  1. And a 1967 XR GT Falcon With a 351 Windsor, Twin Turbo puts out: 630HP, and runs ET: 10.6 @ MPH: 128
  2. I think you could class a sleeper as ray halls car, His Lexus Is200 has had a transplant with a Supra 2JZ motor and a big turbo bolted on, puting out 443hp at the wheels, It really does look like family car.
  3. For general Intrest, No that car didn't survive, As it was running stock fuel pump, stock internals, stock ecu, and 13psi BOOST !!!!
  4. Try Taking your boost reading from the standard boost gauge setup instead of the fuel pressure vacuum line, As it may be loosing pressure causing the regulator to open and close giving you surging.
  5. That’s pretty impressive. Download the divx player here if you can't view it: http://www.divx.com/divx/download/
  6. Sorry my bad, Miss read the part about the rods... they put the rods in around the wrong way....
  7. What type of con-Rods did you use ?
  8. Chasing a R33 GTS-T Series 2 Oxygen Sensor. Any one able to help Cheers
  9. Ok what power fc are you running ? RB25Det ? Or Rb26dett ?
  10. Are you still running the stock ECU ?
  11. Bam, Out comes the Ego!!!! This forum becomes more and more exciting every minute.
  12. Your auto will be slipping; Best bet is to take it to a mechanic that deals with Auto cars. He can diagnose it from their. If not check your fuel filter/replace it. They can sometimes cause that.
  13. Sk, The original post was about putting a GTR Plenum on a RB25 ? Not a GTR? what are your thoughts on that ?
  14. If you want to be harsh against Brent go for it. But just remember that if you were to purchase that Power FC from anywhere else in Japan, how long do you think its going to take ? at least 2 months before they even think about doing anything. And the fact that the price of the FC is ridiculously cheap and you only got $150 duty, your still saving a few hundred dollars compared to buying it in Australia where it retails for $1500 + So don’t complain, as Brent is only a single man setup over their and he can’t take care of every ones needs all at once. And why are you complaining about: “then to top it off he got fined $150 by customs coz old mate in japan didnt declare anything” ???? Any product over $1000 gets hit with customs regardless. SO STOP COMPLAINING!
  15. Originally this thread was started about upgrading RB25det Internals, The week link in an rb25 motor is usually the Ring lands on the standard pistons, and the Con-Rods once you start pushing serious power out. It becomes a reliability issue, to upgrade the rods while you’re doing the pistons at the same time. I know of many rb25 motors pushing rods out the block that’s why a cheaper alternative is to upgrade to the Rb26 Rod system. So you don’t have to incurring the cost of forged items up front. The crank as many other people all ready know, is a reasonably strong item in the rb series motors. That’s why it doesn’t appeal to skyline owners who want reasonable horse power on a low budget. As Jun has stated the cost of a crank from Japan isn’t cheap. And not viable until your planing on competing against GTR700. The actual size of the rods dose not determine its strength. If you compared the standard rb26 rods against the forged rb26 rods they are not really that much bigger in physical size, What actually makes them stronger is the material compound they are made out of. Hence the process of forging. As for rod bolts you would be crazy not to replace them with New blots or at-least ARP blots to sustain the integrity of your motor.
  16. Steve, I have a question for you... Tell me the reason why Sr ARP bolts won't work on Rb26 Rods ?
  17. Nup they work fine, we have just done 2 motors one with Forged Pistons and Forged crower rods. Using RB26 forged crower rods on a RB25. Also I will take photos of my setup with, Rb25, using Rb26 Rods and Sr20 ARP Rod bolts. to confirm they work. When we checked the rod bolts the SR's were actually longer then the standard RB25 Rod bolts. Also the photo attached is of the current Rb25 We built, with the forged rb26 crower rods and Arias Pistons. I will upload another one before we put the sump on.
  18. The ARP SR bolt is going on a Rb26 Rod not 25 ? Can any one confirm if they will work ?
  19. Ok lets get somthing stright here... Your saying that Sr bolts won't fit on Rb26? Are you talking about the motor or the rods ? because I'm talking about the 26 rods with a 25 Crank ?
  20. That’s funny, Because my motor has just been assembled from the machining place and they used SR20 Bolts, checked them with the standard rods against the 26 rods and they were fine.
  21. SR20 ARP bots are the same for RB series motors, They will work with GTS-T rods and GTR Rods. The only problem is they come in a pack of 4 so you have 2 bolts left over.
