  1. Its only a bad thing if you think it is.
  2. This is Adelaide, of course it will rain tomorrow
  3. That might be the most useful input I've had yet. I've converted my AT Stagea to manual. Is there a chance something in the ecu is causing the misfire (limiting revs) because I fooled the ecu to thinking the car is in neutral so I can start it? EDIT: scratch that ... I've had the car on the dyno twice since the manual conversion and its definitely revved past 5,000rpm without problems before.
  4. Back on topic ... Changed AFM over with a loaned AFM to try and resolve why my stag hits a 5,000rpm limiter ... misfires all over the place. But didn't eliminate the problem. I've been going thru the elimination process with: checked cas timing replaced plugs and gap replaced coilpacks replaced air filter replaced fuel filter replaced O2 sensor replaced MAF Checked all old plugs and they were an even, nice colour. My A/F Ratio meter is telling me the mixtures are rich up top. But I've touched nothing since my last tune. Try a few more things, then I'll just throw it to the tuners. Hoping to save myself some $$$ first. On the weekend, I'm also going to check the compression in each cylinder for the hell of it.
  5. This is awfully close to my return from Perth. I'll see how I'm feeling and if I've recovered. Put a +1 on too for Tracy. We'll both be 75% there at this stage.
  6. That sucks. Another one. We definitely need a bait car and some baseball bats.
  7. Manual GTR box for sale on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/JDM-Nissan-Skyline-...rts_Accessories Not mine, or anyone I know ... just trying to encourage someone to do that manual conversion they KNOW they want
  8. I have the new members cards ready for mailout today, but I can deliver yours personally tomorrow night. I'll also be bringing the stickers too.
  9. Thanks for your assistance girls. Every little bit helped for our Best Club Attitude win, so you girls had a role in that Can we get you again for Extreme HP?
  10. No worries I've learnt most people go straight for looking for a leak on the bigger pipes (fmic and hoses). But the little vacuum lines are brittle over time and can crack and leak, and cause just as many headaches hunting down. Oh, and if you ever get the chance, give your idle control valve a good clean with carby cleaner too. And, lastly, ensure nothing 'rubs' against your fmic, as this can cause a "hard to find" leak also.
  11. Right ... thats it. Another Skyline stolen? I'm going to fit a bomb into my stagea, which I can remote detonate via mobile if it gets stolen.
  12. Shift kit and service will definitely sort that shit out You'll be looking at around $500 for the shift kit. Perhaps try changing your trans fluid in the meantime to see if that makes a noticable difference.
  13. Check the CAS timing first. Thats free. Then check you have no lose clamps under your bonnet leaking air ... especially the smaller vacuum type hoses. The ones under the crossover pipe do tend to split over time. This check is free too. Then try giving your AFM a clean. Especially if you run an oiled filter. Then try replacing your plugs. Gap them to 0.8mm. Reset your ecu too. If the problem persists, the consider replacing your coilpacks, and even your O2 sensor.
  14. Replaced the plugs in my Stag and replaced the coilpacks too. Checked the CAS timing and reset the ECU while I was at it. Also chasing why my brakes makes this loudish acoustics noise when its moving backwards (rolling back or reversing). Makes no noise moving forward. Got new pads and bedded them in on the track. They were fine up until I had to reverse out of my driveway for the first time with them. NOTHING is rubbing the rotors except the pads.
  15. They loved paying out that Hyundai eh. And lol at the minors.
  16. ^^^ Hmm, wonder how they'd look on the stagea
  17. Here are some I managed to get a hold of:
  18. I was around mostly in the arvos on both days. I almost came in with my tools and jack to take your rims! Nothing fancy under the bonnet atm. Put stock air box back in ... but I am going to get AM Performance to do some piping for me, as I want to put the Neo cover back on. I'll also be getting some chroming done under there too Just a matter of $$$ I've got my forms for Extreme, but not lodged yet. Tinkering with the idea of entering my Brutale or Stagea ... or both! I hope to have a respray on the Stagea by then. Mate of mine is loaning me his booth and equipment. You coming to this cruise on sunday?
  19. Your stag looked f'n hot Mike. Couldn't stop drooling over those rims. I got some pics too of your stag. I'll post them up tomorrow. Good to see another stag there. You going to Extreme?
  20. I've got Wilko's R34 rotors now. But I do have R33 GTST rotors if that helps? Got the 34 rotors on now, so the 33 rotors are for sale.
  21. I've got a good set of front R33 GTST S2 rotors for sale - $100 cheap.
