  1. do you still have a full set of floor matts? also have the gear boot and instrument cluster
  2. do you still have the gear boot? does it have any tears/marks etc etc?
  3. PM me your account details buddy, im willing to pay 300 for it as long as that includes delivery to perth ($10-$15 max?) thanks
  4. well GTR re-inforcement bars are quite different http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v24/V5MA.../Picture006.jpg <- pic gtr front end (note it even has holes for n1 vents which also make it even more weaker) by cutting the lower part of the gtst front reos, your ultimately making into the shape of a gtr one, i will admit however, the gtr intercoolers are tucked in abit more closer due to the obvious fact that factory design of the gtr front cooler is better than the aftermarket install of most kits going around. with abit of custom work you can reduce the amount that you need to cut but people dont cut their reo bars for fun, its obviously the only way to do it given the size of intercooler being fitted. dont be afraid, just do it, some cars dont even come with reo bars from factory, eg s14's
  5. i have seen cut reo bars pass the pits, just dont cut it so far that it makes it flimsy, theres no need to go that far theres no way of installing the fmic without cutting it anyway, only cut whats in the way pretty much, common sense
  6. post pictures of your front mount and possibly the front end of your car also so people can suggest things you can do, fmic kits can differ in mounting points from one to another most kits ive seen bolt onto the bottom of the radiator support via brackets and also onto the reo bar, also via brackets
  7. i dont know if this is the right section but.... http://minds-farm.blogspot.com/2010/03/r34...conversion.html found it quite interesting, anyone know where these can be purchased from??
  8. the girl has a valid point by saying skylines are NOT randomly pulled over, they are targeted, which isnt fair ofcourse.. but the rest of this post was rather useless and the original point is not even worth making a thread over lol...... too many of these threads!
  9. i used to have an r33 gtst with 150k on the clock, that had a ticking noise that would only start once the engine was warm, the owner of the car tells me it goes away after an oil change, but returns later, that car also drove like a dream haha. Something sus tells me that your tick is not a lifter... how do you know its a lifter? Does the tapping occur on idle wen u rev to 2000rpm AND when your driving at 2000rpm ? oh and btw FLN75S: r34 gtt's have solid lifters, running a thin oil will make them run slightly more ticky
  10. How many kms on the engine?
  11. you'll be suprised with lifters, they tend to "tap" more so when engine is warm but then again, lifters can be very un-predictable as they come and go. the knock in the video is only there once there is enough load on the piston to push away the oil in the bearing so that it "slaps", on idle theres no knock as the oil pressure is sufficient to patch up the noise.
  12. definitely a big end bearing
  13. considering the fact that u need to take both turbos off to play with the dumps anyway, its probably easier to get a single turbo setup with gate, atleast then its worth it
  14. wannaroo road going up to two rocks, good road to test what your car has - this thread should be great for some cops
  15. check the voltage on ur battery when its running, your alternator might be dead, if its not above 12v u need to replace generally speaking, should b 13v-14v
  16. 15-20 laps with that power level is alot of hardwork on the motor, did you think your stock bottom end was invincible? lol pull the motor apart and you will be one step closer to the reason for failure
  17. yeah, having a world to explore and tonnes of cars to drive is what i like to see, does this have that?
  18. it will always come back eventually, just buff it back using some cutting compound then polish it by hand every 4-5 times u wash ur car, best u can do really
  19. very nice, cant wait to see it perform!
  20. its funny coz we won that very game ALL because i didnt accept the vote to concede, dumb team!
