  1. Forgot about this ... PM sent.
  2. Are they stock coils or aftermarket? I'm assuming stock, or you'd want them yourself I'm willing to throw some $ your way for the stock coilpacks swap if you're serious about it, and not just in a 'don't give a f**k' mood about the car. You might as well get something back. Where are you located? I'll be swing past Boostworx in the morning if you want to tag along and see what you can remove
  3. Tell Shaun at boostworx to swap the coilpacks over with my faulty ones so I can have good coilpacks

    Jokes!

A kiwi walks into his bedroom carrying a sheep in his arms and says: "Darling, this is the pig I have sex with when you have a headache." His girlfriend is lying in bed and replies: "I think you'll find that's not a pig but a sheep, you idiot." The man says: "Shut up, I wasn't talking to you."

NZ Earthquake A major earthquake, measuring 9.1 on the Richter scale has hit New Zealand this morning. The country is devastated with 350,000 New Zealanders missing, and over 100,000 injured. The country is totally ruined and the government is so overwhelmed that it has issued a worldwide appeal for assistance. Other nations have been quick to respond to the disaster. Britain is flying in rescue workers and sniffer dogs to help locate trapped victims. The USA is flying in food supplies and aid money. France is flying in doctors, nurses and first aid units. Japan is flying in high tech communications equipment. Germany is flying in special trained police squads to help restore order. Russia is flying in tents and warm clothing. Australia is flying in 350,000 replacement Kiwis.......
  6. No. The ebay seller will say they are ... but they're not. I made that mistake. Pointed out the error to the seller, and he apologised and all, said return them for a refund. He never refunded me, and he's still selling tie rods that do not fit S2 Stagea.
  7. Yeah, had a problem with getting the car tuned ... then had a problem early saturday morning with the rear exhaust hanger snapping and dragging my Zigen muffler on the ground. By the time I got it all sorted the morning was gone. More good news now is the misfire issue has been resolved. Now the Stag loves to rev, and rev, and rev some more. On a side note, stag made a lazy 156awkw on 10psi @ 4,100 rpm due to misfire cutting in. Would really love to see the numbers now she revs out, on 14psi Will get booked in for a touch up tune/more boost now she's fixed.
  8. Nice vid there Vu. Too bad I couldn't make it. Got begged to chauffeur my Stagea for a wedding. Had issues with the Stagea on the weekend and just got her sorted in time for Dave's (dmonic) wedding.
  9. I replaced my tierod ends. Went original Nissan. Purchased from JIS tho for under $100. Don't buy the ebay rubbish. Go to JIS.
  10. Using a hoist is the smartest and easiest thing to do. Don't like your idea of a haphazard way of doing things. Jamie, get access to a hoist and the right tools.
  11. Yeah, as mentioned in post #2, long extension bar and an engine hoist will make job easy. LukeENR34 might have a hoist you can use. Give him a PM. He knows what he's doing.
  12. If you have access to a hoist it can be done. Remove tailshaft and undo gearbox crossmember. It will tilt the engine back enough to get a socket on a long extension bar to the bolts at the top of the bellhousing.
  13. If you know where to look, there's plenty of vids where that stupid shit has gone wrong in Russia. One even shows a cop stopping a speeding rider and killing him. Russia is messed up.
  14. When you say dash, you mean instrument cluster? (speedo etc) When Adam doesn't take it, I'll take dibs
  15. I'll try to be there by 7.30pm. I think I've got a fouled plug in the TLR from it sitting around for a year and not being run enough. Got a new set of plugs. Problem is I gotta pull half the bodywork apart and move the radiator to get to the v-twin engine. Anyone who's owned a fully faired v-twin sportsbike can atest. But I've done this a million times in the 10 years I've owned the bike, so I reckon I can perform a miracle. In other bad news, the tuner can't find the problem with my Stagea. Hope I can get her back by the end of the day
  16. I think this got a bit side tracked when Kahli refered to "defect free ribbons". Tom has explained it a lot better, and its good to see some people trying to improve things for cruises in Adelaide. As mentioned above, you all want cruises ... so here is one to attend. At the end of the day, you either go on the cruise or you don't. Sounds good to me, so I may just be in attendance if I have no other commitments. Can we get back on topic now please
  17. TLR is running and regoed. Guess I'm riding tonight
  18. Yes and no. Whilst the ribbon might represent that you're participating in a charity cruise, it does not mean any car on the cruise will be defect free. Kahli, I would emphasise the fact that the donations from the ribbons will go to the charity, but not have 'defect free' as your main emphasis for people wanting a ribbon.
  19. I thought we all talked you into keeping it
  20. He's already been in contact with me
  21. My car will be at Boostworx tomorrow, so I hope to have her back and running sweet. TLR is unregistered at the moment, and having starting issues ... but I am toying with the idea of throwing rego on her tomorrow. "Bring the noise!"
  22. Yeah, time to ensure you've got adequate security. When I heard Rodders stag got nicked, I figured an immobiliser, hidden kill switch and club lock just wouldn't do the job no more ... so the stag is now kitted out with a full alarm install and gps tracker (and still using the club lock and hidden kill switch). And I'm never usually very far from the stag, so lets see the mongrels come for mine Sorry to hear about the theft. Hope you're lucky and you get it back in original/reasonable condition.
  23. I have a black series 2 Stagea I could help out with if you're stuck for a Stagea ... and mine runs Its going in for a tune on Friday too ... so she'll be sweet as for the day. I will also be calling upon the same favour for 13 March 2011, when I'll be getting married too.
  24. As above ^^^ Its not a hard job really, just alot of work and fiddly things to do. But I've changed over a few turbos now, so it gets easier for me
