  1. Are you saying every single 'importer' in Australia exclusevely buys their cars through Yahoo Auctions? I can assure you thats not the case.
  2. Sorry, been really busy so haven't had the time to translate. I can do it on the weekend sometime though, if theres anyone that can do it before then, could they?
  3. Tuned by Racing Garage Blackline, all their cars are pretty hardcore - they'll tune anything really - but as you guessed correctly, they specialize in drag racing. I can't tell you what kind of turbo was installed, but rest assured that it would have been GT30 or T67 size judging by their other drag tuned cars.

Yeah, it's just an R31 Skyline wagon Christian. R31 House probably has the best modified R31's:

  9. These were done with 'shutter priority' with shutter speeds ranging from 5 secs to 20 secs with an aperture of f4.5 or there abouts. I wanted to play with the white balance and other little things that the Nikon D70 has in it's menu's, but the guys at my location turned the lights off on me... thats why theres only one kinda dark image with the pretty little lights on the trees :boohoo:

    New Nismo Concept???

I'm still trying to figure out how it's part of the 'Nismo family'???
  13. This is a classic: About 6 years ago I was with my younger brother in his S13 Silvia (it was stock), and these two losers in a VN roll up beside us at the lights on our right. My bro's air con needed regassing so we had our windows down all the way, so the losers in the VN roll theirs down while just pointing and laughing at us... really ironic as their VN was the biggest piece of sh!t with chrome hubcaps and body moulding unstuck and drgging on the ground. Anyway, they start (omg - this is just so unexpected! ) revving their engine. At this point my bro had full composure and just started picking his nose... what a champ. The lights go green and VN makes a loud noise and off he goes down the road breaking the speed limit obviously. So we take off normally and up ahead the VN *slamms* on their brakes just as they go past a cop on a motorcylce coming out of a carpark... teh VN slowed right down and as we drove past them we just start pointing and laughing as those VN 'tards just sink in their seats... 30 seconds later they get pulled over...
  14. Believe it or not, those pics above are the bulk of the Nismo GT-R 'article'. Theres a full size side-on shot of the Nismo GT-R, but alot of the info I got was from a comparison chart of all the GT-R's together with all the associated specs and sizes etc. Other than that, not much. It's in the 'GT-R Memorial' book which I think quite a few members have on these forums.
  15. It's coming with me. All the Perth members can check out how crap it REALLY is... lol

I find the best way is to use kanji or katakana/hiragana... for example the request you had above for 'Revolver Osaka', I typed in ” リボルバー大阪 ” into Google and the correct link was the 3rd one down the list. But of course you need to know what to type in Japanese... You can also type : 'ランエボ' for 'Lancer Evolution' 'ハチロク' for AE86 '中古車' for 'used car' etc But mostly I just type the katakana name of the car eg: 'シビック', rather than type the chassis code unless I want something specific like 'ボンネットHCR32用' (bonnet for HCR32).

  19. Ok, on the PDF, location #6 IGN 20A 'Front Wipers'. It seems odd that they don't work... for an R32 or older it seems possible but an R34? I hope it's only a fuse thats the problem.
  20. Yep, point taken. LOL @ exporting Japanese cops Btw @ everybody: I've had my rant for quite a few days now, and I'm starting to see exactly what I like and don't like about this place. If anything, I hope that you guys that are interested in this thread can see the frustration in my posts, largely due to me not being able to do very much to help my position right now. I'm not discounting the fact that you could spend a blissful 3 years here without a care in the world (quite possible). My last piece of advice is: PLEEEESE make a back up plan before you leave your home country, I didn't, so when everything goes wrong you have a good platform to get out. Cheers all those who replied, it's helped me alot. Justin
  21. Hmmm, I guess what you mean is "thank god the Japanese traffic cops are so lenient"? If they felt like it, they could throw the book at you... at anyone thats down there supporting illegal drift. **Edit: I mean that above comment as in 'there ARE rules', so for all the guys who are considering coming here, please be aware that the Japanese authorities are very lenient towards foreigners to a point, but if you push the boundaries... you're out. Them being lenient is a kind of gift really, I think alot of foreigners here don't deserve it (not meaning you Jess coz of your drifting, more like the assholes who screw J-girls just to get money or whatever out of them).

Sony Sonpo - http://www.sonysonpo.co.jp/N0000000.html is who I use. Pretty cheap.
  23. Just being honest Dave, and yes, after 2 years of 'promoting Japan' (I can't actually ever remember 'recommending' anyone coming here aside from the motorsport stuff) things have changed. If I can give my 2c, Japan isn't a 'no rules, no care' wonderland for foreigners to come here and have the best time of their lives... thats all I'm saying. If you guys can actually read into what I've posted, it's not hate but disappointment that you should be sensing. After 5 years of helping this country, I'm still at square one with no options but to go home and start again. I admit, I'm probably most to blame (poor choices or whatever), but as I've been doing all along, I just want the guys on here to have both sides of the coin. I'll say it one more time, Japan isn't all rosey and smelling lemon fresh... it's just manufactured (advertised/public don't know any better) that way.
