  1. Maybe Mr Dodgy should get the "man love" tag on the back of his ute too. Reckon he's into it given a certain pic I've seen.
  2. Not sure I believe that. Sounds like they're backpedalling with a piss weak excuse. I'd like to see a copy of the formal letter they're sending, just to clarify. But if it is how it sounds, they really do need to get a fkn life!
  3. Yeah, after I posted that, I got thinking "its got to be ... my Dolphin side skirts and rear kip is fibreglass".
  4. Why can't we all just get along?
  5. Yeah, I know that dodgy bastard too!
  6. Roughly when does the Blackwood pageant finish? Might have a suitable meet spot in mind.
  7. +1 $450 I recall for the ECU. Thats if its still available. The thread was killed by some non-buyers tearing at it.
  8. Your boss has a sickness. Please understand that not all people have discovered the awesomeness of cruises! Will start PMing the details after the weekend, so I can just do 1 or 2 group PMs.
  9. +1 Got mine done earlier this year. They guy is good at towbars. I too got mine for the odd towing jobs for the house, and towing my bike around.
  10. I'll also have with me some membership forms for the SAU-SA Club for those who'd be interested in: joining a CAMS affiliated club SA members only section access on SAU discounts on events, such as shows, trackdays, go karting, and dyno days discounts from our sponsors, including Autobarn, Willall, Ministry of Bass, Blackwood Tyre Power and many others club shirts, caps and stickers I'm the Club Secretary, so I gotta mention it
  11. To all, Figured I'd jump onto the next Stagea cruise quickly as the date I have in mind is just over 3 weeks away. Friday 3rd December 2010. Meet time of 8.00pm for 8.30pm departure. By the time we get to Lobethal, it'll be dark and we can enjoy the lights. Meet point to be advised by PM. I will hand out maps of the route there and back on the night.
  12. Last weekend's cruise WAS a victor cruise. We only went to the Whalers once (2 years ago), and the prices on the menu caught a few peeps out. This time we just ate at good old KFC. Parked at the shopping centre and gave people a choice on where to get food from. Less $ in ya belly and more $ in ya fuel tank = more cruising. Next cruise will be a night cruise to see the Lobethal lights. I'll work out a date, but may be early December on a Friday night.
  13. Fk me! How'd I miss this? I'll take them if they come back up for grabs.
  14. Aaron, if you come on that night time Stag cruise, I wouldn't mind comparing my bar with yours, as far as the overhang is concerned. If yours has less overhang, I'd be interested (would like some more clearance). And I'm assuming yours is plastic, not fibreglass? Ruby
  15. I've got an alarm, hidden kill switch and club lock. Stagea is normally parked right outside my office window, or outside my bedroom window in a secure front yard (high fences and automatic gate), and cctv cameras ... and if they get past all that, I can track my car wherever they take it. I have car insurance ... they'd wanna hope they have health insurance.
  16. I actually pulled up next to a 1600 wagon yesterday near Aldinga on the way back from a Stagea cruise. I was totally thinking "damn ... wish I still had my CA18DET 1600".
  17. I had indeed taken the wrong turn at the roundabout. Was hoping no one noticed and I got away with it Was an okay run except for that idiot Camry driver. Thanks for tagging along guys. I'm keen to get a night cruise happening soon and we'll hit up the Lobethal christmas lights. I'm sure the kids would love that.
  18. Cool. I'm a long time member of Ozdat back when it was a simple classifieds forum. I only frequent Ozdat now when I want cheap parts. I'm Ruby on there and I had the blue SR20 supercharged 200B. Can I get a pm and I'll tag along.
  19. To all, A small change to the meet time. We will meet at 10.00am for a 10.30am departure ... (not 9.30 meet and 10.00 departure as first advised). This change is simply because I'm putting on a romantic night for the missus the night before ... and I might keep my testicles longer if I don't rush our checkout from the hotel I will amend my previous posts in this thread to reflect this change.
  20. I grew up with family into rallying, drag racing, circuit racing ... all in cars and on bikes. So it was a no brainer that I was going to inherit those genes. Rebuilt my first 2 stroke motor at 14, and was servicing the family cars at 16. My first car was my uncle's TC Cortina street/drag car. Did lackey work in workshops from 16-18 then went on to spray painting. Applied to be a RAAF aircraft technician, but an injury at the time stopped me, so settled for working on cars. Had a real head and heart for it back then ... now I just got the head for it. Got fed up with working on cars for a job, so now I just tinker with cars for a hobby as its more enjoyable. I've done some stupid projects over the years, including a 13B 1600, supercharged SR20DE in a 200B, CA18DET in a 1600, and many other dumb projects that should never have been built (turboed CBR1000 drag bike being one) I do all my own work on my cars and bikes, and have done so for more than 20 years. I've even helped out a few SAU members with their cars and shown them a few things to learn along the way too. I'm all for people learning to DIY.
  21. Nah dude, thats a fail at Wolverine
  22. Been suffering the flu all week, and I've got to do an install at work after-hours tonight ... so I'll be here for a few hours then going home to bed to rest.
