, bigger than factory. Anyone got any? Please PM me. Give your plugs a re-gap to .7 and see what happens, if it works at that plug level you could have week coils. Also change the filter foam, if the filter is comming apart that is not a good thing.

Also, Do you have a blow off valve that could be leaking boost ??
-
For running, I do first 500km with running in oil, with plenty of range drive, eg putting load on the motor with out boosting it and with out going past 3000rpm. If you rings don't seat properly with the running in oil they won't once you do a change to synthetic, so make sure you put load on the motor with out boosting and with out revving too high.... Once you get to about 500 - 550km do a full oil change with straight synthetic, and just take it easy until about 1000km.. And then slow bring it up from then on....

You have to either make up a Throttle bracket and get a longer throttle cable, I have found going to a wreckers yard and getting an older model Nissan pintara cable works great. You also have to extend to connectors as they don't reach under the plenum to connect onto things like the AAC valve, so if you’re experienced in extending connections that shouldn't be a problem. Vacuum and water lines, only need to be trimmed up to fit. They are simple. Apart from that, theirs nothing else really to it.

Don't forget to upgrade your fuel pump... That’s the biggest thing over looked when modding a skyline.... And can lead to disaster if left stock...

I would go standard copper, They are much cheaper then Iridium’s. The 6ES should be fine... Although NGK recommend PFR5G-11 for 93 - 98 for GTS-T I reckon they are too hot for our climate.

Max RWKW from R33 GTS-T stock internals?
BBQ replied to JAPCAB's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
The main reason was because the cars were thrashed pretty hard for about 6 - 8 months, and onces they were up around 100,000km mark they tend to become pretty week in the ring-lands. and just couldn't take it any more. It was more a less an experiment to see how long and how much we could get out of a stock motor. as we had planned for a fully forged internal re-builds. Too tell you the real reson why, Is we fitted an AVC-R into the car and had it comming on fully boost by 2500 all the way though to red-line. And after a few runs at that setup, it just blew the ring lands. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/photopost.../sort/1/cat/all Pic of piston here.... -
I'm running 6's in my car at the moment, with around 15psi, but the plugs have been re-gapped to around .7 - .8, and haven't had any problems, the only reason I would go 7's is if I’m getting detonation or pre-ignition, where the plugs is re-taining the heat and as soon as fuel is pumped into the cylinder it ignites, at the wrong time... But with stock boost you won't have anything to worry about. So most people go 7's if thier running more then stock boost, and usualy for a saftey thing.

Well unfortunately the original thread was stated that you made 511hp with stock injectors, Now your saying that you only made 450, and the fact that this thread is now 6 pages going on to 7 pages long, makes it a little harder to find the correct answer. So basically you didn’t make 511 Hp as Steve has stated, which he should go back an re-edit the post to the correct figure. Because thier is a big difference between a car that makes 450 hp and a car that makes 511hp.
-
Ok well how come the original post is: How much power did the motor put out ? As the original thread states 511rwhp ?

We have had 2 Rb25dets, with just stockish mods blow ring lands on pistons and melt number 6 pistons, At around 190 - 200rwkw mark, So pushing any more then that with defiantly reduce the reliability of the motor and it will only be a matter of time until you blow the ring lands, as they are the weakest point on the rb25 motor. I personally would save up some $ instead of modding it now.... and do the pistons and even by a set of GTR rods for insurance, and then blot on your turbo, injectors, computer, other wise it become very expensive when you do blow your ring lands and score your bore, damage your valves, and so on. Your maching bill goes up very quickly. -
Actually 6's are a hotter plug, 7 are a colder. you had it the wrong way round :-)
-
Ok, Now I bet all the turbo critics come out now. That’s not possible to get 511hp out of a 500hp turbo, its way past its efficiency...

Ok so it seems, that Steve-SST and Sydney Kid, are having a argument so, is this why this thread was created ? How about we get both Sydney Kid and Steve-SST, in a boxing ring and they can vent their disagreements out their ? Instead of trying to prove who is better then who. My theory is, if you want to prove who is better then who, in Car land, Don’t do it on a dyno, Do it on a 1/4mile with the same tyre setup and the same driver for both cars. Ohh yes and on the same Strip.
-
Are we able to see a picture of the car ? eg, engine bay ? setup and so on ? And also the dyno graph would be good ? Also if your running it down the strip, It can't be with slick either, as you said its a street trim setup.....
