Mate, FANTASTIC DIY. My window switch has been playing up for the last few weeks and has been getting progressively worse. I was thinking about buying a whole new switch, but decided to try your DIY and it worked wonders. Now it works like it just rolled off the factory floor. Thanks again! Very happy!

So just to clarify, you had the same mods as me + an Apexi SAFC and yours made 290hp/ 218 odd kw at the wheels?

Hi Guys, I currently own a S2 R33 with the following mods/upgrades: Front mount cooler 12 psi through turbotech boost controller 3 Inch turbo back exhaust Hi flow panel filter Adjustable exhaust cam gear Everything else is stock and it made around 162kw atw recently on the dyno. I've been doing some searching on the forums here and think an Apexi SAFC/ Tune might be a good next mod for a relatively small cost. My question to you is: What gains have you made from installing and tuning an Apexi SAFC? What kind of gains (if at all) could I expect? Is this a worthwile mod? Can anyone explain precisely what the SAFC is designed to do? Guys, please be aware that i'm not interested in changing the turbo, or going for huge numbers here, I just want a bit more power/ smoothness. As such, I don't really want to get a PowerFC. Also, I can't afford one at this stage. Let me know your thoughts. Many thanks.

Hi Rianto, If possible, I would like a price on some front rotors to suit my r33 gts-t series 2. (normal slotted ones) Is it possible to have them drilled as well? What is the advantage of doing this? Can I also have a seperate price on rear rotors to suit? Oh, and red stuff pads as well pls? Please excuse the noobness of this post. Thanking you in advance.

R31Nismoid, You are a wealth of information. Can you tell us the circumstances surrounding your court appearances for defects? Not necessarily looking for exact details, but perhaps you could tell us what you were defected for, what the court said etc? Might just help a few people out in similar circumstances. Cheers mate.

How about spending the money on hi-flowing my standard r33 turbo? I hear it can be done for around $800. Correct?

Alright guys, I didn't start this thread to talk about politics, or to whinge about how much money other people are making. Lets keep it on topic eh? Judging by the responses so far, I would say that an ECU is the best bet.

I'd be pretty happy if I paid 60k in tax, surely it would mean i'm doing ok. Not taking the piss mate, just being honest with you.

I have one of the $22 boost controllers that were the talk of the town on here a while ago. It does a pretty decent job of keeping boost. But I sometimes find the acceleration is not that smooth, so perhaps a tune would be in order?

As i'm sure you're all aware, we are in for a bit of shopping spree on behalf of the government. Being the enthusiasts we are, it is probably safe to say a lot of us will spend this money on our cars. My R33 currently has a 3 inch turbo back exhaust, front mount intercooler, high-flow panel filter and has been boosted to 12 pounds. It has been dyno'd as having 160 rwkw (A little disappointing yes- needs o2 sensor desperately). Everything else is stock. My question to you is: What would be the best way for me to spend this $900 bonus on the car? The aim is to increase performance as much as possibile. Let the ideas flow!
